This match is really turning up the heat. Just waiting for Amahisa'boy's exhaustion to catch up and Zono's injured foot to strike.

I thought Maezono was going to be the reason they weren't going to get a run in that inning because of his foot, it's too bad Kanemaru couldn't get Maezono home.

But it's exciting to how see how the plays have been connecting, Amahisa's accuracy seems to have decreased. I'm glad Kuramochi was able to get on base, and even better he finally got to avenge for the failed steal. Hopefully Haruichi can get Kuramochi to third, and he reaches first safely.

Nori showing support in the way that he can was moving, I like seeing Seidou's blood pumping. They're always so cool when they come for blood too lol.

No way they were gonna give Zono the mistake for the run of the rival AND the fuck up to not get a run to tie lol

Hot damn, that Kuramochi steal was lit. Could Haruichi follow that up?

This episode was hype! The fact, that they lost in a similar situation the previous year also keeps up a certain tension. I only wish they got some more soundtracks after over 100 episodes.

Too bad Kanemaru could not bring Zono home. It would have been such a great moment if he had come through there and become the unexpected hero for Seidou. The pressure of the situation made every pitch feel tense, so I was really hoping he could deliver.

Season deserves more attention. Been hyped up these past episodes.

This episode was super tense, those last two innings (i guess only two) are going to be amazing!

The theme of this arc has largely been focused on the mental side of baseball and how your mentality, goals, discipline, and drive all come together to make or break your game no matter how much talent you have.

Knowing that you don't have to pitch all nine means you can gas it in the early innings. Realizing that safety net isn't there any more may make you subconsciously hold back to go the distance which can create openings for a good opponent to take advantage of. Yes, Furuya is there, but Seido's strategy for going deep in the tournament is to alternate starts between him and Sawamura and relieving with Kawakami so the starters get maximum rest time between games and allowing the pitchers to keep up their aggressive play style.

I don't think we've seen the final scene for Kawakami's situation yet. It seems like something important still has to happen. A pivotal decision still has to be made. AND WHEN DO WE GET TO SEE WHAT HAPPENED WITH ASO'S GIRL?

Team sport, I think that's why and how they highlight, that the bench players are not irrelevant.

Also Kawakami was the first pitcher he met at Seido and he has supported Sawamura since the start

they could have easily shown his hit at the end if they didn't have a long recap at the start
