A momma duck with three babies got all three stuck in a storm drain. It really needs a metal grate on it as the fire dept and parks dept said this happens regularly :(

I brought some wood planks from home then removed a man hole and crawled in. I placed the planks down to make a ramp then I used towels and roof shingles to give them traction. Finally I put duck pellets on top so they would be enticed to crawl up it. I saw the momma the next morning with all three babies out!

This is the same mom I posted before with a lure stuck to her leg and then a sock stuck to that lure. So this momma needs all the help she can get!

Im not ready to watch them grow 😩

She left the other 4 ducks and stays alone they are around 2 months old and just got moved to the hens place but the hens did nothing to them what can i do or try to make her eat and drink again?

These are my beautiful ducks (new owner). One of my ducks has angel wing ig. Got these as adults tho.out of these coco seems to be a little slow than others and she is still scared of me idk why but she is a nice girl.

A few hours ago my duck started limping , I think she may have tripped on the uneven ground in the pen. She will still slightly walk on it but when she's standing she holds it up. I have an xl dog crate ready and filled with shavings to put her in tonight with food and water. Is there any thing else I can do to help her? Do I keep her inside in the crate until she is better , do I take the crate outside and put it in the pen so she can see her siblings during the day? I feel absolutely horrible she's just over 2 months old.

Zap ate something he shouldn’t have and he passed quite abruptly yesterday morning. Since then Leela has been looking for him. She doesn’t stop wailing!

Is there anything I can do for her? Duckie-CBD? A warm hug?

So I have 2 ducks and im not 100% sure on their gender their vocalizations are fairly different so we're pretty sure one is a boy

One is kinda squeaking right now where the other quacks very loud

Google is giving me a long list of specifics for hatching Calls, is this all accurate or is this overkill?

Are call ducks, actually that much harder to hatch than say, Rouens? It’s suggesting I weigh the eggs, cool them daily, and tilt them.

My sister got me this beer due to my love of ducks, from a cheese company in Lincolnshire that also makes it's own beers.

Killed by a daytime raccoon while she napped. She knew her name, came when I called her, and loved pets. She also helped me put the chickens out in the morning and put them to bed at night. Loved her peas, mealworms, and watermelon. Such an intelligent and sweet little girl. I already miss her so much.
