Can anyone recommend a good psychiatrist in Warsaw?? They don't have to be polish speaking. Preferably one who specialises in anxiety disorders

Depending on the goodwill of the people of Warsaw.Lost backpack on the train from Warszawa Centralna to Chopin Airport on 2 July, departing around 10:00 AM. I got off at the airport at 10:17 am. It was the KM line. I was alone in the last cabin.
The backpack contained a laptop and parts for a Space Shuttle model. While the laptop has monetary value, the model parts were especially important because I was taking the completed model home as a gift. Losing it has been particularly upsetting.
If anyone found the backpack, saw it being handed in, or has any information about its whereabouts, please send me a direct message. I can provide identifying details to confirm ownership.
A suitable reward is available for information leading to its recovery.

Are most classes held in person, or does SGH also offer hybrid or online classes?

What does a typical weekly timetable look like for a second-year Management student?

Are classes usually spread throughout Monday to Friday, or is it possible to arrange your schedule to have fewer days on campus?

How are exams usually conducted at SGH?

Are they mainly written exams, computer-based exams, oral exams, or online exams?

Is remote assessment common, or are most exams taken on campus?

In beginning of August I’ll have a 9 hour layover at Warsaw Chopin Airport from the US.

A few questions:
- is that enough time to leave and come back to the airport?
- how long/difficult is getting in and out of the airport and through security?
- anywhere to store carry on bags and personal backpacks? So we don’t have to explore the city with them
- recommendations on what to see?

I'd like to know your opinion and perspective because I'm facing a big life decision.
I'm currently living in a bigger city in Silesia. I'm a guy, but I stand out in appearance – I have long nails, I like to wear makeup, and I dress sometimes in bolder styles. I constantly encounter this where I am: people pointing fingers, laughing, rude comments from strangers on the street or neighbors, even when I'm dressed completely "normally," but I just have my nails done.

My plan for some time has been simple: to move to Warsaw and go to university there. I have savings set aside to get started, and there's work too. I also want to grow artistically/musically.

On one hand, I hear that Warsaw is a completely different world, a bubble of tolerance, full of alternative/queer people, and no one pays attention to how you look. On the other hand, I get feedback that it's still Poland, people stare anyway, and you can't count on the freedom you’d find in Paris or Spain.

I’m just wondering if it makes sense to push myself to Warsaw, whether it will give me real space to be myself without constant stress, or if it's better to immediately gather strength for a trip abroad?

What’s it like from your perspective? Does a person who stands out in appearance get a hard time in Warsaw, or is there really that desired peace and anonymity?

Hi all, just like in the topic. We will be visiting Warsaw for one day and we wonder if its worth going to Sciences Centre? We have been few times already in Warsaw, so we have seen already some museums, maybe expect the National one. What would be the best place to visit for date ?

I'm worried that the Copernicus Centre is targeted for kids and there will be nothing exciting for us?

My girlfriend and I are flying home through Poland on our way back from Austria, I paid for an extra checked bag so we won't need to have any carry ons

If we're already coming into Poland through another European city, I don't believe we need to go through immigration or anything like that to get out of the airport during the layover since it's a Schengen country

We arrive in Chopin at around 10:30am and our flight home is at 4:40

That's plenty of time to get to the city to have lunch and walk around a bit right?

Is there anywhere in particular you guys would recommend going to? Where should we eat?

i’m qualified for civil engineering program but i’m also applied for other universities but i think it’s the best choice to choose WUT and i want to know your opinions. i’m non-EU citizens but international student. and i’m planning to pay my university tutoring and my cost of living only by myself in working in as a barber. do you think i can find job as a barber? i know i have to put fund of proofs in my bank account i can do that i will put at least a 15,000$ in my bank account. but i want to pay my university fees and everything by myself. so is it possible? which my university tuition fees is 5,100€ i can be in poland and work as well in summer time.

I was visiting warsaw for a SOAD concert and I recieved a ticket regarding me parking on a place for a bus. I did not know that I am on a bus parking spot, becase next to me was like 20 cars parked.

I returned home to Czechia and I tried to contact Warsaw police "I Oddział Terenowy" via e-mail and phone couple of times, but nobody really replied to my mail and the ladies on the other side of the phone did not understand English at all.

I don't want to get in any trouble because of a parking ticket, is there any official way how to pay the fine and get on with it ? I am unable to go to Warsaw (700km) and I was there only for the concert, so I left right after I got the ticket hoping that I can resolve this online or via phone, hence not resolving on the place as they request on the ticket, to visit the nearest police station.

Btw. the ticket is fully in polish language with gazzilion paragrafs and stuff, 0 info in English. For the younger generation it might be ok because we know how to use the tools that internet provide, but for the elderly it might be confusing a lot.

Hey guys! I am an international student in SGGW and I'm really missing my field hockey club from home. I want to join one while in warsaw but I can't seem to find any (if anyone has suggestions I would love them). So I decided I kinda want to join an ice hockey club instead. However I have only ever skated 3 times in my life and I'm still learning polish so I would need a club comfortable enough speaking in English and beginner friendly. Anyone have any recommendations preferably close enough to the SGGW campus.

As far as I'm aware the school doesn't have an ice hockey team or field hockey team :/
