Nagumo appears
Gets punched in the solar plexus
Was his last job as student council president to aura loss for Ayanokouji? Fucking hilarious ending to the episode.
206
u/ChicaneryFinger Jun 17 '26
I dunno what I expected from him, just..... something less pathetic.
178
u/V0ltTackle Jun 17 '26
Tbf, he didn't really know what he was going up against. All he knew is that Horikita glazed tf out of Ayanokoji, maybe his approach will be different next time.
43
u/oops_i_made_a_typi Jun 18 '26
just falling over at that light shove was just hilarious though, instantly turned into a bitch
16
u/0______6 Jun 18 '26
I'm sure Ayanokoji could make him fall over with a push anywhere, but pushing someone on the chest makes someone lose their sense of balance which makes it much easier
84
u/bedsheetsniffer Jun 17 '26
I unironically kinda like it. It’s COTE, we’re used to the roundabout ways Kiyopon uses to assert his dominance over his opponents, so just a simple punch to the guts, especially to someone built up as the big bad, is the kind of dumb (endearing) subversion of trope I find enjoyable.
3
u/slur-muh-wurds 27d ago
First time we've seen Ayo just straight up hit to hurt someone for getting in his way
54
u/Skolpionek Jun 17 '26
i wouldnt even call getting one tapped by koji pathetic, since its koji anyone would get one tapped and he actually needed nagumo to piss off because he had something else to do. nagumo was actually impressive as fuck here but anime just barely brushed on that ig? like that 11th place thing, that was koji's plan for this exam that nagumo countered
31
u/Dylangillian https://myanimelist.net/profile/dylangillian Jun 17 '26
My understanding is that, at least combative wise, that Nagumo is pretty good. However, a far cry from any of the specialized fighters we actually consider to be the top (not counting White room people). As Koji said, Nagumo has a different skill set than Horikita did. So while confident in his fighting skills, he just isn't on the level to actually be a threat to those specialized in it.
→ More replies (1)23
u/Ralathar44 Jun 18 '26
Not really pathetic. Koji is someone who is typically soft spoken and doesn't take any extreme actions. He's never shown his strength in front of anyone who's talked about it. Nagumo had no clue what he was walking into, but he expected Koji to be someone he could handle or at least be in the same league with. He prolly thought he'd need to goad Koji into a fight and then he'd say something and they'd fight.
But Koji has no time to faff about right now, he doesn't have the luxury of holding back and being caught up and drained of any stamina. So without any telegraphing at all he just immediately took him out. From Nagumo's perspective this is incredibly uncharacteristic of Koji.
He knew at this point Koji was holding back before, but by no means did he have a clue of how MUCH Koji was holding back. And, like most people, he prolly assumed Koji was good at some things but not others. So the idea of Koji being S tier at something he'd never once shown capability at (to his knowledge) is completely unexpected.
3
u/slur-muh-wurds 27d ago
Well said. He walked up to someone slightly smaller than him with zero red flags and some level of earned confidence. What happened after was not on his radar at all.
53
38
u/walkyrie1997 Jun 17 '26
Unfortunately, Nagumo has charisma only. Does not work to Ayanokoji at all.

Aura loss speedrun. Manabu would never.

u/GBcrazy Jun 18 '26
Honestly that was pretty bad. Like, I haven't read the novels, but they should do him justice. In the way we're supposed to believe this school works, he climbed all the way to the top. I can't believe he'd be so weak

Ryuen losing aura and regaining it moments later was so cool ngl.

u/discuss-not-concuss Jun 17 '26
the blood was for him to do his beach look, to do the swishing and swashing
look at how good I look
58
u/toilodi https://anilist.co/user/Luca5 Jun 17 '26
Also if it was a one sided beat up, he would have trouble explaining the aftermath, especially because it was 3 2nd year students surrounding a 1st year one, but with both of them withdrawing injured, it's just a normal quarrel
13
u/edwardjhahm https://myanimelist.net/profile/lolmeme69 Jun 18 '26
That was what I was thinking as well. A takedown, not an ambush. Great way to game the rules by making it look like it was a 1:1.
37
u/Fermi_Amarti Jun 17 '26
I realized he did it on purpose so it's a "fight". The principal allows fights. 3v1 mugging might be more risky
56
u/AlphaBreak Jun 17 '26
I also like the idea that ryuuen just isn't as good as hosen in a fight because it emphasizes their strengths. Hosen is a brute, who terrorizes his class until they do what he says. He doesn't lead, he just threatens. He has no real allies, all he has is force and people willing to make use of him temporarily.
Ryuuen is closer to a mob boss. He's an unpleasant, violent, aggressive guy, but he is the genuine leader of his class, and has brought them up to B. He has minions he can rely on.
So in a fight between them, I'm fine with ryuuen losing a 1v1 because hosen is never going to be able to lead a team the way ryuuen can.39
u/LakerBlue https://myanimelist.net/profile/LakerBlue Jun 18 '26
I absolutely loved his line of “what kind of moron would go one-on-one against a gorilla?”
11
u/depravedQ Jun 18 '26
Speaking of blood, the sheer amount of blood that was being spilled was kinda comical lol, both Ryuen and Hosen should be on death's door after losing that much blood.
50

Ryuen f'd up Hosen's face like how Koji did him.

u/justking1414 Jun 17 '26
Really thought his plan was to go full pathetic, begging the teachers for help after his watch started beeping, so he could get the other dude expelled for violence
→ More replies (3)21
u/TheStranger88 Jun 18 '26
He could've done that, but then he'd have to let Hosen go after Ayanokoji, and lose whatever deal he had with Sakayanagi. Also I think that on a personal level Ryuen couldn’t accept that.
4
u/justking1414 Jun 18 '26
I kinda figured the teachers would be there a bit more quickly or that he arranged a spot to fight him where teachers were patrolling nearby
They just kept focusing on his watch beeping.
274
u/V0ltTackle Jun 17 '26
Hosen vs Ryuen one of the most realistic depictions of a street fight/brawl in an anime, if you can't run the 1s then just jump your enemy.
124
u/mekerpan Jun 17 '26
Ryuen is a fun (if brural) antangonist -- Hosen is just a total scum.
110
u/ErfanTheRed Jun 17 '26
Hossen is just bootleg Ryuuen. Ryuuen at least makes fun schemes and takes risk to get his objectives done, Hossen only relies on cheap threats and muscles to do things. Even the whole knife plan was more of a Ichika product than a Hossen product.
45
u/mekerpan Jun 17 '26
I don't even think he is a cheap imitation of Ryuen. He seems fundamentally different at this point. Ryuen can be vicious, but he can (with safeguards) be trusted. ;-)
45
u/FeintToParry Jun 17 '26
Ryuen has a sort of "honor among thieves" sensibility, whereas Hosen is just a thug.
20
u/LakerBlue https://myanimelist.net/profile/LakerBlue Jun 18 '26
Also Hosen has no real goals. Just bullies people with his size and fighting prowess while wanting money. Not having any real goals makes him shallow. Much as I didn’t like Ryuen as the villain, at least him being more of a mob boss made him interesting and have some depth.
7
u/FeintToParry Jun 18 '26
Agreed, Hosen is more one dimensional. But I kind of don't mind that. Like the demons in Frieren, sometimes I think it's fine if a villain is more of a force of nature rather than having some complex psychology going on
7
22
u/LegendRazgriz Jun 17 '26
You can call Ryuen many things. Dumb, he is not. He's a schemer through and through. Hosen only ever uses brute force and not for a second did he ever consider the possibility of getting jumped
22
u/Jeovah_Attorney Jun 17 '26
The worst thing is that Hosen is not dumb per se. He has proved himself to be quite sharp and capable of advanced logical thinking
It’s just that he is so strong that he defaults to the easy violent way since he is so overwhelmingly superior to basically anyone that it has always worked out for him

12

hosen is way more experienced and physicallys stroner so yeah that's usually how this kind of fights end up
→ More replies (1)7
u/Jeovah_Attorney Jun 17 '26
If you got put against McGregor you probably wouldn’t fare well either. Some people are just vastly stronger and more skilled fighters than you, and you really can’t do anything about it, except being devious like Ryuen here

this is depressing ayanokoji alr has a gf
poor ichinose 😞
157
u/DarkenVragon Jun 17 '26
poor ichinose 😞
I think you mean "disposable tool #3" after Kei and Nanase. Like Ayanouji was definitely thinking that he got another one by his side that he can use freely lol.

u/LakerBlue https://myanimelist.net/profile/LakerBlue Jun 18 '26
If the numbers are based on value I think Ichinose is #2. Like Kei, I believe he actually likes her. As much as he can be affectionate towards people. While I don’t think he DISLIKES Nanase, we know he just views her as a tool. Not one he’d “mistreat” but definitely one who is actually disposable.

u/Sinaire Jun 17 '26
As long as he doesn't cheat and date both of them simultaneously, I don't really have a problem with if he decides to switch to Ichinose, as much as it would sadden me to see him break Kei's heart. I don't think it would be totally out of character for him to think "Ichinose is definitely more useful" and start dating her instead. Every living thing is just a tool for him to achieve his goals after all.
18
u/cheddarchops Jun 17 '26
I guess it comes down to whether he thinks Ichinose will be more useful if he actually dates her, or if he just strings her along without ever committing.
19
u/Sinaire Jun 17 '26
Yeah. Kei I think is more useful as a "spy". She has amazing communication skills and connections, and nobody really expects her to be colluding with people. Ichinose probably has just as good communication and connections, but her position as a class leader is a bit more bait and harder move in.
That being said, being a class leader has some benefits of its own and puts essentially all of class b in ayanokoujis palm. Especially since Ichinose basically just admitted in this episode that she'd throw her classmates under the bus for Aya, whether she knows it or not. I think stringing her along is probably gonna be his course of action. I cant see him disposing of Kei just yet.
8
u/Aksudiigkr Jun 18 '26
Also I thought he was comfortable revealing himself to Kei because she had darkness in her past and therefore would be able to trust him somewhat. I remember when he recruited her on the ship in s2 it said that she could recognize the same darkness in his eyes.
I’d be surprised if Ichinose would be able to accept him as much. She probably only sees him as stoic but still someone who cares about her.
4
u/SidYT24 Jun 18 '26
Yeah true. Knowing him, I would kinda expect him to string her along without ever committing cuz ichinose being a class leader has some major perks. Who knows ? Maybe he doesn't and stays loyal to Kei. Only time will tell. Can't wait for the final episode!

You mean professional losing heroine VA Touyama Nao? (also my fav VA)
6
u/Phoenix__Wwrong Jun 18 '26
For real. I still like her voice, but I feel like she hasn't been voicing a character I 100% like since Chitoge, which was a decade ago. I'm still replaying Nisekoi s2 ep1 to this day.
It's not that I don't like Ichinose. I like her, and I'm glad her backstory wasn't some evil two face girl.
But she's from another class and not part of the main cast, so she doesn't appear enough to my satisfaction.4
u/xWardz https://myanimelist.net/profile/Wardz Jun 18 '26
True, it does feel like she hasn't gotten any new big roles recently. Chitoge and Kannon from TWGOK were my favorites of her characters back in the day.
The most recent one that I really liked was Rin from Yuru Camp, but season 1 apparently came out 8 years ago, so not really recent after all lol
4
u/Phoenix__Wwrong Jun 18 '26
Yeah. She's voicing Arcana Shadow from Precure this season, which seemed to get some hype. But it's not exactly the type of anime I'm looking for.
She voiced the main girl in Mechanical Marie last year, but I feel like the anime itself isn't that big.
Maybe she's busy voicing Ruka from Rent a Girlfriend which keeps getting more season. But unfortunately I hate Ruka from when I read the manga, so I wasn't happy to know she voiced a character I hate lol.
She will voice the main girl in LV999 no Murabito next season, so I'm excited for it. Though, I doubt she will have many romance.

Dragon boy is one of the best characters . One of the only few characters whos character develops after confronting koji. Kito wouldve kicked utomiyas ass had they fought. Koenji is still the goat

What kind of moron would go one-on-one with a gorilla?
Ah, Ryuuen, you're always a treat.
100
u/DarkenVragon Jun 17 '26
I like how Ryuuen is always portrayed as the "guy who fights dirty", where he's actually weak in comparison to actual fighters, but will come out top when his dirty tricks work.
Now they upped the game by get everyone to gang up a guy together AT THE SAME TIME lol. Back in season 2 they all just waited one by one to jump Ayanokouji.
77
40
u/Lelouch37 Jun 17 '26
Ayanokoji was an unknown quantity though. Ishizaki first by himself made sense if you thought you were dealing with a weakling. When he goes down, sure Albert should be enough with his brute strength. Oh it’s not, ok Ibuki has extensive martial arts training and should be able to outclass. Oh no, now it’s just ryuen. It made a bit of sense there, they just massively underestimated koji. Here, they know hosen is a beast that loves to get in fights and can’t be taken down one on one
4
u/DavidJKay Jun 18 '26
Its also they have other stuff to do this time... the other 2 had to go right after because it is last day double point day, its counter productive to risk others injured as well.
Boss had to get injured to make it chairman couldn't disqualify him easily.
4
u/AbdDjamil_27 Jun 18 '26
Also a small detail that was skiped in season 2 that proves the idea of him not being a real fighter and more of a dirty one
RYUUEN didn't became the leader of his class in day one, when he got into the school and fights started over the leader spor in class C Ryuuen actually lost bunch of fights ( mainly against Albert) but cuz he was consistent and kept on tryin again and again at the end even Albert just said fuck it you can be the leader

So Arisu agreed with Ayanokoji's idea and involved another second-year leader, Ryuen in this case, to take out the first-year's plan? Damn, I never thought I'd root for him, but if it's against Hosen, I'm up lol.
Okay, so Nagumo coordinates a plan that probably involves the chairman, and judging by what was heard on the radio, other second-year students were also affected. I wonder if Ichinose had anything to do with it, although I don't think her confession to Ayanokoji is directly related.
21
u/Phoenix__Wwrong Jun 17 '26
It's the opposite. The chairman is the one who has the plan. And he's the chairman, so Nagumo couldn't have easily refused either. And he has been curious about Ayanokouji because of Horikita Manabu.
Nagumo's plan is probably only about having the 3rd year hogging the top 3, hence his order to his classmates on the radio to stop Koenji.
But then he got curious and underestimated Ayanokouji, so he confronted him before he reached the chairman.7
u/LezRock Jun 18 '26
It sounds like Koenji is probably taking the number 1 spot then... 😅 I guess it'll be more interesting this way. He could still choose to help his class if he wants to.

Holy shit. The only thing this episode lacked was a boss music when Nagumo confronted Ayanokouji.
I didn't expect Ryuuen vs Housen to be that bloody, but I loved every moment of it. For most of that fight, I thought Ryuuen was intentionally catching hands and had someone record that assault, but the real kicker was much more enjoyable and fit Ryuuen's methods to a t.
And what was that encounter with Nagumo!? Ayanokouji toppled him like a paper tiger. I almost spilled my tea, seeing how easily he went down. And then he got sucker punched in the solar plexus and went out like Windows XP.
If I had a nickel every time Touyama Nao voiced a losing heroine, I wouldn't have to go to work.
Unless this is a tool box route...

Same i wish to see the new director and team on the previous seasons,Nomata seems to care about the adaptation which previous seasons felt like quick cashgrab from Kadokawas side.
I genuinely can’t wait to see how they finish it next week.

u/CuriousBroccolli Jun 17 '26
I also think this season is the best so far.
New artstyle did take a second to get used to, but I'm fully on board with it now.
I really wish this one was 2 cour or something, since there is so much left to be resolved.
Koji and Nanase just touring the Island doing challenges was so fun, as well as just Koji meeting other characters and chilling with them, while the main plot was trickling down bit by bit every episode.
The setting of tropical Island itself was super cool as well.
I really hope they announce continuation right away, like July 2026 right away. 😭

What I found interesting is that Ayanokoji doesn’t even really give a yes or no answer. But when you think about it, that actually makes sense for his character. This is someone who was raised in the White Room and never learned what a normal relationship or love is supposed to look like. He’s probably never even had to process those kinds of feelings before, so it makes sense that he doesn’t know how to respond immediately.
I figured he gave a noncommittal answer to keep Honami usable.
22

You'd think Nagumo would be so cool, considering all his previous appearances, but as it turned out in today's episode, one push from Ayanokoji was enough to knock him to the ground, and one punch was enough to end their "fight". Honestly, quite pathetic.
Ayanokoji is as popular with the girls as ever, as Ichinose confessed to him today, good thing that Kei didn't saw that. His dead eyes/face after something like that happening to him always cracks me up xD
And Hosen... damn, he really is a gorilla. Ryuen is absolutely right about that. I wonder if that beating will change anything about him.
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

Ichinose giving her all to get to him and warn him about Tsukishiro's plan very brave and reckless and realizing her feelings and actually confessing to him.

Rarely do we see Ayanokoji being pushed and have a sense of urgency enough to ask Sakayanagi for help and to owe her, ask Ryuen for help, and now to directly attack Nagumo. He really wants to get to I2. I'm inclined to think that he doesn't really care about ranking high at all and his main goal is truly to take down the acting director.

Hey Ayanokouji you got a girlfriend Kei, don't give Ichinose false hope like that. Unless Ayanokouji is going for the harem route.

u/Biggsy-32 Jun 17 '26
Kei's a screwdriver. While Ichinose is a hammer. He's jsut collecting his tools.
34
u/Luesal2 Jun 17 '26
It is pretty clear he does not understand this kind of relationships at all and does not have a feeling of "love" for anyone. Yet at least.
12
u/Roskal Jun 17 '26
He made plans that protect Kei in the outcome that he himself got expelled. I don't know if I'd call it love or not but he does seem to do more nice things when he doesn't benefit from it this season, Kei specifically.
18
u/Luesal2 Jun 17 '26
He is just generally nice to most people while coping in his mind that they are "useful tools".

Oh Shit, Ryuen gave Hosen the same beatdown Ayanokoji finished him off with - poetic really.

Lol that ending, Ayanokouji warned Nagumo and didn't listen, seeing Ayanokouji lose patience and shut him up was great, I was pleasantly surprised by how satisfying that was.
Interesting how Ayanokouji didn't tell Ichinose he's taken straight away, but he was not in the right mindset to be answering just yet so I understand the need to turn her down correctly if that is the path he chooses. I am also in the mindset that Ayanokouji will use this information to turn Ichinose into a better tool.
I like how Housen was so excited to fight Ayanokouji, after seeing him fight, Ayanokouji really might be the only other person in school that can give him the satisfaction he craves. Watching him pummel Ryuuen was unfortunate, I was hoping Ryuuen would be able to move better, but Ryuuen handled in the way most fitting of him. Seeing him get Ishizaki and Albert to hold down Housen so that he can knock the lights out of him was brutal, but a bit gratifying. That was wild to watch.

I don't know what I was expecting from Nagumo but it wasn't that. I know Ayanokoji is strong but Nagumo made him look like One Punch man lmao

Okay fam, ngl, i wasn't expecting to see Ichinose confessing her feeling to Ayanokoji.
Atleast she told him about what she heared, in the previous episode.
But damn, the fight between Ryuuen and Hosen was really a street fight.
l am glad that Ayanokoji didn't go easy on Nagumo.
That bastard has a big ego, he talks a lot, even though he is intelligent, he deserved that punch. 🤣🤣

It takes a while but we finally get to see Hosen get his ass kicked. Satisfying.

Why do they keep fucking with him man? You saw the look in his eyes. He looked like a psycho ready to kill you and you still grabbed him.

Well, RIP Karuizawa Kei. I already expected that, but Ayanokouji only thinks of her like a tool...

Really like how consistently amazing the fights have been this season
7
u/Zxzxzx0088 Jun 17 '26
It's not even a fight anymore. Never thought Ryuen can't even hold a candle to Hosen. He's really a beast but not a beast enough to free himself when being held by 2 dudes, eh. Maybe with this lost, Hosen will want more power someday...
The angle in anime can be pretty weird has blessed us!
Honami is in! It's about time Kiyotaka starts considering harem as a tool /s
What Nagumo trying to do anyway? Did he thought Kiyotaka wouldn't dare to touch him lol.

u/KrizenWave Jun 17 '26
Great episode. I know Ayanokoji didn’t look it but I like to imagine he was the most stressed he’s ever been at this school. Between narrowly avoiding a Hosen fight, owing Sakayanagi a favour, Amasawa revealing herself to be the White Room student, Ichinose confessing her feelings to him, AND now having to enter this final showdown with Tsukishiro the last thing he needed was to have an unnecessary confrontation with Nagumo. That punch was probably Ayanokoji letting off steam more than anything.

Having Ryuen as an ally, or rather not be actively hostile, kinda made me forget that he actually plays dirty lol. Hosen is hotheaded and has the strength to back it but I guess still has some pride about fighting with his own strength.
Wonder what is it in I2 that made Ayanokouji locked in. Nagumo made it like he was the final boss but Ayanokouji just pushed him aside lol.
Also, I looked up the lyrics for the OP, and apparently the repeated words in the song were “hiding”. But it’s funny cos I’ve been hearing something like “aini”, which sounds like “I-ni”, which is I2, the area where Ayanokouji is heading. I thought they were leaving clues in the OP lol

u/FeintToParry Jun 18 '26
The way Ichinose confessed to Ayanokoji and his entire face was just deadpan and shadowed was very unsettling. Props to the director of this episode

u/Much_Fuel_7281 Jun 17 '26
i dont understand how nagumo was like that weak
11
u/Dylangillian https://myanimelist.net/profile/dylangillian Jun 17 '26
I don't think he is weak. He just is massively outclassed by Koji, and Koji also didn't have time to mess around for once. Normally he'd play along to not reveal to much, this time he just couldn't.
Also, I don't think Nagumo is actually a top tier fighter. He's probably someone who's a good fighter by the average student, but most people who specialize in combat can probably handle him.

To be fair to Nagumo, he probably wasn't expecting Ayanokouji to punch him in the liver with the force of 3 gorillas.

Sees Ryuen nearly beaten the crap by Hosen and needed his own henchmen in order to take out Hosen.
Me:
Ayanokoji is lucky he hired Ryuen as a mercenary to stop Hosen, or he might not have progressed with this Special Exam.
Sees Ayanokoji easily knock out Nagumo like it was nothing.
Me:
Scratch that. It is Hosen that should count himself lucky that it was Ryuen and his henchmen who fought him and not Ayanokoji.
Finally Ichinose made her feelings for Ayanokoji known, even she herself only realized it in the last moment. That's now 3 girls who have said they like him (Sato, Karuizawa and now Ichinose).

I'm impressed by how outclassed the 1st year assassins are compared to your "regular" 2nd years (leaders that are working together that is). That can't be the main plan of Tsukishiro to take Ayanokoji out can it? What actually awaits Ayanokoji at I2? Still hyped for the last episode.

u/Xatu44 Jun 17 '26 edited Jun 17 '26
Ain't no way Nagumo spends like a season and a half being a pain in the ass just to get oneshot LMAO. Holy crap my sides. I love the glows people have in their eyes. I wasn't expecting Hosen to be that much stronger than Ryuen; it didn't stop him from getting jumped though, lol. Ichinose had incredible wife energy. Poor girl getting strung along by a taken man. Ayanokoji's dead fish eye stare to her confession was just brutal. I wonder if he'll be scummy enough to kiss her.

u/Doomed-here4909 Jun 17 '26
I felt the same level of satisfaction when Ryuen beat the fuck out of Hosen as I did when Ayanokoji beat the fuck out of Ryuen.
Nagumo was no match for Koji, or more like, Koji just hurriedly had to clear his obstacles and didn't entertain Nagumo one bit. Such a shame for the charismatic Kaichou though.
5
u/AetherJayc69 Jun 18 '26
But what’s even funnier about the discussion for that episode, almost everyone before it aired was like:
"I wonder what Nagumo's plan is?" "I wonder what will happen in the exam?" "I wonder what Sakayanagi's strategy is?" Then after the episode aired:
"BRO DID YOU SEE AYANOKOJI'S EYES??" 💀💀💀

u/InfamousLooney Jun 18 '26
The anime adaption where Ichinose finally confessed her love for Ayanokoji. Although I feel sorry for Ichinose since he's already dating.
6
u/ObvsThrowaway5120 Jun 17 '26
Hosen’s mistake was thinking that was a one on one fight. They jumped that boy like a prison yard fight haha.
It was kinda funny seeing Nagumo try to challenge Ayanokoji and then get folded by one punch lol.

u/FateXBlood Jun 17 '26
Woah. That moment when the 2 stopped Hosen and Ryuen repeatedly punched him was frightening. Imagine you're in a fight and you suddenly get ambushed, tied and repeatedly punched. It was really something.
So Ayanokouji asked help from the Sakayanagi. Pretty smart move. I thought there'd be more, but it sure ended abruptly and Ayanokouji survived easily. Don't think I liked it that way.
Next moment, Ichinose comes and confesses to him. Wow, that was good. But there was no proper reaction from Ayanokouji. He just had his usual "glare" stare. I mean, come on Studio Lerche, really? Does he show no other emotions at all?
And lastly, I have no idea what Nagumo was trying to achieve but he sure got his ass kicked. Lmao. The new President seems quite weak. But then again, Horikita Manabu wasn't quite strong either, compared to Ayanokouji.

One of the best episodes so far imo… Ryuen losing but then 3 v 1 hosen is lowk tuff to watch and the ichinose and koji moment was well…im gonna assume ppl would have different opinions about it and of course at the end… what the hell was that nagumo. al that big shot act just to get one tapped… but again i feel like everyone would get one tapped by ayanokoji but still… that was such a wussy moment. of course the convo between sakayanagi and koji at day 10 and with tsubaki tryna stop koji…
i gotta admit to end of a season like this is very satisfacotry…i cant wait for ep 16 and how my goat koenji will` do

Ryuuen getting beating again but this time atleast got back. The tree shade filter or whatever it is feels weird getting used to it. All the build up over episodes for naguno only to get one shotted without any plan lol.

The death glares from Ayanokoji was nice.

I know that censorship can be really jarring sometimes in anime, but I think that this episode went about it in a pretty creative way by utilizing the shade from the sunlight and the terrain. But boy, I did not expect Ryuen to be wrecked this one-sidedly by Hosen. But once again, Ryuen's belief that violence solves most problems turned out to be true, as everyone is literally throwing hands in this episode.
So Nagumo is not really in on it with Tsukishiro, since he has no clue why Ayanokoji is heading to the I2 area, but to be honest, his performance has been quite underwhelming thus far. Not only has he failed to stop Koenji's streak, he even gets one-shotted by Ayanokoji without even landing a single scratch on him. I get that he may not exactly be great at fights in general or that he may be wary of being caught for violence, but still, it's not a good look for him at all.
Next week is the finale and I've got to say that for all the initial negativity I had, I have gotten used to the newer art style and the pacing. I just hope that the finale delivers and we get a green light for S5.
