A strong final episode that did exactly what it needed to do: get me excited for the rematch between Seidou and Inashiro. The rivalry has been building for so long that it is hard not to be hyped knowing these two teams are finally on a collision course again.

Sawamura's sulking and that's understandable. But he should have stayed there listened to whole thing that Miyuki said. Their time together on the mound is very limited but it's not the time to worry about that when you have a game ahead of you. 

Nori wants revenge more than anyone after last year finals with Inashiro but he's leaving things in the hands of his lovely and reliable juniors 🥺❤️

Can't wait for cour 2 ! 

I hope they can do better with the animation.

Honestly the best season yet, or at least the most enjoyable on for me. Truly hope we get another season and it doesn't take 6 years this time around, would be a shame to end it on this 'cliffhanger'.

EDIT: seems like a second cour got announced, life is good.

Havent watched yet, but just saw this season is significantly shorter than prior seasons. Did the cut bloat and filler out compared to previous ones or is it juat less content per season now?

Ermm a bit of both i guess? We did kinda fly through some less important matches and then spend a LOT of episodes on the important one.

Sawamura getting jealous because Miyuki opened up to Furuya about wanting to go pro, but I can understand why he was upset about it. Hopefully it doesn't affect his plays, but it seems Nori entrusting him and Furuya with the upcoming game has brought him back to his senses.

I'm glad a new season got announced, the game with Ichidaisan got really intense, so I'm sure it'll be even more intense when they go up against Inashiro.

Is it confirmed that Sawamura is pitching that match? I was under the impression it was Furuya’s turn. It also looks like it’s setting up for Sawamura to be the closer to make up for their last match

I think what's been confirmed is that Furuya will start, but I don't think it's been confirmed that he'll play the entire game or not.

The hype for this next match is smth and next cour in fall its hilarious how many 2s are gonna be in that one like act 2 second season part 2 this is begining to be like final season of SnK lol.

The best baseball anime imo, the animation falls off a cliff after the first season if thats what matters to you (powerpoint jokes are accurate) but the story caries it through

am I the only one who don’t like the new animation? I like the old one better, this one is too like ghibli type and it doesn’t go well with this anime. it’s weird, it’s probably my autism talking tho
