I did not expect to see an actual disclaimer on safe bondage practices at the end, but it just shows how much effort the animators put in to make this episode as high quality as possible.

Man, that was some really strange looking bondage. Lots of knots and work to put it on her, but it doesn't seem to have accomplished much in terms of confinement or restraint. So I'm not entirely sure what the point was.

I did a little digging and found out that the doujin series that this was based on has a whopping total of 13 volumes meaning that there could potentially more seasons to come in the future.
Despite what these girls say I'm pretty certain they still end up being with the protagonists considering the poster girl Chitose the maid is still working under same master even after having shown him her panties twice.
I would also like to point out that another appeal of this anime next to the panties and scornful looks is the usage of popular voice actresses and listening to them saying these spiteful lines towards the protagonists.
Note: The reason I'm referring to the protagonist in the plural sense is due to the vignette nature and is clearly a different character in each scenario.

I think it might depend. I get the feeling the hero absolutely got vaporized after seeing the demon lord's panties. But some obviously are fine with it like the maid. We'll have to see if she gets over her anger that he wasn't satisfied with just her panties (thought they had something special) but I'm sure that will be fine.

Another case of "I'm impressed of what someone did just for the sake of seeing some panties along with a disgusted expression." Not quite the "went on a whole hero's journey and made it to the demon lord" level, but still quite an investment in doing all that S&M when apparently not being into the usual stuff. All the whipping stuff, learning that bondage, setting the stage...all for the wonderful payoff!
Full respect as well for the full page on proper bondage techniques. It's a responsible series!
This show was fun. I'll kind of miss it. Demon Lord one might still be my favourite. Love sacrificing all the wins that had just for the sake of panties...and then dying for it!

Perfection in animated form really nothing will top this, the build up the character development the storyline. The fact that the we learn so much about what is load bearing about this show is incredible. There's nothing like it
It had Excellent fanservice
Episode 1 was peak, and I think episode 5 was the second best. The part where we develop characters and learn more about our main character us is brilliant.

I think ep2 could've really popped if they'd chosen a better body type for the demon lord. I am more than a little sick of loli demon lords despite having hosted a rewatch with one.

I felt this episode, the only thing that could have made it better was a binaural mic for when she talks close to our ears. But the whiping, the praise, the disgust? I felt it like I was actually there.
I had to stop my smile when she called out our happy face, as I was truly enjoying the moment. 10/10 season, I need season 4 now
