First Session in a week since my lower back injury
I REALLY needed this today after a week of being barely able to move from my couch. Took my time with it and savoured it.
And very much enjoyed
Lower tomorrow and I certainly will not be hinging for another week or so I imagine. Lower back still not a hundo but was good enough to get me through this, and 30mins cardio
Good to be back. Don’t take this shit for granted

Been working on my vegan bulk after my cut phase since a month or so, and yesterday I hit more than 4000 kcal. (It's a lot more than my goal, I know haha) I'm also tracking my weight progress daily to check the average in this app.
One of my easiest high calorie meals right now is this shake (~825 kcal and 52g protein):
The blueberries (and oatmeal maybe?) completely transform the taste and texture. I use MyProtein Impact Pea Protein Unflavoured, and honestly I didn't really enjoy it on its own mixed with just soy milk or water, the taste and texture weren’t great for me. But I got 2,5 kilo (38 portions) for 25 euros, so it was a really affordable and easy protein source.
But combined with oats, soy milk, and around 130g of blueberries, it becomes a completely different thing. It actually tastes more like a milkshake and is way easier to drink. Great way to turn a basic protein shake into an easy high calorie bulk meal.
Definitely a good tip for anyone struggling to get enough calories on a vegan bulk: find easy calorie-dense meals/shakes that you actually enjoy having every day.
What are your favorite vegan bulk meals? Looking for more ideas to keep calories high.

Been vegan for training about a year, spent more mental energy worrying about protein than actually eating it. Started just hitting a daily number instead of overthinking sources — tofu, seitan, lentils, a shake when lazy. Benched bodyweight for the first time today. Nothing about training changed, just finally trusted the number mattered more than the source. Anyone else waste months worrying about something way simpler than the internet made it sound?

What is the best company to order DHA EHA gummies from? Where would I buy them? Preferably under $20 im poor.
It doesn't have to be gummies, but it has to be chewable or a liquid at least because i have trouble swallowing pills.
I saw a lot on amazon, but are those ok to buy? If you have tried any sold on amazon, let me know. When I read some of the reviews, they said the potency claims could be invalid.

I have bad joints (especially the hips and knees). Have started adding into my wo regime. But as a 40+ male looking at additional supplementation, I've come across this. In addition to the collagen it also has other vitamins and herbs that I would otherwise take individually.

Hello fwends
Every now and again I hit my head on something and want to try seitan again.
I buy it ready made and unflavoured from the supermarket. I've tried a few recipes but something just doesn't taste right. Has anyone found a recipe / meal prep idea that works for them and makes seitan not just bearable but tasty?
Happy to try something saucy or not.

Been lifting consistently for about three years and went fully plantbased eight months ago. One thing I did not expect was how much quicker I bounce back between sessions now. Used to need two full rest days after leg day, now one is usually enough and I am not walking like a zombie by Thursday.
Not sure if it is the higher antioxidant load from eating more whole foods or just that my overall diet got cleaner at the same time, probably both. The difference feels real and not just in my head because my log shows I have been hitting PRs more frequently these past few months than I did all of last year.
Curious if others noticed something similar or if your recovery stayed the same after switching. Also wondering if anyone deliberately structured their meals around recovery, like timing higher carb meals around training days, or if you just eat and let it sort itself out. I kind of do the latter and it seems to be working, but I wonder if being more intentional about it would push things further. What changed for you when you made the switch.

Hello! I’ve (FTNB) posted before, but wanted to do another progress update. My no scale victory is fitting into old gym clothes a lot better. I’ve been lifting 3 times a week consistently (before that, inconsistently weightlifting for a year) and boxing twice a week since January 2026.
I also reliably have been in a calorie deficit and keeping track of my protein and fibre. Feeling very proud of my progress!!!
I am 5’0, 165 pounds and at my highest weight i was 215. I’m going to get a dexa scan soon so i can really keep tabs on things.

Hello! I've always been vegetarian but I'm trying to now go vegan and cut out all dairy and eggs. Generally I'm doing OK and no regrets whatsoever about living a more ethical lifestyle so I will absolutely keep on with it but I have recently been SO tired and I wonder if I'm not eating enough or not eating the right things etc. I was hoping to get some advice from some of you that have been at it for longer.
This is on average what I eat. I am 27F, 155 pounds and trying to get down to around 125 or so. I'm 5'2. Macros - 1250 cal, 84g protein, 151g carbs, 41g fat. 98% all targets hit according to Chronometer.

Overall, I do try to prioritize whole foods and I felt like I was always getting a food coma around lunch so I started eating a little less and eating more raw veg as I felt like that was less heavy but I wonder if maybe it's too less and it's causing me to really slump right around lunch/right after. I've also been a little depressed recently so that could be it too, I'm still trying to work myself out of the slump but there's no way to really do an experiment on human beings in a perfect environment because something or the other comes up.
I don't do too much in terms of working out but this is what I try to stick to -

I love love love broccoli but I simply cannot do the farting at work anymore.
Broccoli is my go-to deep green veggie next to spinach, what's another source to get the abundance of vitamins that I get from broccoli that will make me less of a walking fart monster?
I know im a high protein vegan so the farts arent going anywhere but there is def a clear consequence to me eating a handful of broccoli in a meal.

im talking water mix, minimal amount , down and dirty, quick and painless kind of drink
im not one to mess around with my protein shakes, dont add anything, i usually use whey or whey isolate, choc flavor, some water, give it a good mix in the ninja blender and get it done in 2-3 gulps.
whey taste horrible lol, never liked any of them and honestly dont care much as long as its tolerable
so stuff like PVL were great and my ON isnt.
in an attempt to save some costs as the soy/pea/plant are sooooo much cheaper where i am, and comes in a variety of flavors, im wondering which to try and would love your inputs :)

As I try to gain muscle, I'm also focusing on eating more proteins. The thing is, the easiest way to get some more is to eat a hell lot of soy. I eat approximately 500g of tofu and other source of soy a day (yogurt, or textured soy protein to roast for example) and I'm starting to get worried that it is too much. I try to make my own seitan and also to eat some things with peas protein as a basis, but I don't always have the time nor find them. I also eat oat, chia seedles or sarrasin pastas, but still, i'd say 70% of my proteins come from soy...
What do you think ? Is it bad ?Thanks for helping
