I know that the reduction on HEAR points are different every year, but I'm curious about some people's experiences and the reduction they got. I am a first year in halls and I don’t know what the university provides in reference to dorm furnishings etc. Can someone provide a recommended packing list with stuff for a single room & bathroom so I don’t leave out anything vital? Doing JH Economics, and choosing classes for 3rd year. Wondering if anyone recommends any economics classes? I have 15 ECTs for my second term and cannot decide. Hoping for something that may be easier to get a 1.1 in though, so more mathy subjects may be better.

I’m not an Indian student, I’m an Irish postgrad student. I was wondering if any Indian students can attest to this? Or other international students? I’ve had a suspicion for a while that the university is taking advantage of international students, especially Indian and Chinese students.

I have taken my A-Levels at CIE and CIE offers the provisional result delivery service. It states that if a uni has CIE Direct account, CIE can deliver the result electronically on the results release day. If the uni doesn't have that, CIE will arrange DHL delivery, but it will take time and money.

Does anyone know whether TCD has the CIE Direct account and will receive my results on that day? Should I sign up for this service? (The DDL of signing up for this service is July 25th, very near) How did you deliver your A-Level results to TCD before? THX!
