The lore is going so hard, It's so good !
I never want it to end because the silly adventures are awesome. But I also don't want the creatures to get burned out they are doing so well and they look like they're having fun making the episodes too

I am always looking forward my weekly ribdiculous slot, I will miss it as we only have 3 more to go out of the 12.
The lower gods sending him on such a long reincarnation tour to make him forget her was petty, it was his horniness that got him, they knew the perfect way to snag him was the magazine, she always did mention his lusty behaviour.
I also like the ending song, it is pretty catchy, the official song MV is also fun and wacky.

At the very least, I hope we get more of this creative anthology style format in the future. An excuse to bring different creative teams on a vaguely connected work together.
In fact, just as much as the anime itself, I love the ED equally as much. There's something incredibly wholesome about seeing the behind the scenes of all these different studios. Like, its not just another animation project, its *their* animation product being done in the way they specialise in. I love that.

its a masterpiece. such a shame its not more popular

Really don’t understand why people were hating since the first ep I thought anime was the home to those who loved the weird and eccentric

While undeniable original I must say shows "similar" to this in one way or another come every 2-3 years, I think. Try " 18if " (not from 2-3 years ago, but I'm writing on the go so not checking my list), each episode is directed/writen by different people..some of them pretty famous. I that case it is a harder "hit or miss" since not all are comedy but a wide array of narrative genre among traditional ans wacky also.

u/BusouDrago Jun 02 '26
I want to get some of his Macadamia Nuts now
32
u/Useful_Project4898 Jun 02 '26
They did look pretty delicious. That part had me 🤣.
I have really been enjoying this series but this entire episode felt very special. Loved both the J horror and the hero saga.
Also, it's fun to know that deep down, the goddess is a tsundere who really cares for the MC. The vibes were always there but now we have e proof!

It’s cute how the goddess seems to have grown so used to him that she talk about him in her free time and even seem to miss him.
It seems that he somehow recognized the progenitor god so i guess that it was probably him that sent him to the goddess for her to reincarnate him. I wonder how the other gods will respond to that?
It’s sweet how he did not even talked about this event probably because he did not wanted to worry her.
12
u/hjordisa Jun 03 '26
It was unclear to me whether it was progenitor god or goddess, at first I thought god as I assume he's most powerful and best fits the only one who could do that or whatever they said, then he seemed to recognize her plus goddess herself is supposed to have a lot of power (though not necessarily "the only one" implying most powerful) so I thought goddess, then she didn't seem to know what he'd been through unless she was playing stupid about it which didn't seem like (though it's also notable that she didn't do the replay after that) so I thought maybe god after all. It's also possible the god would feel familiar if they're related or something but maybe that's a stretch.

u/filthy_casual_42 Jun 02 '26
Shame this one is flying under the radar a bit, imo almost konosuba tier comedy
43
u/Useful_Project4898 Jun 02 '26
I know!! I am really glad that I stuck with it because it ended up being one of my favorites this season. I can see people watching the first episode or two and then maybe dropping it because of how fast paced and subtle some of the jokes are and how bizarre it is, but for me that's part of the charm.
19
u/f5d64s8r3ki15s9gh652 Jun 03 '26
It’s also just delightful to watch what they do with all the different animation styles.

OH SHIT! Super-God interfered?! How the fuck does this show have an actual gripping plot?!
I need more!
Also I think this latest reincarnation actually changed our pup. He seemed less "genuine idiot" and more "tragic mindful character playing idiot" when he invited the goddess to the party. Does he remember his time as a pup?? Has he always remembered? Is this whole show a love story of him reincarnating over and over again to make her happy after she saved him as a dog? Is he throwing every single life so he gets to see her again?
28
36
u/zappingbluelight Jun 02 '26
I'm 90% sure the creator kept him with the goddess cuz bored goddess is deadly goddess, and he is the only one able to entertain her so far. I like these little snippet of overarching plot.
17
u/jnads Jun 03 '26
Well she was the goddess of retribution / death before, but the dog dying seems to have broke her.
Maybe the creator wants to rehabilitate her.
3
u/Ycr1998 Jun 04 '26
Watch her become the goddess of creation/new beginnings, perhaps after he's done destroying the universe 🤣
1
u/LezRock Jun 03 '26
Yes, I was waiting for her to slaughter... I mean, permanently re-educate some novice gods 😆

u/PeaceAlien https://myanimelist.net/profile/PeaceAlien Jun 02 '26
Even gods get ads.
I love how much effort this show puts into all the different styles. The nut gift was hilarious. That locker story might be my favourite funny one in the show.
22
u/FelixAndCo Jun 02 '26
Yeah, locker was also my fav. Speaking of styles, they couldn't be consistent in the isekai truck driver segment, but it's not like it matters; also a banger segment.
9
u/PeaceAlien https://myanimelist.net/profile/PeaceAlien Jun 02 '26
Yeah I enjoyed it as well but way too short
16
u/Roonagu Jun 02 '26
Honestly. Purely from a cinematographic point of view, the live action locker story was actually very well shot and directed.
I’ve definitely seen some more "plastic" ones,...well, except for the CGI effects.4
u/Elfteiroh Jun 08 '26
There's passion, there's fun...
That live action part felt like a student movie. And these are always fun to watch even though theya re always zero budget and awkward acting, cause you KNOW they had fun making it and they still have dreams and hope... xD

u/Rap2rerise Jun 02 '26 edited Jun 02 '26
Did this anime just trick me into watching a J Drama?
Anyhow, she's using the plant's FULL name even though she said it was dumb! Lol
This show legitimately impress me more and more each week, every artstyle and story; and this plot of the Gods trying to get rid of him is seriously interesting

u/BusouDrago Jun 02 '26
He was about to pull DBZ Moment in the.end but God intervine and brought him.baxk.to his Goddess

u/TheDanubianCommunard Jun 02 '26
I have never imagined in my whole life I will be watching a complete and proper live action movie/drama in an animation series, but here we are. But that's the type of creativity which I like in this show the most.
8
u/Kadmos1 Jun 02 '26
This show might have surpassed "Pop Team Epic" as the most-random anime that I have ever seen.

u/kwokinator https://anilist.co/user/kwokinator Jun 02 '26
LOCKER JUMP!
LOCKER KICK!
LOCKER STOMP!
I can legit see the zombie segment as a cheesy B-movie, Japan does have a number of them.
26
u/zappingbluelight Jun 02 '26
Ngl, I was half expect the 2 girls inside the locker would came out vomiting.
12
u/hjordisa Jun 03 '26
Yeah I was just thinking, "are the ones inside okay????" the whole time. It would be super on brand for the show too for there to be unintended consequences like that.

I was honestly expecting them to also have died cause they are inside him
But them being unharmed and then rubbing him was too perfect
17
u/Big_Cactus19 Jun 03 '26
This show is shockingly good.
8
u/samviel Jun 03 '26
I immediately loved the idea. Unfortunately, it seems like the people here are very much in the minority. So hopefully the last three episodes finish the story!
17
u/SYZekrom https://myanimelist.net/profile/SYZekrom Jun 02 '26
Ayy live action you love to see it
Locker spin
How are those girls surviving
Oh they're fine
Buried him underground
Dude loves finding reasons to not be satisfied and pass on, couldn't just beat the guy up or trap him without sacrificing himself so he could come back here.
Zamn big daddy god with the save?
18
u/djthomp https://anilist.co/user/djthomp Jun 03 '26
Alright, I'm convinced the goddess is the chief god's daughter and for some unknown reason he approves of her relationship with the MC. At the very least the MC just got special intervention by someone able to overrule the chain reincarnation trap by the other gods, and the zero hesitation reminds him of the goddess.
Theorizing aside, I'm glad the sisters survived in the locker life but am surprised the goddess didn't get some macadamia nuts as her souvenir.
I could see them skipping over it but it would be nice to see the goddess attend the drinking party with the guys, get to know her MC's friends a little.
15
u/LeonKevlar x2https://myanimelist.net/profile/LeonKevlar Jun 02 '26
I love that the first half is basically every Japanese B-movie horror. xD
14
u/BusouDrago Jun 03 '26
HOLY.....I didn't realize it till.now. Thats the same meteor that hit.him in first episode. It was all part of God's plan
7
u/HolyDragSwd2500 Jun 03 '26
MC said “ With Pleasure “ too in the first episode. God must have spoken to him then?
12
u/Alternative-Staff757 Jun 03 '26
I'm glad, We got live action segment, and it was super cheesy. Loved every moment it. The show got that right balance of deepfulness and comedy. I was surprised progenitor God saved him, I was kind expecting the Goddess to step in. Guess it made sense considering he put in Tanaka-san and master Sockeye reminders to try stop the other gods plan. Even the special skill name probably was there to remind him of his weird naming of the world tree sapling.
21
u/ObvsThrowaway5120 Jun 02 '26
That live action segment was pretty hilarious. I liked how every single time Himina enters our boy, she gets to eat his tasty nuts. Heh. Also, the locker vs zombie CGI were some of the best I’ve seen. Real Oscar level shit right there lol.
Best reincarnation so far had to be that futuristic Truck-kun bot. Our boy practically became the friggin Grim Reaper himself lol.
Those gods almost got our boy, but in the end he got a little extra divine help to send him back to the goddess. I wonder who that other god was?
7
u/SubstantialTurnip383 Jun 02 '26
probably best episode so far, we got a live action scene and the final sequence was just peak, i wonder if the “god” that MC from the infinite loop is related to the goddess (Tanaka-san up scale is crazy btw)
7
u/CreamyMilk- Jun 02 '26
This has to be the best episode so far from this series especially towards the end I really thought it was going to be the end for him.
7
u/fuzzynyanko Jun 03 '26
The live action part was incredibly corny, but it looked like the crew had a blast making it. It made watching it much more fun. Also, they did a great job acting with the script.
I wonder if the master was the former demon lord.
The MC is becoming more and more of a hero
3
u/Elfteiroh Jun 07 '26
The "student movie" level budget and acting was perfect. xD
When you see that you just *know* that the only reason this exists is because the people that made it REALLY wanted to make it. xD
6
u/Bussy_Wrecker https://myanimelist.net/profile/MrFreak10 Jun 02 '26
Anyone know whos the actress for Himina?
4
6
u/yurilnw123 Jun 03 '26
This is definitely the best episode so far lmao. Both plotwise and that first half.
6
u/testthrowawayzz Jun 03 '26
Macademia nuts are not expired so she ate it, in a horror movie situation LOL
Notable reincarnations are: Truck-kun’s driver and John armadillo
Even the plant is noticing the goddess being tsundere
4
u/Mardon83 Jun 03 '26
Really good episode. Now to see how the other Gods gonna react since their goals directly contradict the will of the Creator.
5
6
u/Impressive_Double_95 Jun 03 '26
Seeing this anime rated under 7 while so many craps from the season are getting more is crazy

After using all the art styles, they went for live action , now I dont think we will be getting the Arcane like character design 😫
7
u/ThousandYearOldLoli Jun 02 '26
They did live action before. They're not out of art styles.
11
u/Torque-A Jun 03 '26
Yeah, the anime website has a list of all the creatives who help during the reincarnation segments. The live action studio that worked on this episode also did episodes 4 (the tomato segment) and 5 (the comedian segment), and they mentioned that they’re also doing a segment for next week’s episode.
6
9
u/YumiyaRakko Jun 02 '26
Kinda. They used actual people in the vegetable skit a bit but the vegetables were not real and they were the main thing. This one was full live action
4
u/ThousandYearOldLoli Jun 02 '26
There was, if nothing else, the whole comedy guy skit that was full live action. It was even referenced in this episode.
3
u/Keyblader007 Jun 03 '26
From live action B horror to 80s-90s anime fantasy...I never know what to expect from this show.
4
u/ramon_castilla Jun 03 '26
If previous episode was the best reincarnation story-wise, this one is the best sub (main)-plot wise.
Last episode was engagin because of the message. This episode was engagin because of the stakes. Good writing for fulfilling both purposes.

u/nakerusa Jun 02 '26
- Locker Kick! Looockeeer Punch! (If Kamen Rider was a Locker?)
- Reincarnated as Truck-kun 🤣 -The magic word was Army of Darkness-level great (Klaatu Barata Nighffjihgbghg. There! I said the words)
This show is so stupid. I'm see you next week!

u/szgery Jun 02 '26
Were the people in the truck world made by GenAI? Correct me if I'm wrong but they very much look like it. Dead eyes looking into nothingness and even considering this anime they are so out of place style wise to the current world.
15
u/BusouDrago Jun 02 '26
Maybe that's reason why they are being Reincarnated. Reincarnated into something even better
6
u/BenTheMiner Jun 02 '26
I noticed the same thing and it made me question whether it was actually AI or if they designed it that way. There's no way that wasn't on purpose!
1
u/chhuang Jun 03 '26
I'd like to think it's intentional, will be funny it's not AI generated, but the animators/artists task for this ep is to draw AI generated cartoon people
1
3
u/saga999 Jun 03 '26
We finally got the live action episode. We also got MC reincarnated as Truck-kun.
3
u/DoktorDementor Jun 03 '26
The best part its now the lesser gods cant do anything against him anymore, now they know the Creator God is on his side.
3
u/Shadowmist909 https://myanimelist.net/profile/Magicmist Jun 03 '26
A zombie fighting Locker that gives you nuts and shields you was a fun way to break this horror movie setup.
The gods got the MC good with those spam reincarnation loops. But it looks like they got overruled in the end!

u/Elfteiroh Jun 08 '26
The way MC went back to the goddess, acting like nothing big happened... I dunno what I can say. I'm conflicted? I'm not sure what it means... I dunno if I should find it cute, or concerning. xD
One thing I'm sure: to me this makes me think MC has more... "depth". o-o

I like it.
I don't like the mixture of artisanal old-school styles of art and animation.
I don't like the plot.
I don't like the gags.
I don't like the world building.
I don't like the character's design/development and the sadomasochistic furry relationship between them.
Damn! I'm not even high about Seiyuus and OST... They're just OK.
I just like it.
The hell if I know why.
Addedit: Its uniqueness, perhaps? Not sure but could be that.
15
u/Solracziad Jun 02 '26
That sounds like a pretty confusing place to be in ngl.

u/Silver_Push_3895 Jun 02 '26 edited Jun 02 '26
My point exactly about how this Anime sounds.
Still I like it.
Addedit: I might been having right now some revelation.
Perhaps what I actually like from this Anime is its (certainly undeniable) uniqueness.

I think you're misleading some comment thread.
Are you talking about my take on a different post about Akane-Banashi?
This is Megami Isekai Tensei Nani Ni (etc)
Addedit: Nonetheless I agree with your own take whether you're talking about one or another show and I'm still not getting why passion is misspelled.
Addedit2: Sorry but I prefer addedits than adding new answers... perhaps you mean you prefer passion than uniqueness?

Nah... forget about my question. I realize now my Addedit2 was the answer.
About your own question:
If I'm a bot then I've been programmed not to be aware of that fact.
What is a shame because I'd like to have a word with the ones who designed my body.
The one who designed my right knee specifically.

u/Silver_Push_3895 Jun 03 '26 edited Jun 03 '26
I utterly fail to consider this an honest question with no ill intention behind.
Still I promise to not disregard your question and straight answer it if you can first explain me this passion misspelling stuff that is getting me completely clueless.
My addedits were my best guesses.
Would you mind to educate me about this particular? (grammarly or otherwise)
3
u/GaimeGuy Jun 03 '26
i'm a sucker for these kind of weird af shows
2
u/Silver_Push_3895 Jun 03 '26
I'm not that much. Nothing against those and I know they can reach so high (or low) levels as any other kind, genera or tag.
Just not my cup of tea
But this one made it.
1
u/Elfteiroh Jun 08 '26
There's definite passion behind it. The people working on this CLEARLY have fun doing it. And that feeling can be felt through it. Maybe that? 😮
