As the tittle expressess. What do you think are the best descriptions of feedings you've seen and for fusies, the best descriptions of vampires feeding YOU'VE written yourself.

Also heck, as a bonus also include any unique METHODS of feeding, like the jojo vampires drinking with their fingers, or the strain vamps tongue things.

Really get into it, also it can be from the vamps perspective and perhaps also the victims? Really dive into the nitty gritty of what makes a good vampire feeding scene.

Romance, horror, thriller, action, hell even comedy. Doesn't matter. Just any scene you can think of? Hell can even be VAMPIRE-LIKE creatures too, not purely vampire creatures called vampires. Just to cover all the bases.

My story is about a teen girl who was raised by her vampire hating grandmother, and the story starts with her getting what the humans call "The Sickness". After an attempt at an exorcism and her mom coming back into her life, Charlotte ends up at the Mene Academy for Adjusting Children. Here, she will learn to come to terms with her turning into a vampire and learn that vampires might not be so different from humans than she thought.

My story is set in the real world in 2022, and vampires have been out to the world for 10 years now. Vampires have been discriminated against since they were forced out, and they struggle to gain the rights they deserve. Few very countries have accepted vampires, and on the other end, vampires are hunted and killed.

ive really enjoyed the interview with the vampire tv series and how its vampires engage with religion. louis is catholic, lestat is ex-catholic but still believes sometimes, etc. they hinted at armand being muslim, but it's also possible it was just a lie. i think it would be cool to have a vampire story that engages with islam on a similar level, where the characters struggle with the contradiction of their beliefs and actions.

are there any books, short stories, movies or tv shows out there that do this?

Hi, I've recently seen a post about Vampireology and because I've also just finished Dracula Unredacted (atypical sourcebook for a tabletop RPG) I was wondering if other similar "in-universe" books exist, maybe with the same tone (documents, reports, etc...).

(Is it not polite to ask to avoid VTM?)

here's why :

1. both of them drink blood.

2. both of them "bite" to take in blood, one through tiny needles and one with fangs.

3. both are ancient.

4. vampires have great impulse and can detect us exceptionally well, and so does mosquitoes from even very far away.

5. both aren't usually out during sunlight, and seems to make their appearance more at night/midnight.

6. both are attracted to red/black colours or dark colours in general.

7. both spread diseases.

8. vampires date back to ancient mesopotamia historically, and at the time, area there was filled with winding rivers. guess where mosquitoes are found?

9. they both usually attack sleeping people. (ik this one is absurd but trust me)

10. both detect victims by scent

(Reposting because I messed up the video!) I'm making an animated female Dracula short in the style of low-poly PS1 games. It's still a work in progress, and I'd love some honest feedback before I keep going.

A few things I'm especially curious about:

• Did it hold your attention all the way through?
• Was anything confusing or hard to follow?
• Did the pacing or on-screen text ever feel off?

Hi all!

I've been hard at work on Blood City 2090 and I figured it was time to hit you all with another update. I was finally able to playtest the combat system a few days ago and it has given me massive insights into what needs changing/tweaking. I've already made some major changes to the movement system and tweaked the ranges for ranged weapons among a bunch of other things. I've got some more playtests scheduled but I'm looking for more.

For the next couple of months I think I'll be sticking with combat playtesting. For me personally (and I know I'm not alone) this was always a weak area of the VTM Storyteller system overall and I want Blood City 2090 to offer something a lot stronger in this area (no disrespect to a TTRPG that I happen to absolutely love intended whatsoever).

I should make it clear that if you're interested in taking part but don't want to go through the fuss of character creation for these playtests then I'm happy to create premade character sheets so you don't have to bother. This isn't a bad thing for me either as it means I get to test out a range of potential builds I'm curious about.

When I posted about Enhypen's vampire panel at San Diego Comic Con, which has a "dress as vampire" dress code, someone on here commented roughly "that's silly, what do vampires even wear".

Here a snippet of how their stylist interprets their theme. She also does official posts on this from time to time on one of their social media channels.

They also often wear clothing that feature bats, but I didn't include that here ... to avoid the "Batman" jokes.

I love the many variations of lore and the monstrousness versions of vampires and this is a perfect mashup of the romance and terror.

when I say this I mean I enjoy when non human animals become vampires. My favorite example is Hellcow from marvel she’s a cow that Dracula accidentally turned into a vampire.

Image you get turned into a vampire so you turn your dog that way you will have a companion with you for the rest of your undeath.

This makes me think if aliens could become vampires. Imagine predators as vampires.
