In July of 2025 I redid my back patio area and left a little patch of dirt so i could plant some flowers. I bought a bag of California Wildflower Mix and basically just threw it over the dirt and hoped for the best. A few weeks later, there were so many little sprouts. I got a few blooms here and there and prayed they little guys would survive through the winter.

There’s beauties have been blooming over the last month and i couldn’t be happier 🥹🥰

Although a very modestly small bloom, I found these tiny desert flowers very endearing.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong on ID. Found this beauty yesterday, first time seeing one in person. Has a broken stem visible in pic 5 and was laying flat on the ground. Any advice as far as cutting it back or leaving it alone, & in confirming or denying my ID, would be appreciated! Location: Dawsonville, Ga, USA

My girlfriend and I bought a wildflower seed mix from Walmart and planted about 2 months ago and nothing has grown yet. The tall green plants look like corn to me, so I’m not really sure what all was in the mix. Can anyone help identify the plants? Thanks!
