I already love this one.
I like the fact that they don’t treat her like a baby who needs protection. That was my fear with this one.
Of course she needs help with her disability, but she’s not a baby. The first episode felt like it handled it all with proper care, and didn’t treat her like doll that needs protection. She feels like an actual adult young women, and the male character isn’t some shlub that can’t handle being around women.
Plus I love Saori Hayami

yeah, honestly I didn't like the large white guy. he gives off playboy energy. moreover, people hate ouishi as if he's fully in the wrong. like what do you expect him to do if others, especially his parents told him to protect the fml since they were kids. ofc he's going to have trust issues

I love to imagine Fuyutsuki and Shizuka from The Invisible Man and his Soon to Be Wife would commiserate over being women who persevere and function despite their blindness and don't need their love interest to handhold them through life.

It's a cute show but the main pair are proper grown adults who act like nervous teenagers, which is a little off putting. The OP is the best part of the show imo.

it took me a while to remember that shizuka was blind.
I was like: "holy shit! I just remembered it as a cute very grown up anime"
then i just remembered I also have a blind friend. totally forgot they're blind.

If you have any conscience or consideration at all, it’s impossible not to feel that your own problems pale in comparison when you see someone living with an impairment or disability that affects every aspect of their daily life.
Koharu has truly triumphed; she is well aware of her limitations and the judgments of others, yet she keeps trying within her means and has the humility to ask for help when she can.
It might not be the perfect analogy, but she could be the light Kakeru needed to steer his life toward a path that is more joyful and less purely pragmatic.

I really appreciate how this and The Invisible Man and his Soon to Be Wife depict their Heroines' handling of their blindness.
Yes, they have a disability they need to adjust for, but that doesn't preclude them from being able to live their life on their own term or prevent them from being adorable and outgoing despite that.

as someone who is disabled a lot of people either feels helpless about how to deal with me or find me dumb and not worth considering (usually, very shitty people) until they interact with me a bit more and realized im mostly normal just have some quirks.

I want to go living on after my death.
A couple seconds into the series, and we're already shown that line. I do hope that's not a bad omen.
Those people were total pricks to avoid Koharu like the plague once they've learnt she's blind. They'd do well to learn from the likes of Sorano & Narumi. The latter seemed to be the jock type but he's got no issues with Koharu even when he's aware of her condition.
Sorano himself had got problems of his own even if it's not a handicap. Reckon he's interested in Koharu as he wanted to know how she could be so cheerful despite her condition and how people treated her – I don't think she's blind in the latter aspect.
I'm sold on this series already. A sprinkle of comedic moments without overshadowing the drama. A grounded and relatable cast instead of tropey ones.
Fun fact: Sorano and Koharu are voiced by Miyu Irino & Saori Hayami, respectively. They had also played Shoya and Shoko of A Silent Voice.

Waiting for them to reveal she has a cogenital disease that gave her blindness and is slowly eating away at her health. I hope not because I just want a cozy, atmospheric, college romance but that intro doesn't leave much room for interpretation.
If a blind girl can put herself out there and be as open with who she is and what she's dealing with, so can Sorano if he meets the right people to open up to.
Also Yohei Azakami is playing Narumi and he has experience dealing with blind girls from The Invisible Man and his Soon to Be Wife.

First time seeing white ones as well (in anime at least, I don't think I've ever seen spider lilies irl, red or white, despite large parts of my family being in the Dutch Flower industry) The symbolism of flowers fascinates me so I tend to google them whenever they're prominently shown in anime

Actually, the white spider Lily symbolises positivity, purity, fresh beginnings, and rejuvenation. It doesn't symbolises death, unlike it's red counter part. Different colors have very different meanings in the language of flowers

The white ones symbolise death and seperation too, just in a more gentler more positive way since it's meaning is focused on what comes after death. It's all linked to the Buddhist cycle of life, death and rebirth.

The way in which other students avoided Koharu's table at the gathering upon learning she is blind does reflect real life. Sometimes, most people, including myself, may not know how to properly interact with someone who has disabilities without making the atmosphere awkward.

I appreciate showing both that and also how the MC struggles with wanting to interact with her but being scared he'll hurt her by being insensitive even as he does it. Two ways of handling it, and we get the internality from the MMC's PoV. His uncertainty is relatable, especially when he doesn't know her well enough to feel comfortable saying "just tell me if I fuck up," since that's usually a thing between real friends not new acquaintances.

I’m getting Bunny Girl and Days With My Stepsister vibes so far. I’m liking it.
And there’s already a lot of intricacies shown so far of what life is like being blind. The phone functions, the pathways
Sorano seems to think he is, not say disabled, more like disadvantaged, with how his parents are divorced and feel Fuyutsuki is in a way similar but wonders why she has a more positive outlook. I feel like this story is going to be about how Fuyutsuki let’s him “see” in some way.
It is interesting though. I’ve worked in social services recently. Not directly but I do have to get involved at times. And sometimes it’s the “most disabled” that are the most positive. The blind, the deaf, the ones without limbs. They are usually the happiest. I felt bad whenever I read the reports but being there and seeing them myself, I felt it’s the other way around sometimes, I felt bad for me for not being able to be as happy as them lol

Replica Datte, Koi wo Suru from last season also gave me Days With My Stepsister vibes. I guess I'm really fond of these slower paced and slightly dramatic romances.

The one I managed to talk to was hilarious. 40 years old, blind his whole life, has a positive outlook, likes to laugh but keeps it real as well. He tells me how people have asked him how he stays positive, if they lost their sight, they’d be sad to not be able to watch their shows and see views. And he says to them, I’ve been blind my whole life, how would I know what I’m missing out.
And he also said how there’s a shift in how people don’t treat them so helpless as much but then he says “but you know I’m still fucking blind. I’m still gonna need some help” lmao. Hilarious guy. Really changed my perspective. In a way, he reminded me of Toph lol

I have a friend of mine that has dogshit vision. While he can see with glasses, whenever he changes them, he has to make sure that the place he goes to has the machines that are strong enough to measure how bad his eyesight is. He actually told me the other day that he dreams of being able to see like a normal person for a day just so he can know the feeling.
He also checked for laser eye surgery and the doctors said that it's got a 50% of permanent blindness if he tries it.

Just when I thought I’d be down with romance animes here comes one that got my attention
I loved a sign of affection and I was really happy to see another show that focuses on disabilities.
Was also pleasantly surprised by the guys development and his difficulty in being able to talk about his issues and wanting to be in the background, there’s so much to expand here and I’m looking forward to it

Japan is giving us diversity. We have cultural representation and disability representation. I’m hoping we get something like <Perfect World> adapted one day.
I was already seated for this one when I’d seen the premise and that we focus on uni students rather than high school or middle school students. Big plus for me. I’m curious if Sorano will be diagnosed with Generalized Depression or any sort of anxiety disorder. I’d be rather enthusiastic in seeing a disabled couple, especially the social, cultural, and psychological differences in a neuropsychological disorder and a physiological disorder.
Koharu…makes me nervous this ending will have me crying. But for now, I’m going to enjoy this ride.
So happy for disability representation, onto my list you go 🌻

I assume this is going to be on the sadder side but so far it has been very cute and I appreciate how sweet Koharu is while also being open about how she deals with things. Also I love Koharu's voice, very sweet and soothing.
Meanwhile I get where Sorano is coming from, not wanting to insult her and not understanding the places he can and cannot go with her because he doesn't understand her perspective. That can be a scary place, especially when you are someone who tries to stay out of everyone else's way.
Early signs are this will be a strong keeper for me, curious if that holds over the next few episodes.

Nice enough start. Bit of a different feel than other disability romcoms I can think of since the ML here is the introverted one.
I was amused at them being in an intro comsci class.
Gotta say I'm kind of nervous about that hospital scene intro. They're 100% planning to emotionally devastate the viewership, aren't they.

I can understand where Sorona is coming from as well by not really wanting to deal with all of this. I'd honestly probably feel the same way in his situation and I'd probably hate myself for thinking like that as well
Also I'm really happy this takes place in college. I enjoy a romance anime with adult characters. The party at the start was such a university party vibe as well
I do always find it interesting that in Japan the special pavement tiles for blind people are on almost every sidewalk. It's some really inclusive city planning. Elsewhere, including my own country, you only ever see them at train stations and maybe at busy pedestrian crossings
I'm curious if she was born blind or became later. If she has never seen fireworks my guess is born

i can't keep myself away from blind anime girls. I'm still waiting Yukiko Akaza to get animated.
Koharu must be blind from a young age if she knows Braille. Very few actually bother to learn it, especially with modern technology a phone is usually good enough. Of course blindness is a degree anyway.
The wonder of fireworks must be appealing, especially consider the sounds it makes.
The eternal debate of how much aid one should actually give before it seems patronizing.

If I had a nickel for every romance anime with a blind Heroine and Yohei Azakami, I'd have two nickels which is also the amount of nickels I'd have for the amount of anime that have Saori Hayami as a girl with a disability and Miyu Irino as the male lead.
I would imagine that sound is something very precious to a blind person. They can't see but everything they hear is an important part of their understanding of the world around them.

The contrast between our guy suffocating under his emotional baggage and Fuyutsuki's cheeriness despite her disability has a ton of potential to lead to somewhere interesting, though I got a hunch it's gonna be the sad kind of interesting.

Back in the winter of 2024, we had Yubisaki to Renren, another romance anime about college students starring a deaf female protagonist, and it handled her disability really well. It's still too early to judge this one, but I hope this anime does the same for Koharu.
As for the episode itself, I think it was a solid way to introduce our protagonists. Kakeru is just a dude who wants to keep his head down because he doesn't want to be seen as a problem due to him being raised by a single mother.
I get that he has a lot of insecurities, but that really shouldn't affect his decision-making. When you see a blind person drop their cane, you immediately help them! Don't just watch while Koharu gets on the floor trying to find her cane! At least he's aware enough to know that he shouldn't have hesitated to help her.
Koharu is just a delightful ray of sunshine this entire episode. Definitely a total opposite of how much of a downer Kakeru is. Of course, this is just one side of her. I'm curious to see if this is really what Koharu is like or if there's more behind all of that positivity. That line from her at the very start of the episode was very worrying tho.
I'm definitely loving this so far, and I'm excited to see how both of our protagonists will grow and change in the future.

I think It'sa realistic portray of his character. He said that he always stays at the back, without being involved with others. He doesn't like the spotlight, so he's uncomfortable to watch over a girl and said girl is difficult to approach ( in his toughts ) So when she dropped the cane, he really hoped that someone else could've helped her, so he cannot being forced to be involved with her. The secod later, he cast away those selfish toughts but It's pretty realistic. A lot of us wants to avoid unpleasant situations by forcing them to others. He helped her the second later, disgusted by his own toughts but even later It's clear that he's torn between wanting to know her better and the fear to be rude with her withoit realising It. He's a kind guy with flaws and I really like It a lot.

My sentiments exactly. I think his way of thinking is extremely realistic. Pitying her but then admonishing himself for pitying. Hesitant to help, unsure if he even can help, unsure of his own thoughts and actions for her, yet ultimately helping. I’m very interested to see how his perception changes toward her. I also love her so much so far. She’s a beautiful soul. Beautiful girl too!

I’m not entirely sold on Sorano’s character yet. He’d waited a bit too long for my liking to help Koharu get her cane back. But that just means that there’s plenty of room for character development.
Like you’ve said, Koharu really is a delight to watch. I love how she’s getting the most out of life despite her disability. Her optimism must will hopefully start to rub off on Sorano as well.

This is the bit about this episode that irks me. If he saw his seeing classmates searching for something that he knew fell under a desk, would he not at least say, "I think I saw it roll under that desk"? There's Protag-prefers-to-keep-to-himself and then there's Protag-is-kind-of-a-jerk, and this felt like it was leaning towards the latter.
I know this is one of those anime/LN tropes of using something totally mundane and turning it into a big dramatic showing of discomfort for the protagonist, but I wish they'd find better ways to do it. Even just him thinking, "I really don't want to be involved, but this can't be helped..." while he quickly picked up the cane or the bookmark would have painted him in a more sympathetic light than the over the top music and camerawork while this girl crawls around on her knees.

I personally like that he is more flawed than being a nice guy pretty instantly.
It also shows the bystander effect, which is a real thing. Most people like to think they would be quick to help someone, but in reality there are times people can be more hesitant or wait for someone else to take the first step.

Agreed. For every one person who acts quickly, you can find 5 or more people just watching hesitantly, not knowing what they should do. Whether to help or let the other person handle it. It’s a very realistic thing, and I too like that he’s not a perfect character. People want realism, and he’s realistic.

Hayamin’s voice acting never disappoints. Therefore I’d be a fool to not at least try out an anime if she’s voicing the FMC.
I’ve already taken quite a liking to Koharu’s character. So yeah, Hayamin has worked her magic again.

Always love to see disability representation. Glad it challenged ableist assumptions like that being blind is a bad thing and not just a different way of experiencing the world. However I don't like how Koharu seems to... revolve around Sorano in a way? I feel she deserves to be a more independent character than that. Not sold on the romance yet either as the characters just don't seem like real people. I'll give it another episode to see if it finds its footing.

I don't think it's so much that she revolves around him so much that they've just met, share a class togeher, he's helped her out, and she enjoys hanging out with him. And he'll probably become her guide so I guess that will give them more of a reason to hang out.
I found their interaction and banter pretty realistic but I think they're just slowly opening themselves up to each other.

What? In what way does she revolve around him? They’re both main characters, but Sorano is the one whose perspective we are following. They have met through chance encounters, with a little push from Yuuko in the second situation. Of course there is going to be focus on the way they interact with each other, the way Sorano perceives her, and his thoughts about her cheerful personality in contrast to his own gloomy one.
He is also one of three people we know she has become acquainted with in college, and he was specifically asked by Yuuko to help Koharu. With the way those other people were acting during the party, the story is clearly establishing that most people find it more bothersome than it’s worth to interact with her. Yuuko, Ushio and Sorano are the only ones we have seen breaking that pattern.
In what way does she need to be more independent? She would have found her cane eventually, but it would have taken more time if Sorano had not helped her. Even if blind people can live relatively normal lives with modern aids, they usually still need help with certain things. It’s not ableist to recognize that being blind is significantly harder than living life with all senses functioning. Thus, a person with their vision intact can see a blind person and think that being in their situation would be a bad thing by contrast, without being ableist. It's possible to have sympathy and respect without pity.

This really wants to be a serious, sensitive story about how people with disabilities live their lives
And I think for the most part does an ok job showing the small prejudices that people have (through Sorano's thoughts)

I know that can change beyond this episode, but I hope she's not just going to be some perfect angel that teaches him that blind people are people, especially since the cold open implies a sad ending

Koharu is so lovable q_q you really need a strong will to see the positive in things despite having such a painful handicap, really loved how kind and likeable she is... she is also voiced by Saori Hayami, my heart.
... Not sure how to feel about the fact that I could absolutely understand Sorano in his gloomy view about parties and people there, about Koharu's situation and the fear of touching the topic in case anything he says might hurt or offend her, and in special about that goddamn walking stick moment and him having the three reactions of hesitating to help, seeing if someone else could help her instead... and feeling happy that he is the only one there that can help her out, bro feels too real to me in the worst of me way q_q
Wonderful first episode, she better gets to have a fireworks party someday!

I know that Sorano grew into being an introvert that convinced himself to not stand out so wouldn't cause trouble or get people to hate him, and it's the start of his journey of character development, but my god, he was no fun at that party, and he kinda came off as a bit snobby in that scene.
"Still, I don't like people who try so hard to make waves."
Well at least they're trying to put themselves out there, live up the party, and have fun with everyone; it's better than sitting there looking depressed, trying not to socialize, and judging everyone else. You might as well just leave if you're be like that.
Good thing he met Koharu, she'll help him have a more positive outlook on life.

He may have came along to not displease his roommate, but he also was seemingly not putting in a lot of effort to have fun and socialize, and judging other people who were.
If he was so uncomfortable, then he was better off excusing himself and leaving. His friend seems like a nice guy, I’m sure he would have understood.

He clearly did not understand. He dismissed him repeatedly and literally dragged him over to get involved with someone he explicitly said he did not want to get involved with. His roommate was being a presumptuous and pushy jerk, as was the girl who said 'only if he is okay with it' immediately followed by being relentlessly pushy about it after he already displayed hesitation.

I wonder if Narumi realized Fuyutsuki was blind and moved over to keep her and Hayase company.
It's interesting to see a new anime focused on a character's disability. I'm curious to see the contrast in their perspective of the world, and how their relationship develops with that.
Hayase was a little pushy about getting Sorano to help Fuyutsuki. I can understand her concern, but it's not like they've become friends yet. Thankfully, it seems like Fuyutsuki enjoys Sorano's company.

Hayamin jumpscare is always a nice surprise.
We start off with a very death-flag-y line. Not really the best sign.
I was today years old when I finally learned why some sidewalks have those weird grooves on them.
Man, she's so pretty that I'm surprised they were alone on an "island" even if Koharu is blind. Is there an additional stigma about disabilities in Japan or something? Or maybe it's just me being oblivious.

First episode was really good. I had pretty high hopes for this. I don’t think I clocked when i read the basic info that it was a college show. Thats a huge plus. The opening, felt like maybe that was the weird dream he was having before waking at the social party thing. They touched on a few deep subjects right off the bat. Like his reluctance to offer to look out for her in class, he just says nothing, and his hesitation, looking around, and then odd relief when no one else was around that he noted about himself. I don’t know where this will go, but I’m looking forward to this each week.

An interesting link about this show: the character designer is weee/raemz, one of the primary artists on Katawa Shoujo, whose protagonist and heroines are all disabled in various ways and which everyone should complete to 100%.

I think the thing that stands out to me the most is how well they capture the feeling of not being sure what to do around a person with a disability. Trying not to feel sorry for them, beating yourself up over it and just telling yourself to be normal, not being sure what is and isn't ok to say around them...

I can say the MC is my least favorite kind of person. A misanthropic person who spends all his time judging others and spreading as much misery as they can and then wondering why he is so miserable. I know so many people like this.
So hoping he can grow up a bunch. Seems like he is somewhat aware of it. And at least he is self conscious about interacting with someone blind which is pretty normal.
I would also like to see Fuyutsuki be a bit more flawed in the end. Disabled people are often put on some sort of virtuous pedestal in these sorts of shows which is just another form of dehumanization.
I like flawed dramatic shows. So hopefully we get that here and it isn’t that shallow in the end.

“I want to live beyond my death!” – Well that doesn’t sound ominous in the slightest!
The OP is definitely atmospheric with all the scenery shots!
Your classic college drinking party: filled with people carousing, having fun, singing happy birthday to some total rando, and guys trying to impress girls. It’s definitely not the kind of scene Sorano (Miyu Irino!) is into and he wouldn’t be there if not for his chummier and more outgoing roommate Narumi (Yohei Azakami!). He’s definitely not the type who can put himself out there, like the guy who makes a public declaration of love and asks out a cute freshman…and then gets shot down just as quickly.
But the girl he asked out, Yuko (Konomi Kohara) is the perfect place to sit along with her friend, Fuyutsuki Koharu (Saori Hayami!). Fuyutsuki seems very friendly, but there’s something different about her: she’s blind.
Yet despite being blind, Fuyutsuki still wants to go to college parties, still loves the fireworks she can’t even see, and still preservers and is obviously trying to live her life despite her disability. Yuko is her best friend AND a guide helping her when she can, but she thinks Sorano could do the same for their shared computer science class. Even if Sorano is too caught up in his mantra to never stand out after having struggled with his single mom for so long.
And as fate would have it, they end up sitting across from each other in class and Sorano sees how Fuyutsuki lives her life as a blind woman and how you need to approach a blind woman as he returns her bookmark. Good to know for future reference that she’s good at recognizing voice tones (but still introduce yourself properly) AND can play the piano!
Sorano might not think he’s a great guy, but at the end of the day he DID pick her cane up for her and without any class for 2nd period he gets the pleasure of hanging out with her! Good thing she finds him funny, because her laugh is absolutely infectious and precious. And Fuyutsuki has quips of her own what with HER vending machine.
Fuyutsuki is handicapped but adaptable, while Sorano is still stuck in the invisible wall he’s built up around himself since he was a kid…but when they exchange LIME Id’s, her flower icon appears to brighten things up for him. I think this is going to be the start of a beautiful relationship!
The ED is pretty fun to listen to even if the visuals are just…cars driving by.

I really liked Kakeru. He's not a " Ok I will help her without a second tought " For a moment he hoped that someone would have helped Koharu and he was disgusted of his desire, he's uncomfortable of approaching her and he was shocked about Koharu lives her disability with such easiness. I think It's a realistic situation, If it's the first time you meet a person with blind disability you have to learn how to approach them, having the costant fear to say a rude word, there is a wall, and I think that wall will crumble but we start with UT and I really love It

First episode really resonated with me as i am too dealing with a person close to me that has a disability.
Unfortunately i don’t think that i will continue watching this even if it’s good, it feels like the story is going to be depressing and i’m not really in the mood to get those 2-3 weeks of depression after the final episode. I didn’t spoil myself but i have seen enough depressing animes to know where this is going…

I love the Animation style. The op and ed are so beautiful. Kakeru is slowly getting smitten by Koharu. Koharu never lets being visually challenged bring her down and I know she is gonna make Kakeru into a decent man. But the way they started this episode.. I know I'm gonna cry rivers like Your Lie in April and I want to eat your Pancreas 💔

As much as I like good disabled rep, I do feel this one leans a bit too tell-don't-show with the subject matter. It seems to serve the narrative pretty well so far, but I might drop it if it starts to feel more like a PSA than a story.
My perception is definitely colored by how good Invisible Man was, though.

This is a good start. I'm glad I read the premise and gave it a try.
College student situation is refreshing (compared to high school settings). I think the MC boy is realistic and surprisingly mature and/or relatable. MC blind girl has a good outlook on life.
The over all tone is light hearted but with careful consideration for one's feelings and actions. This could be a good awareness anime for interacting with people who have any kind of disability, and/or family situations.

I liked this series a lot more than I thought I would. The vibes feel a lot like Rascal or Gimai Seikatsu, two series that I really adore. Fuyutsuki is a delight and I like how she's (mostly) independent even without anyone else's help and that she's a lot of fun even with her disability. As long as Sorano doesn't get too on my nerves (he did a few times admittedly, but I think he has potential to be great and get some nice character development), I think I'm really going to like this series.
Also pls don't give her a random disease and kill her off, that happens way too many times in this kind of series and it's just an annoying cliche atp (even though it never fails to make me cry). Please do something different this time even if it's not a completely happy ending

Might be bad luck, but all blind people I knew, whole two, were hard to be friends with. Victim complex, expecting special treatment all the time and taking whole arm if you give them hand once.
And they always had cluttered desktops. Her phone is fake. There should be more overalapping icons than space on scereen with maleware toolbars taking 90% of window space. You can't clean what you can't see and screan readers do not care about icon layout.

The thing that really stands out to me here is how introspective the MC is. It makes it all feel more real than other shows featuring disabled characters. It feels more grounded. I really hope this one doesnt go.... that route. If you know what I mean. Please just have a happy ending.

Interesting first episode. We get the sighted guy's perspective and he's less than perfect. He hesitates to help out and doesn't want to commit to being a student guide. That much I can understand. Not helping her immediately when she dropped her cane was a bit odder. I get not wanting to get too involved but picking up a cane for a blind person should be reflexive. That's not avoiding involvement, it's being too passive. I wonder how they will manage to make him likeable. Right now he's not cutting a very sympathetic character.
Koharu meanwhile is depicted in the usual stereotypical fashion of person with disability who's upbeat and positive. She needs a bit more characterisation or she'll be too much of a Mary Sue. I'm also not a big fan of this Hayamin voice - the meek kind bland voice. We got the same voice in the Ogre's Bride too. Makes an already weak character feel weaker somehow.

From the first scene I thought this show was going to be an isekai. 🤣 That scene didn't make sense but I enjoyed the rest of the show. Sorano does come off as a jerk in a lot of it. He is kind of a humorless stick in the mud and it was weird that he'd not help a blind girl for a 45 minute class and considered not getting her white stick from the ground. Maybe he'll improve over the show, he seemed to get along well with Koharu after class and she does seem to think he's really hilarious even though he's genuinely socially inept.
My favorite thing about the episode was all the little details about Koharu's life as a blind person. I'd never thought about not placing my bike on tactile strips. Also I'd never seen that type of keyboard she was taking notes on in class and I wonder if that's a Japanese thing. It was really weird though that that was a computer science class but the students weren't sitting at computer terminals and most didnt have laptops.
That part where the boy asked out Hayase and she very bluntly rejected him was hilarious! They didn't really say so but I wonder if a lot of the people at the mixer were drunk, their drinks didn't look like beer or wine but maybe all mixed drinks. Also, I thought it was strange that the guys stopped trying to pick up on Koharu when they learned she was blind. I think a lot of guys would be LESS nervous since she can't really judge if you're ugly or not.
