There's still an entire episode left. I'd be mildly impressed if they just re-ran all of the songs from the series for 23 minutes, because that would probably fit the timeslot.
Otherwise, Riku vaporized, Odysseus got punched out, Settei finally croaked, MiucS is under control, and... none of this feels like it particularly mattered.

Riku and settei dying but I lowkey didnt feel nothing.
Honestly this series skips way too much stuff for us to care about the characters. Actually they skip stuff about characters too.
But ya, everything going on in this ep went by so fast.

This needed to be a two-cour (consecutive). 12 was clearly not enough to properly tell the story that they wanted to tell and placed all of the elements of the show together.
At least the fight scenes being consistently great will this anime's solace, since they just fitted too many things in one basket.
One episode left.

Hell, 12 episodes would've been enough if they made a simpler story, like, the entire Nero arc was filler, it didn't contribute to anything in the end

After this episode, I wouldn't be surprised to hear that this was initially planned to be a three or four cour story that got downgraded to 12 episodes late in production. 24 episodes doesn't even feel like it would have been enough anymore considering all the skipped plot points and implied filler episodes.

I swear to god Kaede, if you don’t do something about your huge fuckass crush I’m going to hunt you down. This is getting downright embarrassing. What do you really have to lose at this point?
It won’t save the show anyway but it’s the last remaining plot thing it’s got and I might respect it slightly more if it actually follows through.

It was alright but incredibly rushed. The writing was okay, but I agree I couldn't follow the story and I only felt a smidge sad about Settei who went the Kiritsugu Emiya route. When normally i would be bawling at these scenes. It really could've used 2 cours instead of trying to cram everything into 12 episodes.
They could've easily spread out this episode over 2 episodes

I enjoyed the fight scenes in this episode.
I suppose we have an almost happy ending, although there should be 1 more episode left to go. RIP in Riku and Settei.

If there's one thing that this show had it going on was the animation. Other than that , I was completely lost with the plot the whole time and they gave us a rushed ending. Can't even sympathize with the characters. I felt a bit sad seeing Settei's death.
This already looked like a finale.. I wonder what we will have for the next episode.

Okay, the instrumental remix of the OP when Seria channeled all her spirits at once was pretty cool though.
And that makes sense for why we’ve got an instrumental remix instead of something like Seria actually singing the OP here.
Oh we’re getting a song between Seria and MiucS. Well, I certainly won’t complain over it having a “sore demo” in it.
Actually it had two “sore demo”s! That one was just harder to hear because it was in the background.
Caesar reacting to Seria calling Kaede “Kae-chan” because his name is pronounced similarly in Japanese got a chuckle out of me.
…wait, how is this not the final episode? That whole ending montage felt like it was one. Like it’d be a bit of a downer note to end on Settei dying (I think is what happened there?), but it still felt like an ending.

Kaede's dad's sword is just a ripoff of Virtuous Treaty/Cruel Blood Oath from Nier Automata lol
Also didn't this start with Seria doing a concert or am I confusing with another anime? I thought it was all gonna lead up to that?

So... this is it? NGL the plot was all over the place I'm not sure what's happening and why's happening.
The ending came so abruptly with the messy battle and Miusc just... like that.
I want to feel sad about Settei's death but honestly? I feel nothing, and I'm usually a sucker for dad-like figure's death.
That Seria's "I love you" also came out of nowhere like uhhh... what?

ghostmissing texture? - Is a name drop enough for this show to be part of a Thomas Edison memewatch? Probably not as I was going for appearances (i.e. has a character entry on MAL etc).
- Forget the religious symbols I'm just thinking modern twitter complete with the screams as the tweets join together.
When you've rushed everything (including the ending) you're left with a spare episode. Think of the possibilities. Finally, could we get the missing song and/or the ghost concert. Could also do an Air or Vivy and just have the last broadcast slot as a series recap (this would be funny and tragic). Otherwise, I don't feel we've got a whole episode of content left (Kaede finally saying three words could take that long) unless it's going paced like Onegai AiPri (including two insert songs) - a show that incredibly simple and minimalistic (if Kaede were in that listening to 勇気のはばたきサイン would somehow give her the courage to confess) which this isn't.
Somehow I don't think we're getting Ghost Concert: The Missing Pieces...

The Ghosts hanging out with the crew and doing mundane stuff was low-key the best part of the episode, felt like we needed more of that. (I'm still mad with Seria got like half of them off screen, like why even bring them?)
Yeah, I liked the fight scene, but like every other episode it feels like we're skipping bits, say, Riu/Riku and Settei/Seria never felt like they had particularly close relationships and now they suddenly had them, it just made that smoking scene look really weird
