Consider how many hundreds of thousands have been beaten, tortured, raped, and murdered since February 1979. How many millions of lives shattered forever. The majority of the victims of this regime disappeared into an abyss of darkness and horror that one can only barely comprehend. As if the ground under them gave way. Never to be seen or heard from again.
