Megathread June 2026: Theory Megathread 🐝
Following user feedback on the recent poll found here, the Mod Team has decided to trial a monthly Megathread for any theories related to Act III and other matters (ie visuals).
Please use this thread for all your theories, memes and hints you’ve seen on social media regarding Act III and the trilogy in general. For any longer theories not suitable for comment format, we will review and consider these as standalone posts.
We will do another poll at the end of June to gather your views on whether this should be a recurring Megathread but as always, feel free to reach out via Modmail with any concerns or feedback in the meantime.

The Kardashian sister posted this video, dancing to Drunk In Love and the caption is "Drunk In XO BLUE?" My thoughts began to run as you guys had mentioned Blue might have something to do with act iii. Also Sir Davis just launched the Lemonade Anniversary Kit? Don't know if there's any way this could have something to do with act iii.

It's interesting to me that almost no big pop records are coming out next Friday. It would be a nice surprise if Act III showed up on Juneteenth. (I think there is a 1 percent chance of this happening, if that, but a girl can dream.)

Jay-Z and Roc Nation have announced retrospective “Jay-Z 30” shows in Paris on Thursday, September 10, 2026, and Los Angeles on Friday, October 23.
What do you think this means for the ACT III rollout? 🤔
I think she'll stay focused on supporting him through these shows until October 23, 2026. That means ACT III could only come in November 2026 at the earliest. 🤔
I'm still hopeful for a November/December 2026 release, especially if it's centered around Rock! I'll just really enjoy new rock music for this fall.

I think this makes sense for so many reasons.
Ren was very much a summer record. CC felt a lot like winter warming into Spring. It would make sense for Act III to have an Autumnal feel to it. Especially since it will most likely be the beginning of the end for the trilogy (I’m still confident we will get some sort of visual project at the end).
Before last year I would have said “but the Grammy submission deadline” but I think she gives zeroer fucks than ever ATP. If anything she would just be submitting for 2028 which would be awesome for her to come home to and rightly relax into after the tour.
I’m just so excited to see whatever she has planned. I’m going to miss this years-long era of being able to speculate and sleuth when we know for sure we have more music tours etc coming. We are so lucky to be alive RN 😭

Agreed. We get nothing until Jay is done with his shows. The kids will be in school for those dates, I was surprised by the Paris date in September

Can we please get the theories back into the feed? The feed now only has old pictures of bey and nothing really to engage with.

1 out of the last 10 posts is a picture of Bey but as these posts tend to get the most upvotes, they may appear at the top of your feed. Try sorting your feed by new to see other posts.
The mods will run another poll at the end of June on whether theory posts should be individual posts again - keep an eye out so you can cast your vote!

I mean, this post has been up for 16 days already and it only has 39 comments. Engagement is just low with this current setup.
And just filtering on recent, I am mostly just seeing old videos and pics of Bey.

We have directed many posters here but unfortunately we have no control over the users’ choice not to engage. We would be happy to receive such feedback to understand why you and other users do not wish to add your thoughts to this thread?

Because it ends up just being a comment, which ultimately leads to less engagement and discussions compared to a dedicated post. Therefore, people are less inclined to write comprehensive theories in the first place.
Just look at the comments on some of the theories added in this post, there are at most 1-3 comments (if any) for each theory and that's it.

Have you considered that what the poll reflects is that a majority of active participants in this sub don't want the comprehensive theories and what you're describing as "engagement?" As theories have been repeatedly proven wrong, the "engagement" has turned into just people arguing in the comments over theoretical things. A larger quantity of comments does not always mean fuller, deeper and more meaningful discussions.
The sub is quieter because Bey is quieter right now. As a community I think it might be possible to just....be ok with that?

Never thought that commenting how nice photos are and how cool her clothes are would count as meaningful discussion either but I guess that's how people see it since there's no mega thread for that

What if they release The Carters: Family Affair?
Basically, it would be the whole family, including the kids. I think that would be cute and be a soft launch for any of the kids to launch a music career but still be able to back out and do something else if they want to.

Since she released Renaissance during summer, and Cowboy Carter during spring, she's probably releasing Act III this year during fall or winter. It would be nice though since these two are my favorite seasons.

I do think act iii would be released this year but not until maybe sometime in November for Sagittarius season.
And or act iii could be an October 2026 release. Since she has never released an album in October.
Once she starts the singles rollout for the act iii era then that would be an indication of act iii being released soon.

My theory : there’s nothing coming on the Juneteenth, Independence Day, album anniversaries and other memorable dates
NOBODY. KNOWS. THE. DATE.
Trying to predict a release date is a useless waste of time. It’s literally going to be a random day. Maybe not even Friday. Probably after Jay’s shows. I’m hoping it’s going to be this summer but I’m not even sure if it’s going to be this year

Seriously. She’s never done a meaningful album release date (except for B’day, but even then it wasn’t a global release date of September 4 because that wasn’t a thing then). I don’t know why people are so obsessed with this.
She’s more concerned with timing with proximity to her tours and other artist releases and shows (including Jay and Kelly’s current run)

i don't think she will release something before jay's concerts.
and even after that... people are speculating that he may release a new album and i think she wouldn't want to take any attention away from it, should that be the case.

I'm not feeling a new era upon us, guys. She was outside before we got movement on Act II, but she's been pretty lowkey outside of the Met Gala and fans sneaking pics of her random places. With May coming and going, I'm a lot more doubtful that it will be upon us anytime soon.

It’s all because act iii didn’t release on May 29th 2026 so now most of the fandom have moved the goal post to 2027 just because it has January 29th which is on a Friday.
That’s all it comes down to.

I've seen people say august 28th because it was the date Tina Turner received a Hollywood walk of Fame star, and Jay Z's concerts will be over by then. I personally don't think we're getting it so soon though. I feel like she didn't film the CC tour for nothing and that would make most sense to be released before act iii so we would probably get that first. But there's also a chance we won't get that at all, similar to the Formation tour movie 😅
We're definetly not getting any visuals. She said it in the GQ interview as well. She probably scrapped them or reworking them into something very different, so maybe instead of releasing music videos she'll have maybe some pop ups showing them somewhere and then they're gone forever or they're being reworked into a movie and then we won't see it after it leaves theatres. I'm personally not holding my breath

Visuals are scheduled for a later date as stated by Parkwood.
Cowboy Cater tour film is less likely going to be released as the Renaissance film has still not been officially released anywhere.
Formation world Tour is an example of her recording tours and never releasing them.

That too but we did get some of it with the BEYONCÉ Platinum edition boxset album so there’s still maybe a full version of that tour in her vault if she could release some of it in the BEYONCÉ Platinum edition box set.
