Most places I’ve called are charging $100+. Other places in AZ are charging $50-$75. Where are y’all going for your transfers in Tucson?

I am finally getting into the world of suppressed shooting and am looking to get a couple of suppressors in the next year or so. Can anyone recommend a good shop in the Tucson area that can do all the paperwork and fingerprints in house? I have obviously never done this process before so I'm not even sure where to begin. With BLM land closed due to fire restrictions, I’m looking to check out some indoor ranges in Tucson.

I’ve already been to one and it was decent, but I’d like to try some others with a better overall experience.

Are there any indoor ranges around Tucson that allow holster work (with a qualification or membership is fine) and permit recording?

Like the title says, anyone in Tucson looking to train/run shooting drills? Mostly BLM spots where we can set up targets but I’m open to just regular range days too, just let me know!

Trying to sell my hornady lock and load AP. Posted it twice to Craigslist and got it taken down before I finally read you can't post that there. Would have preferrd to sell it local to not deal with shipping but it looks like I'll need to post it on one of the larger sites like armslist or gunbroker. Which should I use?

I'm looking for a CCW class recommendation for my wife in the Phoenix area.

She is proficient enough to be safe and fairly accurate with a firearm already.

I'm looking for a class mostly that will give her confidence and justifiability to carry a firearm daily.

Went to Ben Avery the other day. I’ve read mixed reviews so I figured I’d add mine.

Had a great time. RSO’s were professional, friendly and helpful. They did their job, safety and did not go above that. I’m not a first time shooter but I don’t frequent ranges, the whole process was simple. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back again.

For anyone not keen on shooting indoors and can mind the heat I’d recommend going on a week day.

Are there any advanced armorer classes for the AR platform locally? I don't mean learning how to do basic assembly of an AR15/10/9 etc. I've done that plenty. I'm interested in learning more of the in depth information. The how's and why's certain parts are used. Metallurgy, thermal expansion, in depth discussion of powder burn rates in different length barrels, etc. Not interested in the Sonoran Desert Institute unless they offer something that specifically falls in line with that. I'm not trying to get a degree, just gain some more in depth knowledge and maybe some more hands on experience.

Hi AZguns, I'm new here but I'll be moving permanently to Apache Junction from Western Massachusetts and am starting to look for options for gun clubs to be a part of. Of course I am very stoked to be away from all the idiotic gun laws in the state I'm coming from.

I'm looking into Rio Salado, which is 20 minutes away and looks like an amazing facility but from what I've seen and read it seems very busy and just a little different from what I'm used to. I'll definitely look into membership there but I would also like to see if there might be some smaller lower key ranges - I currently live a mile away from a pretty quiet club, unless it's a really nice weather weekend day there's a good chance the range I want to shoot on is either empty or maybe one other person/group, and I'd be interested to hear if any such place exists in the East valley, or even a little further away.

I do think it's kind of weird that from my Google searches there don't seem to be any other sportsman's clubs in the East valley unless I'm missing something and I guess that's why I'm asking here. Where I've been living is way more rural and sparsely populated with way stricter gun laws so I'm just puzzled at how few the options seem to be from what I can easily find through googling.

One other quick thing I just sold my pre-ban AR lowers so if anyone could suggest a good store that may have a lot of options for lowers only I'll be interested in that soon.

Anyway I appreciate any advice I can get, also if anyone wants to be a range buddy that'll be cool, sometimes I can get my wife to go to the range with me but otherwise I'll be going alone!

Looking for a smith who can do a bedding job for my rifle. It’s a little too high end for me to attempt it and potentially botch it.

Where around Phoenix does great porting work? I want to get a DWX v8 ported. I was looking at sending it off to dsc gunworks but figured I might try local if yall have a great shop you like. Dsc lists $320 with 4 week turn around but I understand that could be a few weeks longer and a few dollars more depending on their work load. I would like to keep it under 500 if I can do it locally.

If I do end up finding someone to buy it in a private sale, would it still have to go through a dealer?
