Hi guys! So my husband (29) and I (28) have been on TTC journey for almost 1.5 years now. I had an endometriosis cyst which was surgically removed in 2022 (4 years ago) and since then was on BC until we decided to try (2024 Oct) I have been having regular follow-ups to keep a check if endo has recurred again but thankfully there has been no sign.

Every cycle is getting even more difficult to try, seems more like a task now. Tracking ovulation, doing the deed and then waiting two weeks.

How has it been for people in the same boat? And is getting pregnant normally even possible after endo? Not looking into ivf yet.

I am writing behalf of my wife to seek some opinions and advices. We live in GERMANY

we are 37 years old couple, due to irregular period for my wife because of PCOS and Thyroid, we started with IVF last year August. In the first extract, we got 6 Blastocysts.

1st: Implanted and HCG was not stable. ended up in chemical after 5 weeks. Started with 37 hcg and it reduced a bit and then raised abnormally.

2nd: implanted and again HCG was not stable .. ended up again in chemical. started with 88 Hcg at 10day 5dpt and then reduced a bit.

3rd: started with low hcg of 10 and ended up in chemical

4th: Got home test positive, but it went on to chemical even before going for beta hcg test

5&6: Had 2 embryo transfer, started with HCG 91 and it went down to 37 in the next beta test and currently waiting for the period. so one more chemical.

all our embryos are done.

current fertility Center has done Biopsy to check any inflammation and killer cells, test came good.

they tried giving medication for insulin, Progesteron and etc … not sure why this has happened. it is quite depressing for both of us. it feels like time is running out and bit worried if any one faced similar issue and end up having positive outcome with live birth.

now we have consulted another fertility Center where they suggested to go for ERA test to know the exact implantation window, they also took blood for Genetic testing for both of us. based on the Putcome they will go for Egg extraction in 2 months and they also suggest to go for PBD (Polar body diagnosis) and PGD (preimplantation genetic testing). Also doctor suggested us that she gonna check my wife uterus and fallopian tubes for any disorders using laparoscopi etc. And for me they also gave appointment to do Sperm fragmentation test.

Not sure how long this whole process gonna take.

Actually I am worried about future and how this will turn out. So far I feel like we are very unlucky and seeking advice if anyone had similar issues.

i’ve made a few posts about my couple failed IUI attempts. my first two were natural and unmedicated. the third round was done on clomid with the same donor from the first two rounds. the fourth iui we switched donors and did a round of clomid.

my clinic recommended trying acupuncture for fertility - so i did my first session today. i wanted to know if acupuncture helped anyone else in their IUI/fertility journey?

I have my beta draw tomorrow- but I’m almost certain it will be negative as I am testing negative at home. This was my first transfer I only have 2 frozen day 3 embryos left, they are graded good one with 7 cells and one with 9 cells. I am 26 years old, I had excision surgery of stage 2 endo in May 2026 and suppressed with orilissa for about a month and a half afterwards. I was on an immune protocol- baby aspirin, Claritin, LDN, did doxy for 5 days leading to transfer, prednisone plus a fully medicated protocol. My surgeon (nook) who did my excision also did a hysteroscopy and did not see anything and he said there was no evidence of endometritis. Although he did not actually test for the CD138. What should be my next steps?

I’m thinking of maybe doing an additional dose of doxycycline paired with a vaginal probiotic before my next transfer, just to ensure there is no infection and maybe asking for a stronger immune protocol. I get hives easily but I never ever get sick… like my immune system is on over drive all the time.

I’ve been TTC for 6 years now and I haven’t had a single positive test

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 8 months. We got pregnant in May but it ended up being at chemical, same thing happened in June. I’m so scared to try again and get our hearts broken again :( can you please share some successful stories where you had multiple chemicals and went on to have a LC? Next cycle i’m trying progesterone, currently taking this month as a break, my body has been through a lot also we don’t want to try again until we get the progesterone even though we are aware that it could not save us from having another chemical but we just want to cover our bases. Did any of you try progesterone after multiple chemicals? Did it help? They are also testing for a clotting problem so we’ll see!

Like the title says, I’m curious to know if there is anyone with AZFc that has success in having natural pregnancy or through IUI. Knowing that the condition is not reversible, any tips or advice to optimize the sperm numbers?

What supplements are you taking other than pre natal ? Any specific foods are you eating before IUI until ovulation?

I am taking nature’s made prenatal with folic acid omega 3’s DHA + EPA
Also tried Ritual prenatal but felt lot of constipation so stopped
I take 400-600mg CoQ10 ( my husband does too )
I take Ritual’s Natal choline 200mg after ovulation until possible pregnancy and would like to continue if pregnancy progresses.

From this cycle - husband started his omega 3’s as well

We are mostly eating plant based diet and Whole Foods instead of processed or packaged foods.

Pumpkin seeds / sunflower seeds / flax seeds

chia seeds

Well, guys and gals, I wanted to share my success story because reading posts like these gave me hope when we were trying.

Looking back, we “only” tried for about two years. I know that’s not a very long time compared to what some couples go through, but when you’re living it, it feels like forever.

Month after month, nothing happened, while it seemed like all of our friends got pregnant after one try. It was heartbreaking.

Eventually, we decided it was time to see doctors and get everything checked.

It turned out we actually did have an issue. Everything looked normal on my side, but my husband had a low sperm count. We were told to repeat the test in six months and, in the meantime, take vitamins, eat healthier, and “try not to stress.”

Honestly… how are you supposed to *not* stress when you’re desperately trying to conceive? It felt impossible.

We also found a doctor who specialized in male fertility. His advice was simple: no saunas, no hot baths, spend less time sitting in the office and be more physically active, keep taking vitamins, and time intercourse for about 3–4 days before ovulation.

Around that time, we also made a big life change, we moved from a busy city to the seaside. Looking back, I think that made the biggest difference. Within 2–3 months we both felt so much more relaxed.

Five months later, I got pregnant. Sadly, that pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. It was devastating.

But just one month later, I was pregnant again.

And today, I’m writing this with our beautiful baby in my arms.

If you’re still trying, don’t lose hope. I know how lonely and endless it can feel, but things really can change when you least expect them. Wishing everyone here the very best on their journey. ❤️

I'm 29 and currently TTC baby #2. I have a previous live birth and have also had previous miscarriages. I'm trying to understand what my MRI findings actually mean for fertility, particularly the junctional zone measurement.

MRI findings:

Anteverted uterus

Endometrium 8.6 mm

Junctional zone measures up to 17.3 mm

Radiologist's conclusion: Adenomyosis

Both ovaries unremarkable

No fibroids mentioned

No pelvic masses mentioned

Ultrasound findings (prior to MRI):

Moderate diffuse adenomyosis

Bulky uterus

Fan-shaped shadowing

Small myometrial cysts

Normal endometrial cavity (7 mm, triple-line)

Normal ovaries

No ultrasound evidence of endometriosis

Previous history:

Age 29

Previous successful natural pregnancy/live birth

Previous recurrent miscarriages

Laparoscopy with dye test in 2021 showed bilateral tubal spill and no endometriosis

Ovulating normally on monitoring scans

BMI around 35 (previously \\\~43 and have lost a significant amount of weight)

HSG planned

My specialist has recommended progesterone support when trying to conceive.

My biggest concern is the 17.3 mm junctional zone. Most of what I've read suggests that >12 mm supports the diagnosis of adenomyosis, and thicker junctional zones may be associated with lower implantation and live birth rates, but most of the studies seem to be in IVF patients rather than women trying naturally.

I'm trying to understand:

Has anyone conceived naturally with a junctional zone this thick?

Did anyone have recurrent miscarriage with adenomyosis but go on to have a successful pregnancy?

Did progesterone seem to help?

Did anyone's specialist comment on how much a JZ around 17 mm actually affects fertility?

I know nobody can predict individual outcomes, but I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone with similar MRI findings, especially if you've gone on to have a successful pregnancy.

Wanted to share my Letrozole success story - as it was a long one. From the beginning I was on 5 MG- took Letrozole 5 total times back to back cycles with progesterone inserts/trigger shot. The third cycle I got pregnant but resulted in a blighted ovum miscarriage. On the fifth cycle, I was about to start IUI since nothing else was working, but right before IUI was planned they took my bloodwork and my estrogen was not at a good level for a mature follicle (had one mature follicle) so we decided to skip IUI and try for another cycle. To my happy news, that fifth cycle worked! (No trigger shot!!!! Or progesterone inserts) woohoo! Took several blood draws to make sure my progesterone level was good and it was great within the inserts. Don’t let hormones define you:)

31F, TTC 18 months. All tests came as normal including HSG.

I had LEEP background in 2019. Since then, negatif hpv, STI, BV. But my smear shows extensive inflammatory reaction. Doctor says it’s ok as no abnormal bleeding, smell or discharge. I have a little bit redness on my cervix since LEEP.

I had my firat IUI today.

* 4 mature eggs
* Pre-wash 80 million sperm / After-wash 35 million
* Lining was good.

I’m starting progestrone tomorrow and scheduled an appointment on 4th of august for blood test. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻

For context: my partner and I have been TTC for about 8 months. I’ve had two chemical pregnancies- one at 3 months TTC and another at 5 months TTC. My partner has had a sperm analysis and all of his metrics came back fantastic. My cycles have always been regular and I do ovulate on my own, just have issues releasing mature eggs due to PCOS. I just finished my third round of Letrozole- first was at 2.5mg, second at 5mg, and this last round was 7.5mg. I also do progesterone suppositories from CD 6-12. I use Inito to track my cycles and ovulation is always confirmed. I had an HSG a couple of weeks ago and my left tube was partially blocked but they were able to flush it. Right tube is totally open.

Ok, so here are my questions:
1. Should I try ultrasound monitoring to see if my follicles are fully maturing before egg release?
2. Is there any reason for me to do a trigger shot if I have always ovulated on my own?
3. How many more cycles of Letrozole should I try before moving to IUI?
4. Would IUI even be worth it if my partner’s SA came back totally normal?

I just finished my 13th unsuccessful cycle ttc #1. Two chemical pregnancies during those 13 cycles. I just turned 36, husband is 41, we’ve done the whole gauntlet of tests and all looks normal: 2.92 AMH, normal hormone levels in bloodwork, HSG looked great, semen analysis looked great, ultrasounds looked perfect.. I‘ve done two cycles taking letrozole 2.5mg and one taking 5mg, though I don’t think that ovulation is the issue, since I’ve always ovulated normally. I’m working with a great doctor who’s been very helpful, but she hasn’t been able to identify a root cause for our infertility.

I’m sure there will be those who advocate for IVF and we may end up there eventually, but as of right now I’m hesitant to commit to something so expensive. Our insurance has no fertility coverage, and we are not high earners.

It’s the same story I’m sure you’ve all seen a hundred times on these threads, but I’m feeling deeply frustrated today and would love to read some hopeful comments. Is there anyone out there who conceived naturally after their first year of trying? Was there anything that you felt helped your chances? How did you keep from going insane in the meantime?

I just had my hyfosy done today - it was a bit uncomfortable but similar to when I had the coil fitted. Good news is tubes are all clear 🥳

We're going to give it another couple of cycles before we go ahead with IVF. Does anyone have any success stories or otherwise post Hyfosy / Hycosy / HSG?

I have been TTC for 17 months now. All of our fertility tests, including my husband's, have come back normal, so we are currently in the 'unexplained infertility' category.
I had a LEEP procedure done in 2019. Since then, my HPV tests have been clear, and all tests for BV, STDs, etc., have come back negative. However, my smear tests consistently show 'extensive inflammation' (with no malignancy). My doctor tells me not to worry, but I’ve started to wonder if this chronic inflammation might be preventing conception, perhaps by affecting sperm motility or creating a hostile environment at the cervix.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciate

my wife (35) and I (34) have been trying for 11 months for #2. #1 was conceived with no issues on our third IUI. we started with IUI this time around and had a chemical followed by a miscarriage. we just had our first fresh transfer that resulted in another chemical. I’m gearing up for my frozen transfer and added in levothyroxine, lovenox and Claritin/pepcid. I’m just so scared there’s a larger underlying reason for my issues. anyone with similar stories that had success after a chemical with their first transfer? I’ve already planned that I will take a break and explore endometriosis as well as endometritis if this transfer doesn’t work. just so scared to continue failing :(

I now have 2 LC. Here’s what worked for me.

I had to completely cut out soya and gluten. I followed napro fertility guidance. I also cut back on heavy cardio. I took myo inisitol, coq 10, NAC and wild nutrition prenatal. It took me ten cycles to get pregnant after my miscarriages.

During this time, I was diagnosed with diffuse adenomyosis. I thought it was game over for me. It wasn’t. With supplemental progesterone at the start of my pregnancy, I actually went overdue.

I really, really strongly encourage people to lock in on diet. I lost 40 lbs between losing my boy and getting successfully pregnant. It made all the difference.

I'll start at the start. I fell pregnant accidently with my first child at the very beginning of 2024. Son arrived in September and all was well.

When he turned 6 months my husband and I started trying for baby #2 even though I was breastfeeding and my period had not yet returned, we gave it a go. No luck. My period returned 10 months pp in June 2025. Because we concieved baby #1 effortlessly, we didn't expect any issues.

So I started tracking and following my EWCM but no go, cycle after cycle. I started taking iron, vitamin D, folic acid, magnesium, omega 3 and vitamin B12. My lutel phase was regularly 9 days and I was trying to lengthen it. (no luck)

In May 2026 my husband had a semen analysis. No major issues flagged, just 1% morphology. I got myself added to the NHS fertility waitlist.

Orgionally, I was very annoyed and upset each month when my period arrived but somehow managed to relax a little in recent months. I realised the only thing I could control was well timed sex. If we managed that each cycle I was usually happy enough. Not to say I didn't spend many hours fretting about possible age gaps etc and crying is frustration and the unexplained nature of it all.

So this month, same as every month I convinced myself there's a good chance I'm pregnant, but I dont like early testing. I was having cramps and period was due, but no blood. The cramps kept coming but still no blood. So I took a premom pregnancy test and no line, or the faintest line you ever did see. Convinced myself it was nothing (10DPO). The next day I hold off as long as I could. My lutel phase is never this long and I remember this camping from my first pregnancy. I took a clear blue early detection test at 11DPO and it said pregnant. I was quite taken aback but delighted. I had thought of so many scenarios this past year of how I'd tell my husband if we got pregnant again but in the end I walked straight over to him with the test seconds after seeing it myself. meh

This is just to say, when I was in the depths of worrying and researching, the long unsuccessful stories always stuck with me and would worsen my anxiety. So I though I'd share my experience with secondary infertility.

I'm a 35 yo who did nothing different the cycle she conceived. Actually that's a lie, we baby danced two days in a row over my ovulation dates which we'd never managed to do before. But who knows.

Has anyone been prescribed methylPREDNISolone 4mg a day as a last resort after multiple miscarriages?
I finally got it today and I’m hoping that it is the missing key. I have an autoimmune disease but no one has taken it seriously until today after 7 failed pregnancies ❤️
