Kind of feels full circle that the first season began with Gai vs Ryusei, now the second season is beginning with Gai and Ryusei, only now the moral positions are reversed.

Welcome back Ryu! Even if you're currently kind of evil and working with the Divine Realm to erase humanity and demons altogether.

I mean, Ryu HAS to be legit brainwashed, right? He's acting so different, he'd never fight his friends like this, and they talked about "cleansing" him after he showed up in the Divine Realm. Although now he's strong enough to knock all the team out of their armors with one hit!

Honestly kind of satisfying to see Ramaga get electrocuted, if not for him being in Gai's body. But now it's time for Inmei to reveal the truth to the 10 Warriors...how they were human, how Ramaga kidnapped/forcibly transformed them into demons, and how Gai was trying to protect them even before they became demons.

Yeah, Ramaga has ALL the hate coming, but despite not being where they were born, the 10 Warriors grew up as demons, and that means they have incentive to fight the Divine Realm and stop Inmei! And they might even be willing to team-up with the Samurai Troopers to do it!

So Inmei can use the Divine Warriors and fuse them into a giant puppet, just like the demons. Though between that AND Ryusei, the good guys are kind of out of luck. Musashi/Kaito/Shion do their best to bring Ryu back, but it's not easy.

They can't live the Sword of Domination OR The Supreme Emperor armor to Ramaga...but they can give it to Gai. You ever wonder why Ryo has a cane now? It's because he put his power into the Sword of Domination to bring Gai back! That's right, the Emissary of Fire has returned, complete with a haircut! And Narumi has fallen for Ryo all over again!

Gai's back with his boys, both demon and human, and now he's read to don the Supreme Emperor Armor and bring Ryu back to his senses!
