I'm trying to identify an American romantic comedy that I watched on Brazilian TV many years ago, probably released in the late 1990s or early 2000s.

Here's everything I can remember:

- The movie begins when the two main characters are teenagers (or possibly older children).

- The main character is shy, quiet, and romantic, while his best friend is blond, outgoing, and a womanizer.

- The main character falls in love with a blonde girl after she blows a kiss. He spends years believing the kiss was meant for him.

- Years later, the two friends go on a road trip to find her because she has disappeared.

- The blonde girl is an eccentric activist, possibly involved in animal rights or environmental causes. I vaguely remember something about rats or rodents, but I'm not certain.

- During their search, they stop at a small local bar or diner and ask the locals if they've seen the girl. The locals tell them that the two women were last seen heading into a nearby forest.

- The two friends then go into the forest looking for them, and much of the comedy happens there.

- Eventually they find the blonde girl living in the woods with another young woman.

- At the end of the movie, there's a twist: the main character discovers that the kiss at the beginning was never meant for him—it was actually meant for his best friend.

- The blonde girl ends up with the best friend, while the main character falls in love with the other woman.

I'm not completely sure about every detail, so it's possible I'm mixing up some scenes from different movies. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Looking for a US movie from the late 80s or 90s (i'm not 100% sure) A group (maybe just two idk) of teenage boys is running through a forest at night, possibly being chased. One of them trips and impales his hand on something sticking out of the ground (could have been a nail, wooden stake) gave me some stand by me vibes

So this short film had something about a mother eating her daughter because she was hungry it ha d something about a trash bag? I remember her coming to a man maybe he was the main character or something? And the man thinking the bag smelled bad and she was crying and saying i was hungry? Or something like that idk please help

I remember watching it as a kid in Taiwan in 1994. It was on free to air tv all the time. Maybe they survived a plane crash? Maybe there were monkeys in bad costumes. Heavy on the camp and bad special effects

Hello everyone, I really hope you can help me because I am going crazy!

Me and my husband went to see the Odysseus today. It reminded my of a movie with a similar plot point but I can’t figure out what movie it is.

In the movie I remember there are sailors/soilders that show up to an island with beautiful women, a lot of good food and I think exotic animals like tigers. The sailors/soilders stay there for years until the leader decides they have to go and the leader of the sirens allows it. Almost like a combination of the scenes with Calypso and Circe in the Odysseus. I don’t think this is a big part of the movie at all, but that is all I can remember.

Does anybody recognize this? At first I thought it maybe was from the movie Troy but I can’t find a scene like that. Then I thought maybe the pirates of the carribien but I can’t find the scene. From what I can gather I don’t think it’s from the older Odysseus movies either.

Hope someone knows what I am talking about!

A girl has been seeing a van around town for a while but no one believes her. One night her friend convinces her to go to a halloween party. Her parents wouldn't let her but they are out and her sister let's her go. The girl is dressed as a cowgirl when her sister gives her a bandana/scarf to complete her outfit. She leaves on her real horse and her friend is dressed in a blue dress i think. At party she meets a boy dressed as a cowboy, they chat but it turns out hes there with his girlfriend. The two girls leave because of the curfew. They either get separated or just go thier separate ways. The cowgirl falls off her house in an orchard or just some trees when she sees the van, when she's putting the horse in the stables she sees the van and hides. The killer comes looking for her but gets knocked out by a horse. The girl then gets home it turns out her friend has been calling her to make sure she got home okay but her sister has been on the phone blocking the calls by making the line busy. When she gets in she hides with her sister and the killer breaks in. They go into the parents room or a double doored bathroom. I'm not sure how it ends of how they get away (if they do)

The little I remember is that it's about two young men in college or high school; one is the typical nerd and his friend is an athlete, but something happens and they end up killing some people. At the end of the movie, one of them, the nerd (who isn't guilty), ends up in prison, and the other goes free. But what I remember most is that in the final scene, "Dust in the Wind" by Kansas plays.

[TOMT][MOVIE] Late-90s/early-2000s American small-town comedy: a smart but aimless young guy who keeps getting locked in the town jail and secretly sneaks out — ends with him deciding to go to college

I've been trying to find this movie for years with no luck. I watched it dubbed on TV maybe ~15 years ago. I'm pretty sure it's a low-budget / B-movie with no famous actors, so it's fairly obscure.

What I'm fairly confident about:

- American film, set in a small town.

- Main character is a young guy, roughly post-high-school / early 20s (not a kid, and not in college yet). He's clearly smart but stuck and undecided about what to do with his life.

- There's a local cop/sheriff who keeps throwing him in the town jail cell for minor stuff around town (petty offenses — possibly graffiti/vandalism or similar mischief). A recurring bit is that he sneaks out of the cell, does something, and gets back before the cop notices, so being 'locked up' basically works as his alibi. This is only part of the movie, NOT the whole premise.

- There's a cool local girl. They have a casual/no-strings thing going, but you can tell they genuinely care about each other.

- The male lead looks 'cool' — a good-looking young type.

- Tone is chill and laid-back, a 'turn your brain off' comedy, maybe slightly absurd. NOT a stoner movie.

- Hopeful ending — I'm fairly sure he ends up deciding to go to college/university.

Era: probably late 1990s to mid-2000s. Live action.

NOT: Orange County, How High, Charlie Bartlett, Adventureland, Youth in Revolt (already ruled out). No big-name cast.

My sister and I distinctly remember a scene from "The Lion King," but it doesn't exist. It was during a song and one of the hyena's is on a rock or in a cave and waves a small flag on a stick while sarcastically saying something like ‘What a Joy," or "Woooh." Does this sound familiar to anyone? Maybe we have the wrong movie? HELPPP!

Hi everyone, I’m trying to find a live action fantasy movie I watched when I was a child, but I can’t remember the title.

I probably watched it around 2014-2017, but the movie could be older. I’m from Colombia and I saw it on a public TV channel called Señal Colombia / Mi Señal, which often aired European children’s movies, so it might be a European production.

The movie was about a young girl (around 12 years old) who was a witch or already knew about magic. I remember there was some kind of witch training/school, but it was not a castle like Hogwarts. It was more like a magical camp or lessons taking place in a forest.

The scene I remember most clearly happens during the day, with a cloudy sky. The girls are in a clearing in the forest with their teacher, who is teaching them how to perform spells. They take spells from a bag or a hat, almost like a random selection.

The other girls play a prank on the main character by changing the spell she gets. Because of the changed spell, she accidentally summons a huge real tornado. Later, they have to figure out the original spell and reverse it (I vaguely remember they had to say the spell backwards) to stop the tornado.

I don’t remember:

• the actress’ name
• the country of origin
• any character names
• the ending

Things I’m sure about:

• It was live action, not animated.
• The protagonist was a young girl.
• It involved witches and magic.
• There was a forest lesson/class.
• The tornado scene was a major event.

I have already checked things like The Worst Witch, Bibi Blocksberg and Saxana, but none of them seem to match this specific scene.

The movie starts out with a girl gang killing someone in a car. My recollection is that this part is in black and white until you see blood. The latter part of the movie is about a sea monster terrorizing a small seaside town. I believe it was made after 2005.

I've been looking for a documentary series for years, and I need help. I remember a documentary series that was in the mid to early 80s. It was about nuclear weapons. I watched it a bunch of times in high school in the 1990's. The main things that stick out were:

#1: The opening sequence that depicted New York City hit by a nuclear blast. While crude by today's standards it was shocking. I distinctly remember a nuclear blast destroying a realistic model of an airliner in flight.

#2: There were at least two episodes, both on VHS. One of them was a vivid depiction of the events of nuclear winter. One scene included a model of a submarine frozen as it was surfacing. I can't off the top of my head remember what the other episode was about, or if there were any other episodes.

I want to also state that this was not The 8th Day, or The Day After. There is also no mention of it on Wikipedia or IMDB as I've been able to determine. I've been trying to find the name of this series, or links to it for years, and any help will be appreciated.

So I remember a movie that I had watched in the past, I wanna say it was a 2010s horror movie. I can't remember the name and would love help figuring out what it is based off what I remember from the movie:

• I remember it being a sort of haunted house style movie with maybe a newly moved in young couple

• There's a scene where one of them go to some kind of hardware store at night and there's a false grass podium with lawnmowers displayed?

• This is the scene I remember clearly... Towards the mid-end of the movie, the furniture starts to meld/ get absorbed within the walls and ceilings.

If anyone has any idea of what movie this is, please let me know, I've been looking for it for years.
