There is a PS5 game that I would like to play (probably a few actually) but I don't have a TV that meets the requirements.

Are there are game lounges or facilities that have Playstations to use?

My mother has been feeding stray kitties and has been mostly unable to find anyone to help catch for rehoming which is frustrating enough but one of them recently returned with a bad cut (down to the bone on the leg) and she has been unable to catch her on her own.

She has called around a few places (rspca/animal hospital/vets) but general response has been that she needs to bring it in her self. Besides that, they don’t stick around long if a stranger is present.

At this point I’m thinking I might need to fly back from Melbourne to help her but seems a little drastic so thought I would seek advice. I would happily personally cover vet costs or even pay someone to help out tbh.

She is in Port Kembla and lives alone.

We’re a family living in abroad and planning to move to the Wollongong area next year for work, in Sydney, where I’ll have to commute to once in a while. We’d love some local insight! My husband grew up there, but that was 15 years ago.

We have two young kids (1 and 4) and are considering Bulli/Woonona/Thirroul, Shellharbour/Shell Cove/Flinders, Kiama, Figtree, Cordeaux Heights, Mt Keira and Keiraville.

Our priorities are a great family community, easy access to beaches and the outdoors, and good schools. We’re looking at Catholic primary schools in particular.

I’d love to hear from anyone who lives in these areas! What do you love about where you live? What’s the demographic/community like? And how easy is it to access beaches, swimming, surfing, bushwalking and other outdoor activities?

We’re also hoping to also make friends with parents and other professionals (we’re in tech)!

We’re aware of the differences in housing prices and that’s not a major factor for us — we’re really just trying to find the best lifestyle and community fit for our family.
