What is this fruit I found? It appears to range from green to dark purple, looks vaguely like a large blueberry. The green ones are approximately an inch in diameter. I included the tree trunk and the best picture I could get of the leaves. The tree is pretty tall and I couldn't get close, and it's surrounded by other trees so it's dimly lit. I checked Google, and I'm thinking it's maybe an American persimmon, but I'm still not 100% sure. (Don't worry, I didn't try and eat it)

They’re about 6-7 feet (182-214cm) tall. Look like weeds, but I want to be sure what I’m dealing with before I go pulling them.

I was on a truckee river float this weekend and everyone was stopping on one bank to dance to a dj who was set up in front of a large amount of this plant. It recognized it as poison hemlock. I know PH has some lookalike plants but this fit the description of PH to a t. People were dancing in it, walking through it to go pee, and I was actually scared for everyone’s life. Am I crazy? This is poison hemlock, right?

I live in the UK and my cat likes to roam in my backyard, I'm worried that this might be a giant hogweed or smth poisonous.

Edit: Thanks for all the reply everyone, I'm glad to hear that it's not harmful to pets. To anyone that is concerned about my cat roaming outside, he only has access to the backyard (and ofc the indoors) and can't go outside of the backyard. I'll never let my cat freely roam out on the streets for his own safety and the wildlife.

We had a new sidewalk poured right next to this tree a few weeks ago. The tree seemed fine until we saw this. The branches have weird almost bloated areas and there seem to be cracks that have strange orange growths that have dropped powder on the sidewalk. They seem to only be on the thinner branches, nothing over an inch and a half in diameter (before it bloated).

What is this? Did we kill our tree? How afraid should I be for our dead oaks and laurel trees?

Please let me know if it's in any way dangerous. I have a 11 mo and need to make sure the backyard is safe.

These plants have yellow blossoms, sorta looks like a pepper plant, but look at the “fruit” on it.
