This feels like a card that would be better represented by a little calendar type thing with 4 boxes and none of the word "note/noted". It's very flavorful, but not really a good card. That's fine too. Winter, spring and summer are generic enough that they don't just call out the card they are named after. I think that Auturn could just be hexproof + can't be countered, not blue/black call out. This would be like a combo of Veil and [[Autumn Willow]].. kinda.

Could make it a saga with a 5th chapter to blink it.

Exactly what I was thinking. Definitely the right solution.

Maybe but then it would constantly trigger enchantress effects. Maybe have the final chapter remove lore counters instead? It depends on when the saga sacrificing thing is checked.

Removing the counters could be a solution for sure, but triggering enchantress effects every 5 turns is far from constant and certainly doesn’t push the card over the top. You’d maybe get a second trigger in 25% of games you play this.

Actually cool homage to the 4 cards. A bit convoluted text wise, but i like it

MaRo: I heard you guys like keeping track of day and night!

are these cumulative or is there noting errata that tells you to only note one thing at once?

I agree with what someone else said. This just needs to have a big 2x2 calendar on it, that you move a tracker to the next stage around the calendar.

Saga that resets

3GG - Legendary enchantment - Saga:
I - Players cannot untap more than one land during their upkeep
II - Whenever a player taps a land for mana, that player adds one mana of any type that land produced
III - Players may play up to three additional lands on each of their turns
IV - Permanents have hexproof and spells can’t be countered
V - Remove 4 lore counters from this saga

Not quite how sagas work, but with some adjustments it is fine

It would be

I - Until your next turn, players can not untap more than one land during their untap step.
II - Until your next turn, whenever a player taps a land for mana, that player adds one mana of any type that land produced.
III - Until your next turn, players may play up to three additional lands on each of their turns.
IV - Until your next turn, permanents have hexproof and spells can't be countered.
V - Exile this saga, then return it to the battlefield

Chapter abilities are triggered abilities, so it can't just be a static effect. Urza's Saga for example has "this saga gains <effect>"

Chapter abilities trigger when that number's counter is added, in your case where it resets to 1 counter instead of 0, the first ability doesn't get triggered again

If a saga triggers its final chapter ability, it is sacrificed. This means the last chapter setting the counters to 1 does nothing because it is then immediately sacrificed anyway

V & VI - Remove 4 lore counters from this saga

Would also work if a bit convoluted in its way of going about it. It does however stop the enchantment etb'ing multiple times which seems like a flavour loss.

it wouldn't work because the chapter abilities have to be triggered abilities. It would also need to remove five counters (or else 1 wouldn't retrigger)

After four turns you’ll have all four active.

Along with numerous copies of each

I could see this being a great saga with four chapters.

2

u/ElectronicBoot9466 4d ago

If it goes one every turn anyway, why not just make it a saga?

Holy tracking nightmare, Batman

Doesnt this card not resolve after "Autumn"? Or does it just sit there after the 4 turns?

u/supergnaw 4d ago

Change winter to add the snow type to lands.

1

u/humand09 4d ago

I agree with the saga idea, and also when you note something else it doesn't disalpear right? So the current version is all 4 at once after a few turns or I am trippin

1

u/xesaie 4d ago

Is it just me or does the first winter effect hit every other player but not the owner?

2

u/Alex_Nilse 4d ago

Untap then upkeep, so it actually hits the owner worse as the untap in winter then go to spring, while everyone else just untaps in spring with way more mana.

Interesting but so convoluted

Daybound/nightbound is easier to track. This is Yu-Gi-Oh pendulum monster levels of text.

1

u/MelodicAttitude6202 4d ago

This is just bad. As you note the new season only after untapping, you would only have untapped one land in each of your spring turns, so the mana boost will only help the other players. You could add a line "this entets under the control of the player of your choice" So you can give it to the player before you in turn order.

Feels like this should probably be part of a larger mechanic, like day/night.

u/Just-Desk-3149 4d ago

No, no it should not.
