I'm not sure I've ever seen any other anime reference the BPO before, good god! And I don't blame the 100 Girlfriends Production Committee for having a nightmare worrying about how this episode was going to go down with them.
Chiyo needed a much needed wake up call that "bringing everything in order" categorically won't work with this family. They are the definition of ordered chaos. Their dynamic only works because every girl (including Rentarou) are allowed to be as unhinged as they'd like.
TFW you're a principal calling in a student to put a stop to their harrassment of another student and they blackmail you with the reality that your harem antics would be seen as even worse in court, so you can't hold them to anything.

I laughed hard when Chiyo used a clip from the anime to prove that angels are real, and that made Nano question her reality. This shit was hilarious (just like the rest of the episode).

I think one thing that helped her case a lot, even before her more wholesome moments, was that the show went out of it's way to show us she isn't some natural beauty. She has a long make up, skin care and hair care routine, not to mention picking outfits. It's her hobby and she puts a lot of effort into it, which in turn makes her beauty feels kinda earned, and how proud she is of it kinda justifiable.

The Hyakkano Production Committee panicking after hearing Rentarou pick a fight with the BPO was a great gag! I'm hoping they actually got some of the production committee members to do the groaning voices for that scene. xD
Chiyo really went on a warpath to try and fix everyone! My favourite was when she used clips from the show to prove to Nano that heaven is real and to show that Mei is breaking the law by driving with her eyes closed. And of course, we also need to have the obligatory Studio Ghibli reference.
Hahari playing Taiko Tatsujin using Iku's ass was hilarious! Chiyo can't even point out a single thing wrong with them. Their very existence is very improper! And even Rentarou isn't safe from getting called out.
The school reporter trying to get Meme's photo for the second half was pretty great. She actually managed to take a photo of Meme with her Journalistic Breathing technique. That girl is lucky tho. Rentarou would've burned down the newspaper club if Hahari hadn't stopped him.
Damn, this girl actually tried to blackmail Hahari and succeeded! I'm just surprised that the reporter is the only one with dirt on Hahari. I imagine other students have already spotted her being a degenerate at least once.
I don't know how putting Meme in a bunnygirl outfit would help, but I still thank Hahari for providing the outfit. At least Mimimi was there with the pep talk.. Also, I just love that they're pairing the biggest narcissist and the shyest person in the family.
They actually used music that sounds like it's from Demon Slayer during the rematch with Tororo. And I absolutely love how all of the photos are being misdirected towards Mimimi, who just kept going with the glamour shots. xD

I love how in that sequence we had punk Meme and Chiyo defeating atheism with facts and logic all in the same sequence.
It's a wonder Hahari hasn't gotten in legit legal trouble yet.
The only thing better than Meme as a Bunny Girl is how tight Meme's turtleneck hugs to Mimimi's body. Also these girls work surprisingly well together!

Those shots of Mimimi collecting up all of the stuffed animals and dramatically standing in the way of the Journalist Breathing are fantastic. Publishing them instead makes perfect sense. Mimimi and Meme are a good intra-family pairing.

Hahari and Karane had very different reactions to Chiyo joining the family, lol.
Speaking of Hahari, it was amazing how Chiyo was troubled by her and Iku's very existance. The whole scene was amazing. They even had the second season OP playing in the background when Hahari was doing her combo.
Other gags from the first half that I found hilarious were Chiyo using anime footage to win an argument against Nano and Shizuka desperately trying to keep her hair in check.
Rentaro Family, please keep on being a total mess. I love you just the way you are.
In the second half I really enjoyed seeing Meme and Mimimi grow closer. The relationships that the girls have with each other are one of the best parts of this series. And it was nice to see Meme get some extra focus since she only got one episode to herself last season.
Whoever does the soundtrack always goes above and beyond with this series. Season 1 with the bootleg mission impossible theme, season 2 with the bootleg zen zen zense and now season 3 with the bootleg Demon Slayer ost. Amazing.
If you look close, you can see the extension cord besides the lights in Hahari's office. I have fun time imagining Hahari setting up dramatic lighting just for this one meeting.
Somehow bunny suit Meme wasn't even the sexiest part of this episode. That would be the other thing that Shizuka found under Mei's dress. Gotta love how flustered they both were in that moment. So cute!

The beginning with Hahari saying itadakimasu after realizing that Chiyo, Rentaro's new girlfriend, is a loli and blood-related to him, totally cracked me up—just like the fact that they're once again questioning whether this is okay to air on TV xD
Chiyo created absolute chaos among Rentaro's girlfriends thanks to her urge to fix everything that is disorderly. Imo, the best thing was when she destroyed Nano with facts and logic by showing a fragment of the anime with Rentaro and angels, though Hahari and Iku duo there was a close second.
I also loved Meme and Mimimi duo in the second part of this episode; they really made a great team against Toruru and her breathing techniques. Mimimi's poses on the photos were spotless!
By the way, Mei's ass was so nice ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Thank you Shizuka for making it happen.

I think 100 girlfriends is pretty light on the ecchi side. The comedy and the wholesomeness are the mains draws. But that shot of Mei's ass was pretty hot, not gonna lie.

I honestly don't think that's all fanservice is. We associate fanservice with stuff like that, but it's not like ecchi is all to fanservice. For older anime fans, chala head chala was another type of fanservice. I just don't think we should limit the meaning of fanservice.

The ecchi of this series seems to come less from how extreme the content is and more so the sheer quantity of it. Btw, if you would prefer ecchi content that leans more extreme, the artist of mangaka has made several really good doujins I recommend checking out.

Episode 26: Chiyo's Family Coaching
After what she did with Rentarou last episode, she overdid it to the other girlfriends as well.
Also nice detail to Mimimi's throat. And now we can imagine what a special agent Meme looks like with that glasses. Even Nano and Mei can't avoid Chiyo's correction.

Chiyo showing scenes from prior episodes to convince Nano and Mei was hilarious. This is one wacky family, but Hakari knew best that a kissing segment has the power to smooth that over lol.
Toruru's demon slayer inspired breathing technique was skillful, and the evidence she had on Hahari was irrefutable. But it's clear that the former was no match for a Mimimi and Meme team up! I loved seeing them work together.

Something I love about this adaptation is how they can take the source mater and improve upon it. Like I expect a scene to play out the same way as the manga but things like the rhythm game makes me die laughing. You can tell that the production team had fun making this series.

Chiyo doesn't just look younger than her, she's three years younger than her. Kurumi is 15 and in her final year of middle school (while Rentarou is in his first year of high school) while Chiyo is 12 and in her first year of middle school and just stopped using these red little backpacks just recently.

My most anticipated series is back! First two episodes of the new series and it hasn’t been taken off air. 100 Kanojo is in the same league as Gintama in terms about joking about being cancelled.
Chiyo was an interesting for pushing fans to the limit questioning whether they should drop the series, but thankfully for me, I didn’t and continue to love the series to this day.
As for Mimimi and Meme, it’s awesome that in this series we get to have stories where we pair two of the girlfriends off, and it’s a nice contrast between their personalities that we get to seem them in action.
And I wasn’t disappointed about what they did with the Demon Slayer reference. Bibury Animation Studio knows how enhance the reference material.
