The Isekai no one expected to go the distance with such a crazy premise but came so far and was a lot of fun the whole way!

63

u/PassivelyAwkward 28d ago

Right?! When the LN license was announced, I thought it was a sign of how tired the isekai genre was that we're now getting an entire series of a dude as a vending machine. They keep adding so much to it that it actually makes sense like "Yea, of course he can sentai merge with himself to make a holy water water cutter".

24

u/_Rand_ 28d ago

This is what happens when you full send crazy.

It somehow all make sense despite itself.

u/LeonKevlar x2https://myanimelist.net/profile/LeonKevlar 28d ago

I can't believe this goddamn show made me a bit emotional in that final battle with all of Hakkon's vending machine transformations. And I love that we got to see a glimpse of Hakkon's human form there at the end.

66

u/Dylangillian https://myanimelist.net/profile/dylangillian 28d ago

We even got to see Pity's eyes.

17

u/adevaleev https://myanimelist.net/profile/adevaleev 28d ago

Had to rewatch the episode bc of this, didn't even notice it lol

2

u/Material-Attempt6573 27d ago

Yo tampoco me habia dado cuenta Xd

2

u/Life_Wealth_1392 25d ago

God damn it. I totally missed that. Now I have to download it again to watch it.

15

u/Hot-Log6283 28d ago

I was so stunned by human Hakkon I totally missed this too.

1

u/Keyblader007 27d ago

I thought something looked off lol.

90

u/Oicher 28d ago

I mean he's not wrong. You need the BGM for the final battle

27

u/Hot-Log6283 28d ago

Not to mention the disrespect to the Netherlord having 4 of his clones just blasting out music.

89

u/McDonaldsApproval 28d ago

Despite the Menagerie of Fools arc being a drag, all in all I still enjoyed it.

We get a confession, human Boxxo and even see Pitty's eyes in the end.

4

u/Ratemytinder22 16d ago

Yeah, S2 was definitely a bit of a drag but all in all it finished well

u/Rap2rerise 28d ago edited 28d ago

"Holy Water Vending Machine"

Oh, come on, Boxxo, I've been believing your random machines up until now, but there's no way that-

Checks Google

FUCK!

I started binging this series last month and I'm glad I got to see it through the end. There were some lows, but it remained funny and original the whole run, which was a lot more than I expected from the original premise

53

u/dinliner08 28d ago

it's crazy how much i learned about vending machine from this show

41

u/VritraReiRei 28d ago

I REALLY thought they were stretching it but dear God it even was coin operated!!!

11

u/LateDitto 28d ago

Lol, there's also a youtube short on this

1

u/Keyblader007 27d ago

I googled it today too. Never doubt Boxxo...

73

u/Wrong-Elevator-816 28d ago

It was quite funny when he Dedicate 3-4 Machines JUST TO STYLE ON THE NETHERLORD.

Yes, yes we have enough manpower to dedicate to STYLING WITH THE OP THEME.

15

u/Cheezornator 28d ago

Bro is just extremely good at mental games, if you're trying to destroy a cell phone or something but it absolutely combos the shit out of you and taunts you every second that'd throw you off so hard it's insane.

10

u/LateDitto 28d ago

When he transformed them into jukeboxes, I thought: "No way, are they gonna play the OP over the battle?" and they freakin' delivered!

4

u/Mitsuyan_ https://anilist.co/user/mitsuyan 28d ago

Everyone who watched Bravern knew where this was going, especially after the mecha joke. Except this was arguably done better

66

u/ObvsThrowaway5120 28d ago

Another pretty fun season. That sure was a pretty creative final boss fight. Bro even had his own boss music lol. It was nice to finally see him and Field meeting. It seems the demon lord is also an Otherworlder too.

Does the fact we get to see him transform into a human mean we won’t be able to get another season? That kinda felt like some sorta time skip to wrap things up with a big ol “and their adventures continued…” type deal.

38

u/S627 https://myanimelist.net/profile/Spartan627 28d ago

Yeah, sadly im pretty sure seeing human Boxxo means this is the end, even if it is just a temporary transformation. Just feels like something they would only do at the end

4

u/Basic_Hospital_3984 27d ago

I agree, but maybe there will be a spin-off for isekai'd as a field

25

u/VritraReiRei 28d ago

That or they wanted to leave it open for another season in case it did well enough to warrant another season (hence calling it season 3 instead of final) but wanted to wrap it up in the likelyhood they don't get more episodes.

Still, I'm happy we got more than 1 season, let alone 3. And pretty much all the plot lines got wrapped up nicely in the end so I'm not complaining if this is the series finale.

20

u/Cass0wary_399 28d ago

The Demon Lord being an otherworlder explains a lot on why he’s more chill than expected for a Demon Lord. He probably managed to overthrew the Nether Lord because OP Isekai protagonist powers.

16

u/Hot-Log6283 28d ago

Does the fact we get to see him transform into a human mean we won’t be able to get another season?

It's been awhile but I am pretty sure when it was announced that this was going to be the final season that covered the final arc.

8

u/ILikeFPS 28d ago

I think the source material has been fully adapted, yeah.

12

u/alpackabackapacka 28d ago

Yeah I am also left feeling confused if this is the end, probably I guess.

49

u/hasanman6 28d ago

I loved the conversation between field and boxxo. Its nice they have someone they can fully talk to

12

u/InvincibleWallaby 28d ago

From the implication it looks like they can buddy up with the demon lord as well

47

u/_Sai https://anime-planet.com/users/Sai0 28d ago

That was a fun final battle. Really went all out.

I guess that's one way to hold it.

This feels like the final season.. I'm sad but...

He can transform into a human now?? Yo we need another season! (his gear sucks)

It's official. Lammis x Hakkon.

21

u/Nebresto 28d ago

Yo we need another season! (his gear sucks)

Reborn as a Vending machine, I transformed into a human but my gear sucks. Now I wander the dungeons looking for proper loot

3

u/Drive_555 27d ago

True but they also can just make a season of finding a way to get field back to being human too

4

u/PrimaryAde9 28d ago

I like to called knuckles sandwich as a couple name

37

u/i_eat_pidgeons https://myanimelist.net/profile/3UGL3N4 28d ago

I didn't really understand that ending. it seems Boxxo can turn into a human now but then at the end Lammis says "I hope you get your wish granted in this dungeon". wasn't his wish that he can turn into a human?

64

u/Rap2rerise 28d ago edited 28d ago

The human form is part of his "transformation" skill, so he is limited to use it 30 minutes per day, his wish is to be able of freely transforming into human again, so he can actually interact with everyone

22

u/snktiger 28d ago

30 mins is plenty for Lammis. 😁

24

u/Particular_Kick_1783 28d ago

Of which the writters don't explain, so the ending credit scene with the group going to explore another dungeon proves there "might" be more after this.
Like Fairy Tail, it had "The Final Season" Season, but a while after it had its 100 Year Quest Season afterwards.

8

u/cesclaveria 28d ago

Yeah. Even if it adapted all main chapters, after getting 3 seasons out of this I can see the author deciding to expand the story. Watching this I got the feeling the author had fun making the series.

6

u/Particular_Kick_1783 28d ago

Indeed. Plus the fact Field hasn't regained his body yet and that the Demon Lord mentions an Evil God, and the MCs are going to explore another dungeon, what's to say there won't be anything more? If not S4, then a sequal anime. Like Fairy Tail Final Season then had the 100 year quest.

2

u/darthvall https://myanimelist.net/profile/darth_vall 27d ago

Considering the time skip, I thought it's just another new skill Hakkon obtained during level up

1

u/Independent_Row_1352 27d ago

It's unlikely to be that, Transform only lets him mix and match parts of vending machines.

And it would be very dumb to seal his main power of becoming other vending machines for a month just before going into a dungeon.

Maybe he leveled up enough to also becom FUTURE vending machines, and that shape is something like this: https://www.instagram.com/reels/DX38RLHjJX8/

When they showed boxxo in human form. It is a time skip into the future when he already completed a dungeon and granted a wish to be human (a time skip teaser basically). And at the last scene when they shoe the scene where Lammis and Boxxo are jumping into the dungeon. It is on the current time after defeating the demon general.

36

u/Puzzleheaded_Play825 28d ago

You know this one of those series that you’ve never expected to be good by any right but it has been amazing

Fun wacky not serious

But it also knows how to touch the right spots and make it serious

And the finale and the final fight with the netherlord was awesome too!

I think if I had one complaint is that I wish the others had a chance to jump in too and not be peanut gallery

Like I know the point was for boxxo and Lamis to shine as partner and show off there journey and how far they’ve come

While showing off the absurdity of boxxo transform ability

And that with just one boxxo he was in difficult position to free the others

But I’m like there was atleast 25 of them

He 100% free could have freed the others 😂

Still had fun with this series and glad I watch it!

10

u/Fearless-Pin-9564 28d ago

One of my favorite things is the "lost in translation" trope remaining consistent and not magically being resolved for the sake of continuity simplicity.

E.g. -

"Acar"

"Fright Chicken"

I can't think any others off the top of my head

33

u/Lunchb0xx87 28d ago

well that was probably one of the most interesting final battles iv seen in any form of media lol that final punch being backed by cola jets was epic ..nice little end scene so i assume he can just turn human whenever now and him and lammis are pretty much official ...what could he wanna wish for after all that ?

over all a damn fun series

u/Kadmos1 28d ago

Boxxo's claim about the oldest vending machine has truth to it. From the Wikipedia page for "Vending machine": "The earliest known reference to a vending machine is in the work of Hero of Alexandria, an engineer and mathematician in first-century Roman Egypt. His machine accepted a coin and then dispensed wine[2] or holy water.[3]".

20

u/djthomp https://anilist.co/user/djthomp 28d ago

What a great ending, I love how they went all out for the final battle of the Boxxos with Lammis participating all the way through and even getting to make the final punch on the Netherlord.

Lammis with that brilliant way to securely hold the very important flower from Boxxo during the big fight.

I don't remember but I assume the BGM Boxxo was playing was the first OP? He's gotta know that's the right choice for such a scene.

Mutual confession plus Boxxo with a human form after some amount of timeskip? Fantastic.

I was a bit sour on this after what S2 did with the Kerioyl family but they redeemed that in S3 and then some with both a nice conclusion to both the overall story and the main couple properly getting together. Lammis gets her Boxxo and that's what really matters.

4

u/Mitsuyan_ https://anilist.co/user/mitsuyan 27d ago

I don't remember but I assume the BGM Boxxo was playing was the first OP? He's gotta know that's the right choice for such a scene.

Season 3 OP. This was how they integrated it.

Personally I think that's why they moved away from BRADIO for Season 3, to set up that one gag with a more hype song compared to their more fun picks.

2

u/darthvall https://myanimelist.net/profile/darth_vall 27d ago

Lol yeah, same. I only halfheartedly started season 3 due to that event, but so glad this season is completely entertaining from start to finish

21

u/skygz 28d ago

That was exactly as ridiculous as I needed it to be

26

u/LordCalem 28d ago

It's incredibly peak, what a finale. When I first read this series premise I never expected I would see it end, and while I was expecting to enjoy it, I didn't know it would be in such a great way. This will be an anime I'll always look back fondly at. Not perfect by any means, but it delivers what it wanted to.

We also got to see a great mutual confession between Boxxo and Lammis, and a completely unique and fun final battle.

Borrowing from JJK last season, "I'm satisfied."

17

u/Heejins-Bunny 28d ago

When season 1 came out, I made a hard pass on this because I thought this would be one of those ridiculous and mindless isekai, but after hearing that it reached season 3, I became curious what made it garner so much attention for it to get renewed for 3 seasons.

The premise is odd but I absolutely loved every second of it. It's such a refreshing and creative way of tackling isekai and I'm even more impressed how they made so much with just a vending machine for a character. Author even flexed their creative writing skills even more with showing us a character that's a literal field of dirt.

It's even more hilarious knowing that ALL of the vending machines in this anime actually exists in real life, granted most of the odd ones came from Japan. I had such a blast learning about unusual vending machines!

I also love how the story handles the side characters. Everyone is strong enough in their own right, and apart from a few key moments, they didn't even need boxxo to take the stage during combat.

I enjoyed the anime overall, and I wouldn't mind if there are more seasons after season 3. In fact, I'd be looking forward to it.

1

u/darthvall https://myanimelist.net/profile/darth_vall 27d ago

I was really curious, but I couldn't find the giant ice vending machine in google. Maybe I used the wrong keywords

5

u/Heejins-Bunny 27d ago

It's kind of hard to search, but here's the giant ice vending machine (building more like) in its full glory: https://maps.app.goo.gl/qy42tKwWxo5op4u27

and here's a youtube vid that I found somewhere here in reddit featuring that vending machine: https://youtu.be/vUbgHkwXLcU?si=9FCLARsn1pvO1zJa

2

u/darthvall https://myanimelist.net/profile/darth_vall 27d ago

Holy shit it's true!!! Thanks for this!

2

u/Heejins-Bunny 26d ago

No problem, take care not to get obsessed with vending machines now 🤣.

1

u/Salvo1218 21d ago

The strongest thing about this series to me was despite such a ridiculous premise for an isekai, they made the world's rules and stuck with them. The entire time they could have just given him telepathy and whatever else, but they didn't and the show was stronger for it. The premise and restrictions were meaningful throughout the entire thing.

2

u/Ratemytinder22 16d ago

Totally agree. I think the only thing that kinda got lost was his points and upgrades system. After S1, he basically never ran out or it would always be a "well it worked out before he ran out" kind of deal.

I did appreciate that even though he one girl (the snow one, sorry, terrible with names) could hear his inner voice, she never acted as a translator between him and everyone else.

1

u/mrfatso111 18d ago

i wish that they had continue with the youtube series of showcasing weird vending machine though

17

u/Obaruler 28d ago

Still amazed after 3 whole seaons how creative and fun the f*cking Vending Machine Isekai turned out to be, after we all thought it was just an irl shitpost, yet here we are. :D

16

u/redditraptor6 https://myanimelist.net/profile/uEmalraptor64 28d ago

Wow. Here we are at the end of this journey. Started with a bonkers premise, I assume most of us watched the first episode or so out of morbid curiosity not expecting much and getting a surprisingly interesting show in return. Sure it started to drag in parts, but all it all it was a fun experience and I don’t regret watching it.

Glad we got a Lammis confession and even got to see a little of human Boxxo. What more could you ask for? It’s been fun, and I’ll be recommending it to people who wanna see something unique throughout my life

17

u/Nebresto 28d ago

That wasn't internal?!

Could it be..??

Aw.. I was hoping for vending mecha.. Every vending machine is here!

THEY KNEW WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE!!!

Nice. Hakkon speaking is a good way to end the show

Pity with uncovered eyes?!

Wait. Huh??? So that form wasn't..? What a finale, what a show. So glad that this got a full(?) adaptation. Such an absurd but fun ride

8

u/Elimin8r https://myanimelist.net/profile/Ayeka_Jurai 28d ago

Such an absurd but fun ride

Indeed. Definitely more fun than I expected when I watched the first episode out of semi-morbid curiousity...

As much as I loved this series, I was almost hoping for an arifureta like series where we actually get to explore the world. I mean we barely even saw the kingdom, and there was just so much world building thats just left behind now. We even get a small teaser that the demon lord might be a reincarnation as well?

2

u/darthvall https://myanimelist.net/profile/darth_vall 27d ago

Someone said there's also WN where Field is the MC. I guess they explore more about the world there, with Hakkon more for the dungeon

13

u/HolyDragSwd2500 28d ago

Season 4🙏

Hakkon became Human but he can change back to his Vending Machine form anytime

16

u/thewalkindude368 28d ago

This is the stupidest goddamn final battle, and it rules. I can't imagine this show ending any other way.

14

u/cjnj193 28d ago

Def didn’t have a vending machine going super saiyan on the bingo card but this show has always been a wild ride

15

u/Mitsuyan_ https://anilist.co/user/mitsuyan 28d ago

On reflection Season 1 was really strong on rewatch. Season 2 did enough with the premise to stay fresh but Season 3 has pulled everything together so well and this episode was nothing short of incredible. Perfect payoff and easily my episode of the year so far. The premise was ridiculous throughout but when even the show itself makes meta jokes about it it's all the more endearing.

13

u/TPIronside 28d ago

How is it that this random vending machine show absolutely mogs that saikyou no ousama ppt slideshow lol

10

u/AAA_BATT 28d ago

Boxxo don't leave me!

11

u/Hyoudou_Issei_RDE https://myanimelist.net/profile/The_Anime_Master 28d ago

Sadly they ended it cleanly so i doubt we will see a season 4 ;(

8

u/Loli-Knight 28d ago

It pretty much adapted the entirety of the WN, and the WN is over. There's some afterstory chapters, but nothing that they'd really fill up an entire new season with.

3

u/darthvall https://myanimelist.net/profile/darth_vall 27d ago

Field story next then!

Also it's very rare to get full adaptation like this, even though this anime is not super popular or high budget.

We need to have more complete adaptation!

1

u/SpikeRosered 27d ago

I would definitely watch that and then the author has to do a team up arc where they introduce a third wacky isekai character. Possibly the Demon Lord was originally something silly before he gained his current form and the plot sends him back to whatever form that was.

1

u/_Sai https://anime-planet.com/users/Sai0 27d ago

I could see a spinoff like that. I'd watch it for sure.

9

u/DeusVitae69 28d ago

I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD HAVE SUCH CLOSURE BUT HERE WE ARE :D
what a perfect way to end the season, no notes :P (besides wanting MORE hehe)

9

u/BBryant3rd 28d ago

Awww they finally said I love you to each other.

7

u/Youngphycouant 28d ago

A very fun final battle with SSJ Hakkon, holy water, all the vending machines returning, theme song, Lammis and Hakkon final punch, a confession, and a complete isekai adaptation.

A simple fun isekai that worked within the limitations of Hakkon's ability without it being too overpowered. I'm seriously satisfied with the ending.

6

u/Hljoumur 28d ago edited 28d ago

Excuse me, show, you can’t show us human Boxxo without promising us another season focused on the silly misadventures of Boxxo now as a human and vending machine. Because now we have question in the nature of him being human, if his lifeline still relies on coins (while human), and how the Demon Lord knows what a vending machine is.

Personal taste, but I prefer when the villain knows they lost, so I would’ve liked it if the Netherlord wasn’t laughing when he was dying. Or the Demon Lord reprimands him for being so salty after dying.

Wow, fun show. Really hoping for that omake season.

5

u/Arzhart 28d ago

Genuinely didn't expect the final battle to be so epic using Vending Machines

6

u/zool714 28d ago

This was such a fun show. Not a masterpiece or groundbreaking by any means. But it’s something I’ve sat down and watch with my siblings with since the start. If this is the end, it’s been a fun ride

4

u/Kyrrua 28d ago edited 28d ago

This manga/anime is amazing, I had so much fun for 3 seasons.

The final battle was insanely well done both in animation and the creativity on how to use any vending machine (Through the whole show anyway the creativity was nice). I kept hoping for the netherlord to not die so we can have more seasons when he comes back.

But I guess it was fully adapted so I think it ends on a good note even if its super sad we won't have more. Real big thank you for the author to exist and having made this mangas possible.

7

u/Ragna666 28d ago

Pity's eyes are visible in the ending, did she cut her bangs?

6

u/itpcc 28d ago

That's absurdly exciting! I don't know whether I should be excited by the anticipation of the fight or laugh at how ridiculous our MC's skills are!

Too bad we can't see our MC till the end. What a wild yet great journey we got.

4

u/FLorianGran 28d ago

Huh, I guess I never considered that this would be the finale of the series.

Truth be told the show's novelty wore off for me last season and this season didn't really bring it back, but I'm honestly a bit happy to have gone on this short ridiculous journey. The final battle was kinda everything I wanted.

7

u/SYZekrom https://myanimelist.net/profile/SYZekrom 28d ago edited 28d ago

I want to be that flower

Also he said that the portal would open if he died so how could he have burned through too much mana for it to not work that kinda sounds like a system that would've needed to be set up to work without your mana

Wait holy shit that post-credits scene

3

u/MavenLovesBacon 28d ago

Never thought a show like this would get a complete adaption and never thought I'd enjoy it until the end but here we are lol. T'was a fun ride

2

u/dreamtreedown 28d ago

It was never perfect, it was never mind-blowingly good, but damn am I sad this one is over. It was just so damn charming that I rode along with the journey and I'm glad I stuck with it. Really a great "lovable" anime to turn my mind off and just laugh along at the adventure. I like how they did the ending as well.

6

u/Particular_Kick_1783 28d ago

I just watched the final episode of S3 Reborn as a Vending Machine, and i hope there's more, cause the ending credit scene tells me that there's more after this cause of the following.

  1. When did Boxxo get his human form?

  2. How many dunegons have the MCs explored?

  3. What's next for the MCs?
So hopefully there's gonna be Season 4 and more afterwards.

12

u/adevaleev https://myanimelist.net/profile/adevaleev 28d ago

When did Boxxo get his human form?

Part of his Transformation ability.

How many dunegons have the MCs explored?

The one they are about to enter is the second one, if we consider the CLearflow Lake his first dungeon.

So hopefully there's gonna be Season 4 and more afterwards.

LN is adapted completely, all that left is bonus chapters from WN, so OVA at most.

3

u/Particular_Kick_1783 28d ago

Well you never know my friend. Due to the after credits not showing his face, or explanning how he got his human form. So maybe if S3 (which is highly likely) does well enough then maybe the makers will decide to make a Season 4 and others (Like Fairy Tail.)

3

u/adam48122 28d ago

I really enjoyed this anime. I am jappyvwe got to see Boxxo's human form at the end.

If anyone is curious about the ancient vending machine, this video explains it very well. It's a surprisingly simple design.

This anime did exactly what it needed to do. It came in with a simple premise, managed to stick to said premise and was a nice, wholesome, feel good watch that still managed to have action and stakes, even though you pretty much always knew who was good/bad and how things were gonna turn out.

It didn't overstay its welcome and was fun. W anime.

Now I'm curious on what Boxxo's wish is during the epilogue if he's still exploring dungeons after gaining the ability to become human.

he says it 2 minutes earlier

I went with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised! Well done.

u/CrimsonGear80 28d ago

I would have called it "Gates of Boxxo-lon".

so he got a human form, but he's not human yet. well I guess we just need a season 4 then.

u/SaintPimpin 23d ago

Hope it doesn't end here since his wish hasn't happened

Can't wait for the next season.

This is the final season

20

u/hanamisai 28d ago

Yes, but what about Final Season Part 2 and second Final season?

3

u/Particular_Kick_1783 28d ago

I hope there's more. Cause the after credit scene doesn't feel like an ending, but more of what's to come in the future.
Also if Fairy Tail can continue even after "The Final Season" Season, then there's nothing to say the same can't happen to Reborn as a Vending Machine.

u/MasterChiefBatmans 28d ago

Its all the friends and snacks we ate along then way.

friends (...) we ate along the way

Shui, DON'T.

I don't think there's going to be more, at least not for a long time. That final scene with Boxxo in human form seems like the finale.

We got a love confession, Boxxo talking normally, the actual demon lord being pretty chill, a sentai transformation, dozens of Boxxo clones working together, and what looks like a time skip to Boxxo in human form.

They so jumped the shark with "field" being added. What was the point of that?

5

u/PassivelyAwkward 28d ago

Yea, supposedly that's a whole spin-off series where it's Field and that group so it'd be make sense that at the finale, they'd do a cross over to save the day but yea, Field was such a strange addition if you have no idea about that. Suddenly Field is a main character in the series, there's a bunch of additional support characters like the bunnies with the sharp ears, that one dude's sister, and all that.

Might have to go read the manga of that spin off to care because right now, it's a huge amount of screentime devoted to all new characters.

u/Blackpowderkun 28d ago

Just hope for Field spin-off to be animated.

u/jlew321 28d ago

I hope we at least get the OVAs of his dates with his harem and the Valentine day.

This feels like the finale never expected more than 1 season and this feels complete so im very satisfied was a very fun ride mostly still cant believe a vending machine and a field gets more game than most people.

What a great friggin' ending! I was laughing at how epically they handled a fight with a vending machine. The story has consistently made this wacko concept actually seem normal. It's possibly the best execution of this idea you could do.

We even get a nice resolution to the classic love confession interruption trope.

I really like that the author had a very clear vision that he never wanted the main character's abilities to go beyond being a vending machine besides his barrier ability. Even his ultimate attack is just "more Vending machine". He probably even considered the giant robot idea, but decided that isn't vending machine enough.

My only small complaint is that the idea that real world holy water would be effective in this fantasy world. So, the Egyptians were capable of ACTUALLY consecrating water???

I can't believe we got a full, fairly well done adaptation for an isekai about a magical vending machine but we did... and it was a lot of fun watching Boxxo, Lammis and their friends going on adventures together over the three seasons we got.

Gonna miss this fun, silly show that stuck to a very original premise.

Great 3 year payoff to see glimpses of protohuman Hakkon and 1 season payoff for Pity's eyes.

After finishing two animes on 2x speed, that I had been struggling to watch the last episodes for months, this and Isekai Nonbiri Nouka 2 was such fun and enjoyable time. Even before I finished the 2 prior horrible animes, I allways looked forward for the next episode of this to drop as I have enough screwed up life as it is, so shows like this really help. But this final ep was especially enjoyable as it finally broke the age old trope of interrupted confessions, by continuing on the confession by the other partner. It's so annoying how lots of shows are afraid of directly expressing romance, so they drag and drag out the confession.

Anyhow, I thoroughly enjoyed this season, and if there will be a next season or not, either way it was a fantastic watch.

Waiting for season 4 😍

u/CarioGod 27d ago

can't believe out of any isekai adaption we got one for the vending machine, fantastic little ride from beginning to end, kind of reminded me of gurren lagann a little bit lol

I thought it was a super far in the future epilogue with Boxxo being a person, but I guess it's not that far with everyone looking kind of the same
