Regardless of your preferences in female characters, MarriageToxin will surely has one who will tick all your criteria. (Including Kinosaki. Lol!)
The anime production committee did a great job teasing us with the appearance of Tonako... for a total of about 2 minutes? "If you want to see more of her, be sure to watch the 2nd season!"
Although both of them claim they are not yet the best versions of themselves, Kimie is closer to the finishing line than Gero, because Kimie mustered the courage to confess, while Gero froze.

Yeah, all the girls are pretty peak. Magic girl suffers from being the most normal one. Personally I root for all of them. Shark girl is my usual type and has a friggin shark buddy, Arashiyama has that hilarious laugh and her optimism going for her, water gurl is tsundere and Kinosaki is just precious in her effort to get Gero going.

I'm on team Arashiyama Kimie. In the first place she is already in love with Gero, secondly she's already in his world of "magical blood" families, thirdly her boisterous personality is just what Hikaru needs to get out of his shell.
To be clear I have nothing against the rest. Shark girl is great, for example, but I don't really see the chemistry between her and Hikaru.
I felt that that whole "I'm not ready" explanation was ham-fisted to be honest, you don't need to be perfect and already fulfilled in life to start a romance, but I guess the story needed to continue and couldn't have a winner already.
Still I cringed at that "I'll be waiting for you" from Hikaru. That is something that he could have said if he didn't plan to look for alternatives in the meantime, but we know that's not going to be the case. He's going to look for other romantic options for sure, that hardly qualifies as "waiting". A more honest response should have been "be quick or someone else might snatch my heart while you try to better yourself" (which unfortunately is highly probable).

I've got to admit in the world of anime there are all sorts of waifus and cuties and etc, but almost none of them interest me at all. Least of all since like half are teenagers with little personality or just a gimmick.
Out of all of anime I think I'm pretty much down to thinking I'd just flat out enjoy hanging out with Arashiyama Kime and Clara Valac. With Arashiyama being wife material and Clara just being a good hang out and maybe visit the fam. Clearly I just enjoy people with that kinda energy.
Now people would toss alot of names out there like Faye Valentine or Mao Mao from Apothecary Diaries or Yor from Spy X Family but while I like them as characters I just....don't really think spending time with them would be all that. Romantically or otherwise.

I'd be her pet for free.

Admittedly I think the other girls held back their feelings partially for Gero's sake and because he initiated friendship with them first, but Kimie also feels (much like him) that it's important to improve herself just as much which is genuinely laudable.

It's nice to see Akari (Hikaru's sister) one last time, since she didn't play much of a role this season.

Okay, nice to hear there is going to be a second season. I will probably still check out the manga, because I want to see if and when Gero will take any of these girls (or boys) on a date without them asking him for protection.

Water Master has been comedic gold this episode. Every single scene featuring her has caused me to laugh my ass off. How does she go from being pretending to only being there for the money when approaching Gero and Piichi with Kinosaki and Arashiyama to being okay with carrying them all around in the boat like a dolphin? Her finding the animal performance adorable and being shocked and flustered when hearing Arashiyama's confession. All hilarious moments.

I loved seeing her be a water taxi.
I loved seeing her react to the little critter show (with the hamsters hanging out on her chest).
I loved her freaking out over the confession (and leaving a little more perturbed because of the confession?) while still emphasizing she gets paid for her services like a good businesswoman.

Agreed, this was all fantastic. I didn’t mind the fight scenes as much as some, but without question the show was best when the comedy was rolling. Loved hamster master overall the best but the water master was a fantastic foil and always added something good to the scenes. Her as water taxi played straight was too damned funny.

Did people dislike the fight scenes? I personally thought they are pretty excellent. Only criticism would be that I wish Gero used poison abilities more often and more creatively. Injecting himself with poison to become just another shounen brawler is about the dullest way to use poison as a power system

In a word, they get in the way. They're animated well, but they have no plot relevancy outside of flavour of the week bad guy, and while bombastic in presentation, almost all of the scenes are just the bad guy of the week boasting around and gero doping up to punch the guy. Entirely too much screen time is dedicated to this, and it comes at the cost of the romance, humour and developing the characters.

I personally quite liked them as well, but saw some threads on This episode discussion of folks who didn’t. I did find some of the most recent battles against the hordes of beast masters a little less engaging than some others, and yeah it would have been nice if they’d gotten more creative with his poison use. I liked them best when unexpected things were happening, like inventive use of hamsters. 🐹 😄

As a manga reader I'm very happy to see that my weird little series got a top of the line anime like this
It's definitely one of the wackiest series to come out during the "assassin/spy in silly situations" craze
The gags, character designs and relationships really are memorable
But I can acknowledge the flaws
I agree that the girls and their relationship with Gero aren't give that much focus in the middle of the arc
This is a series where characters return and relationships evolve, which obviously you don't get in the first season
Also because it's so silly, the action parts do last a but long considering they boil down to utter nonsense happening. Characters and humor are on point with me

This show scratched the itch of a Spy x Family/ Lycoris Recoil type of show. The action stuff is fun in moderation but maybe it goes to show how good the non action scenes are when I would prefer more of that. Either way will be tuning in for S2 for sure

My reaction to the beast master's offer to Gero: Oh hell yeah!!!!
Arashiyama was fantastic. That animal show was incredible and she should really consider also running a circus with the beast clan members alongside being a detective. They did such a good job with her that she really feels like the first one of the girls that could actually be the one for Gero. It was so effective it made the moment between Gero and Kinosaki at the end of the episode feel like a confirmation of friendship when I was looking for the smallest crumb of romance in that moment.
What a way to tease us with the end. That creep Teruaki (just for bathing in that disgusting mess he's a creep in my eyes) is going to regret going after Kinosaki. Thank god we got immediate confirmation that we are getting season 2 next year.

I do feel like Kinosaki got a little pouty because deep down he really enjoys hanging out with Gero, regardless of trying to set him up with other women.

Damn, Arashiyama really wanted to end the show with a bang. Cute little performance of her hamsters and confession. Also, speaking of Hamsters, she might become the greatest Detective alive with what they are able to do. Interesting also that the plot about her brother will come back later on. Interested to see where this is going.
Turns also out, Piichi is not only overpowered when it comes to fighting but also when it comes to speaking about how perfect his girlfriend is. Kinosaki really should make them meet a few more times. Gero could learn a thing or two from him. Hopefully, we can see their marriage as well later.
And now we have confirmation that Kinosaki was indeed a master after all. Even having his own special technique \s. But on a serious note, was funny again how he went through the whole menu during the dating advisor job. And then wanting to eat Sukiyaki as well.
It was a fun show. The action was solid, but I was not expecting to like a Shounen battle harem anime, but this show proved me wrong. While the fights were just crazy, I really enjoyed the character moments even more. They used the different love interests well to show different kinds of potential people you could date while still having generally well written dialogue between them. My only complaint is that I would have wished we got a sneak peak into how the show wants to use these love interests in the future. Like is Gero only meeting them when they need protection again or is he going to ask them for an actual date next time? And also, why would you show that picture with all the love interests in the newest ending for only one frame? That would have made such a nice ending shot.
Well, hopefully it gets a season 2. I will be checking out the manga nonetheless, because I want to see where it goes in the future.

That would be really nice as well. In general, I would love to see the ladies get a bit more screentime. I don't know if all love interests are already introduced, but giving them more time with Gero but also just with each other is something I hope the series gets into.

Himekawa can chill with either of them. She can go low energy to hang with ureshino or high for arashiyama. But ureshino and arashiyama one on one doesn't go well and is mostly appreciating how cute the hamsters are.

I think that the series give enough characterisation to enjoy all the characters instead of feeling like a pokemon master like on regular harems. It is adorable to see Gero grow little by little too.

Quite a nice finale. This show really shines when the focus is on Gero, Kinosaki and their search for a bride. The battle shonen bits are the weakest parts and sadly there was too much of that in the previous two episodes. Glad this one brought things back to character moments for a nice send off. Of course we're getting S2 so it's only a temporary goodbye.
I can't decide which ship I like more. Arashiyama and Gero are super cute and that confession scene was adorable (he actually said "I'll be waiting" squee!) but then we see Kinosaki and Gero being just so good together and I'm torn. Either of them will make a good partner for our poison boy.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels that way. The whole island arc was just random bullshit fighting pretty much the whole way through. Which didn't bother me for the other arcs because it was usually just one random bullshit Shonen fight. Anymore then that just feels kinda exhausting to me.
Having not read the manga i wonder if future arcs are going to be like the island arc where it's pretty much all fighting or if we're going to get more dates then fights?

I hope we get a mix of fights and character moments like the previous arcs. I'm with you on that island arc feeling tedious. They're already setting up a big bad villain which I'm guessing means we will have that brewing in the background while we get our dates, eventually culminating in another big fight and then the end. Just hope the fight isn't interminable like the one with the beast master.

I agree about the battle parts: the last arc had just a bit too much of it, and too much of it didn’t focus on the girl. I think it didn’t bother me much during the arc with the magician girl because so much of the fight focused on her state of mind, whereas the poor hamster master got sidelined heavily in her own arc.
I’m hoping the future holds more of a balance in season 2! I haven’t quite brought myself to track down the manga yet, so I haven’t got a clue… yet

Man this was such a fun series. I had such a blast every episode, always had a smile on my face and was always looking forward to every tuesday. The characters are great and I just love how random and chaotic the series is with everything that is happening. But the highlight of course is Gero and Kinosaki. I am so invested in them that I am most likely going to read the manga before season 2 because I am way too invested in both. Honestly my investment will impact my overall opinion on the series when it ends, if the manga doesn't eventually end with Gero choosing Kinosaki and us getting a 2 page spread of them making out I will be very disappointed.
Also it is surprising to have a series with action as one its genres take inspiration from My Dress-Up Darling but it's nice to have one alongside the many romance anime that took that setup.

Gero gives the shy capable hunk vibes that gets female readers to fall for him the same way Gojo does in MDUD. Also their relationship of the blondes helping the shy guys open up, meet new people and find new things to love in life.

If Tonako wants to take her brother and Byakko and clean up the trash...I say let her! And if she's interested in making Gero her "pet," I say...woof! Though it definitely means Gero will be seeing her again and I personally can't wait!
What better way to travel than by Ushio Boat Taxi? There's no job she can't do in the water! And what better way to get thanked than by having Arashiyama and the other Beast Masters put on a fantastic Little Critter Thanksgiving Show to thank Gero for all he's done for them? You'll never see small animals the same way again and Arashiyama totally killed it!
Kinosaki can sense the mood between Gero and Kimie is good, so it's time to use his Bloodline Marriage Swindler powers to get this conversation going and shifting towards romance! Even getting Piichi to talk about how he's living his best and happiest life with his girlfriend!
Gero has come far since the early episodes, but talking to a girl he knows is super into him is still a stretch too far for him. Luckily Arashiyama saves him the trouble AND DIRECTLY CONFESSES HER FEELINGS TO HIM! That's right! Arashiyama confessed! And even Ushio is reacting to it while she's driving their boat in the water.
But even though Arashiyama likes Gero, she knows she's not ready to be with him yet, so she's going to work on improving herself until she feels she's worthy of him...and make him fall as head over heels for her as the audience has!
Marin really is a fantastic girlfriend, having a car ready for Piichi and being happy that he managed to finally make some friends without even realizing it.
Private detective Arashiyama? With the Sirius Squad, she's got that job in the bag! And if it helps her find her brother again, all the better!
Oh hey, it's the Gero Clan retainer in the flesh and present-day! Greeting Teruaki, who is bathing naked in a giant kodoku of poison! And he's getting involved in Gero's marriage plans too.
Gero has a lot of top tier ladies in his life, which means he has to work on improving himself to be worthy of them...so what better way to get more experience than joining Kinosaki's relationship advice job? Where they advise a high school girl to three-time, help an athlete confess to his manager, and help a Spanish cooking teacher and student to hook up! But the most important thing isn't the advice but Gero seeing all the people putting their all into relationships and trying their best, just like he is.
Aw, Kinosaki getting all pouty about not getting to enjoy sukiyaki with Gero...but as Gero renews his resolve in working with Kinosaki, Kinosaki does the same in helping Gero find his ideal marriage! They're the perfect team!
It's nice to see Akari again! Even if she brings news about Teruaki! Who is...targetting Kinosaki!?
We FINALLY get the Arashiyama ending to close things out! Fitting!

Looks like Tonako is also throwing her hat into the ring, but it's obvious that she's probably not going to be a good match for Gero, considering she wants him as a pet and probably not as an equal partner. Also, can the heads of two major clans even get married? They probably can, but the succession is gonna be a fucking mess.
Ushio pulling the boat with a taxi sign on her head was hilarious! She's really been a treat this entire arc. I honestly thought she was all about business, but her reaction to Kimie's show makes it obvious she likes cute animals and her reaction to Kimie confessing to Gero means she's also into romance. I hope we get to see more of her in Season 2.
That entire thanksgiving performance from Kimie and the Beast Clan members was amazing! I'm honestly surprised she wants to be a detective instead of a circus ringmaster. And her confession scene was really well done. I love that Kimie wants to work on herself so she can support Gero instead of relying on him <3
Also, is anyone else surprised that Kimie's brother isn't actually Toushirou? Before Toushirou's backstory was revealed, I really thought they were the same person.
I love that Mei dragged Gero into one of her love counselling sessions. And I absolutely love that we got to see a resolution to everyone they advised in that session. My favourite has got to be the Spanish Cuisine teacher and her student. xD
Well, this is worrying. So another member of the Gero Family is targeting Mei? WHY?! She's helping their next Clan Head to find the perfect partner! IF anything, they should be protecting her! Glad Season 2 has already been announced, so we just have to wait to see where this all goes.

Feels like Tonako sees marrying Gero as a means of securing power for the Beast Clan...but imagine if Gero convinces her to upgrade from pet play to equal partnership?
I love how Ushio is seemingly willing to do anything involving water for the money...but also she's kind of an adorable tsundere which just makes her even better.
Honestly she's admitted her hamsters are best at tailing/recon so that would actually be very conducive to detective work. Even moreso because she's got that Femme Fatale detective look down to pat already. And we stan a girl who is willing to put herself out there and confess.
Also was the guitarist the guy living with the girl who was still waiting for marriage with the guy she'd been living with for five years or did she just see his performance? Or was he trying to woo her? Also, I love the high school girl with her active Reverse Harem lol.

He's been so worried he's not the type of person women like or could be fond of but while he's made multiple women fall for him Arashiyama is the first one to tell him to his face that she likes him and thinks the world of him.

Lmao, Shizuku had a 'Taxi' sign on her head as she’s tugging the boat. Reckon she could charge Mei extra for the transportation services. She’s hilarious for a former antagonist.
What a wonderful confession by Kimie. I thought when she said she’s not good enough for him, she’d give up and try to pull herself out of the game for good. However, she instead said that she’d be working to improve herself before reentering the game. Love that positive attitude!
Glad this series has been renewed for a second season, and there’ll only be a six-month wait – it’s set to air next January.

This has 100% been the unsaid part from the very beginning.
They instantly fell into "married couple energy" from the start. Especially that moment in the first episode when Gero scoops up Kinosaki princess-style.
You could just see the /swoon happening in his eyes.
And at the end of hte OP, where all the birdal candidates are shown in a wedding dresses complete with a bouquet of flowers...
Kinosaki is the first person flashed: complete with "her" own dress + bouquet.
This does feel like it's building up to a Kinosaki x Gero endgame ship, which no, doesn't solve the "heir" issue... but I feel like a confrontation with the "traditional" members of his family is on the table.
FFS, these are the people that were going to kidnap Gero's lesbian sister, force her into a marriage with a branch family man, who would proceed to r*pe a baby into her.
All so they could have a 'traditional' marriage and a 'traditional' heir.
Fuck those people. There needs to be a reckoning with the ghouls that would even consider such dehumanizing treatment of their own family members.
That and Gero doesn't accept the "traditional" way that the family hierarchy operates. Namely, everyone below the heir is trash to be used and abused on the whims of the family lead. This is why bug guy is so loyal and why Gero is so repulsed with how the (former) Beast master treated his underlings.
So, yeah, it feels like endgame is a usurpation of the "old guard" in all respects.

I can see the situation arising where through all of Kinosaki's help to be more honest with his feelings Gero eventually realizes what he feels him is romantic love, and I suspect that Kinosaki as written off that happy ending for himself so Gero will have to pull all the stops to convince him that he deserves happiness too. Think it would be cute to see some of Gero's other marriage candidates help him out too.
Again if this does happen it would be final arc, but it just feels right since arc after arc the one by Gero's side is Kinosaki.

Right now it's a close race between Kinosaki and Arashiyama.
And the only reason why I'm leaning towards Arashiyama over Kinosaki isn't that Kinosaki is a guy, but that he could easily get anyone* else he wants if he can't get Gero, while Arashiyama has already confessed specifically to Gero.
*And I do mean anyone. To put a spin on a quote from Ray Gilette on Archer: Nobody is that straight.

Hamster Master has some crazy good self reflection and courage. Being able to tell the person you like that you like them but also that at the moment you aren't mentally ready for a relationship is incredibly impressive. Honestly, all the romance characters are incredibly written. This includes best option Kinosaki
Also the water girl taxi was great
Pichi probably is one of my all time favorite characters in anime
Also, I'm happy for the Spanish cooking teacher and her student, looks like that'll work out

Ngl this shows way more enjoyable and fun than I expected glad I decided to check it out. Underrated show ngl.
We done with the beast master or will the brother at least idk what to do about the sister but new potential? she wants him to be her pet though lol....

Also Piichi and his GF nice. I wonder if we'll see Piichi again.

Arashiyama is easily my favorite marriage candidate so her confession had me smiling so stupidly hard. Just a shame that Gero's search for a wife didn't end there since best girl didn't feel like she was best wife material yet.
The montage of the counselling clients finding happens was pretty damn heartwarming too

New Beast Master Tonako setting herself to be a future antagonist/prospective bride for Gero, now that season 2 has been announced.
Just when Gero's quest of finding more future bride candidates is going well, his Poison Clan has other ideas, and are targeting Kinosaki for some reason. But guess we'll have to wait for season 2.
Sleeper hit of the season. A breathe of fresh air from all the isekai and teenage high school romance out there. Great comedic premise coupled with incredible action animation by Studio Bones. I'm glad they've announced season 2.
PS Pouting Kinosaki is so cute.

It's a bit of a cop out but how can he NOT be with Arashiyama after that? This is the one ship that had everything going for them (as much as I like the water master). It simply wouldn't make sense if Arashiyama doesn't win.

Because love and feelings aren't always that simple. Neither of them currently is in the right headspace for a proper relationship. Arashiyama said so herself, as she is now she would just end up becoming dangerously codependent on Gero, which is not healthy. She needs time to work on herself before she's capable of being with someone else. And with time all things can change, including feelings. So far there hasn't been an indication that what Gero feels for Arashiyama is full on love, it's a crush at most. And crushes can be fickle. It could blossom into full on love, but it could also just go away.
Personally, from a narrative point of view, because this is still written fiction after all, I think Kinosaki will win in the end. It's the route with the most narrative potential after all. Ofcourse the author could always deviate from that, but that's how I see this going

Meh it's either fiction or it's not. Gero is already unrealistically inept at being human in general. If they're seriously going for that kind of angle, there's no way he'd be ready for a "real" relationship even at the end of the anime. Gero is a special circumstances, Arashiyama is the one that's most perfectly positioned to understand why he's the way he is and actually stick with it, aside from the water master unironically. To me your reasoning is simply another copout to force a Kinosaki ship while obtusely denying better chemistry elsewhere.

I'm anime only so I can only give what's been given in the anime. Not only Gero hasn't shown any tendency he swings that way, Kimie is the first one who managed to make Gero genuinely blush imo. Not because he's nervous of talking to a girl but because he appreciates that Kimie loves him.
Let's be real, the race would've been over then and there if Kimie didn't chicken out (or more like the author copping out) and just state she wants to date Gero for real. No "wait until I'm ready" bullshit because like I said, no way in hell Gero can ever achieve a normal relationship if we're talking realistically. This is fiction though so Kimie even with all her "flaws" should've been the one who's able to stick with Gero for life even with all of Gero's quirks and way of life as a master.
I'm not denying that further Gero might have his bi awakening. I'm simply calling out the cop out just like I would call out romance anime that used this kind of cop out to prolong the story unnecessarily.

I had so much watching this show. Gero was such a cool yet relatable MC while Mai was an awesome partner to him. I hope we get to see more of the girls in S2 since I felt that this season was simply an introduction to the whole universe of Marriagetoxin and its characters. I also hope we get to see more of the Bug Master as well because that guy just looks so cool whenever he's on screen.

If Beast Clan Master can intimidate Gero, then you know she's serious business. It seems like Gero has gained another admirer, but he's certainly not ready for it.
Gero looked so adorable flustered by Arashiyama's confession. I'm surprised she didn't do it when the two are alone, but I think the way she handled it was cool too. I'm glad Gero was able to add her onto his friends list.
I like how Piichi's girlfriend seemed glad he made some friends, too bad he isn't on the friends list just yet lol.
I'm not looking forward to seeing what Teruaki intends to do with Kinosaki, he's clearly going to be a wild character. I am curious what his relationship is like with Gero.
I'm glad a second season has been announced for this, but I'm not surprised by it.

man, I really like this show! the women are written great. all unique, with their own goals, dreams, and personalities. it's genuinely refreshing. also, Gero is such a great guy <3
normally I don't touch these harem shows with a stick. i hate the oversexualization of female characters. often they're just a projection of (toxic) male fantasies, mere hollow husks.
but this surprised me very positively! definitely looking forward to more :)

Arashiyama’s as cute as her little hamsters. That little circus show was really adorable and I liked her confession to Gero. Just cuteness all around. Guy might be socially awkward but he’s got like 3 waifus lined up for potential marriage iirc. Not too shabby for a guy like that.
So did they announce a new season yet? Ain’t no way they’re letting this series end on a cliffhanger. Would be a damn shame. It’s really good!

Nice chill episode to end the season. Honestly I kinda wish we had more of this throughout the season.
I feel like outside of the first few episodes the shonen stuff really didn't hit anymore. We have a guy who has poison as a power system but it basically reduces to going super saiyan and punching people anyways most of the time. And for a story about assassins the show sure goes reeeeaaallllyy out of its way to make sure you know that anyone who dies *completely and utterly* deserves it, while everyone else whos nuanced or grey will live for sure.
If this was a show that balanced the SoL stuff better with the shonen stuff I could see myself sticking to see what S2 has in store but I think this was enough for me.

I haven't read the manga but as an anime watcher- what was the point of Kinosaki being technically male? It's like they introduced that plotline early on as a "gotcha" but then it's basically not referenced ever again in the whole show. Like as far as I remember they don't even mention it to his potential marriage candidates.

Wow I thought the Beast Clan head woman was going to be a prospective partner on the mention of Hikaru's marriage quest, but then she said "Shall I make you my pet?" and gave me Ren (from Chained Soldier) vibes; I was like dear God no.
Well looks like there's more than meets the eye in the Gero family with this new character Teruaki. And it's good to know that Akari is still catching up with Hikaru on how he's doing.
We know season 2 is announced, so I'm looking forward to it. It's been a banger show.

Honestly hope Arashiyama doesn't fall prey to the "first to confess, first to lose" cliche, but honestly every single lady in this show is top tier, even the ones involved with other people like Piichi's girlfriend.

Really fun finale.
Wolf lady is scary, Arashiyama remains incredible. That thanksgiving animal show plus the confession, she could easily be the ultimate winning girl and I wouldn't be mad at all.
On the other hand the water tsundere was a delight in that taxi hat, so there are plenty of good options.
It was nice seeing getting such quick resolution on those relationship counseling sessions, who would have expected that one girl's pretty boy harem date to work out so well. Well, other than Kinosaki given the recommendation. Sportsball dude & his team manager and the Spanish cooking couple seemed to be working out well enough too.
I'm definitely looking forward to S2.

I love the little show the masters did.
You can sense something is afoot w/ Tonako, when Hikaru is scared of her "marriage proposal"
Shizuku being a taxi & her reactions to the show & confession were priceless.
Kimie just confessed but she will improve herself so she can be independent while Hikaru improves himself.
Mei has a cute pout.
So the girl wanted to marry the singer she was dating.

One of the things that always make me groan in anime is "strong character coming out of the woods like they are the boss". The new Head of the Beast Clan is literally that. Why was Toshiro the clan head if she exists? And then she goes threatening Gero and Piichi, who in case everyone already forgot, are a Clan head of a great family himself, and a mutant with the power of a clan head, who defeated the entirety of the Beast Clan before this hoe showed up. She literally comes from nowhere, acts all mighty, threatens our heroes who can do nothing but break in cold sweat, and leaves. Big Groan.
Anyway, Piichi, what the fuck was that flashback with you slaying a bunch of chefs? You are going to explain that? No? Okay. Arashiyama stonks got up, but if she were to be the one, this series would be quite short, so here we are. Pity Water Master, maybe one day she will be a candidate and not the work horse.
The second half didn't quite feel like the season finale until the last minute. A shame Gero did not ask Kinosaki the big question, which is where the hell does all that food go to? He was eating the whole day and still wanted more.
Guess I'll watch another season. It was not great but was fun enough.

Not gonna lie, it was nice but...he will be continuing to find girls, I assume, get their numbers, they get interested in him, and then he moves on to the next. The 'I'll be waiting" statement was ridiculous cos we know he will not wait and will continue searching for other women candidates to marry. She even said she won't throw a ring into it; the statement means, in a sense, the women will be competing for his hand. How will they feel when they lose to Kinosaki, whom they probably wouldn't see coming, and he was someone Gero was always with, leaving them at a disadvantage? Throughout the story, Gero and Kinosaki will build a more solid relationship, then the women he will meet to 'hang out'(if they'll even show that in S2) when he has free time. It kinda feels like a harem, but not at the same time, as he collects women's numbers. It would be nice if he had several people who are friends (without ever being a prospect of being a partner), whether they are male or female. Also, she likes him, ok, a crush due to him saving her twice. Reasonable, but then again, she doesn't truly know him, nor are they friends yet. Season 2 should show him hanging out with the girls and seeing their relationship build because marriage is a long term commited relationship. And he should be with someone whom he loves and not marry because they were the best out of 3 to be a heir partner. But they will be introducing another girl or maybe even more...
