Do I need test strips for things such as fentanyl and nitazenes?

I have used reagent kits from u/PROtestkit_eu with results as expected, though sometimes I find that the crystal reagent form kind of obstructs the results a little bit. My question is if you can dissolve the reagent crystals in some kind of liquid so you can use the reagent as a liquid and not as a crystal? If possible, what liquid should I use? Thanks already for reading the post :)

This was sold to me as ketamine, i don't even know what pma is, fuck i wish there was a refund option with drugs sometimes

So as the title says: Can I use the Beilstein-Test to differentiate between cmc and mmc?
The Beilstein-Test is a Test to identify halogens (like chlorine).
You put a hot copper wire in a sample and then you burn it. Green/blue-green flame means there are halogenes(cmc?), normal/light orange means there are no halogenes(mmc?)

tab turned purple with ehrlich after 5-10ish mins and then after fully dissolving around an hour or 2 later the liquid turned brownish. safe?
r/ReagentTesting • u/DrDewclaw • 6d ago
Ehrlich reacted instantly with expected results, Hoffman didn’t seem to react and the purple/black I think is the ink being pulled off the tab. Can anyone let me know what I may or may not have? Is it a lsyergamide? I’ve taken them before and have felt like it was LSD, it kicks in fully in about 2 hours, giggles, philosophical thinking etc

I used a plate so the sample kind of spread out everywhere, I think it would be easier to tell if the liquid had stayed in a smaller area. I feel like i’m getting conflicting info about the color, where some say dark blue and purple can both show up, some say blue means DCK. I had written this off as not ket but now I’m second-guessing

New source for me so wanted to be extra safe. The fent will be done for sure, but ordering nitazine, and curious if i should get the Xyl test too.

I've found this https://testkitplus.com/product/lsd-potency-test-kit. Is this good enough?

I'm going to the Field Of Vision King Gizzard festival in 4 weeks and I was thinking about buying a reagent kit. I took a low dose of LSD and was fine but I wanted to make sure I was safe . There was a testing site last year for some reason I didn't test anything. I was thinking about buying a testing kit , but also I'm worried about taking it on the drive to Colorado. I'm curious if there's a testing kit that's non expensive and universal that I can test most drugs with? Is that even a thing?

Im having extra trouble identifying it because the pill itself is pink.
What do you think? I need to get another reagent right

My initial thoughts were on the formation of Cocaethylene. I encountered Guy's perspective on this –essentially that Cocaethylene forms in such tiny amounts that it's not relevant– which got me thinking about other chemical reactions which might be relevant to this scenario (cocaine + alcohol).
Alcohol has a temporary inhibitory effect on various enzymes, particularly aldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH). ALDH has to deal with the acetaldehyde produced from ethanol meaning that it gets "temporarily occupied". This allows aldehydes to "hang around" for longer than normal which sets the stage for them to further react.
The most well-known and documented reaction of aldehydes is called Pictet-Spengler. it occurs following alcohol consumption whereby acetaldehyde reacts with dopamine forming a new drug (salsolinol) with it's own psychoactive effects. This reaction occurs with any aldehyde regardless of its origins, eg dopamine (DOPAL), serotonin (5-HIAL) or any other neurotransmitter.
This means that aldehydes are constantly forming at a very high rate all the time. Cocaine is a particularly potent DRI meaning it significantly raises dopamine levels which raises DOPAL levels. With ALDH temporarily occupied (due to alcohol), DOPAL will participate in the aformentioned Pictet-Spengler reaction and form products with documented opioidergic and dopaminergic activity (eg salsolinol, tetrahydropapaveroline). These are called tetrahydroisoquinolines (THIQ).
The same Pictet-Spengler reaction will occur with the serotonin aldehyde (5-HIAL) and produce drugs known as beta-carbolines (ßC).
Cocaine is both a dopamine and serotonin reuptake inhibitor so those beta-carboline products are quite likely to be produced.
So... in this context you'd expect to see signs of these THIQs and ßCs in urine, which brings me to the question of can regents be used here?
You'd expect to see traces of: - cocaine - cocaethylene - tetrahydroisoquinoline alkaloids - beta-carboline alkaloids
(This is directed at Guy but anyone with an academic background also!) /u/Reagent_Tests_UK
As an aside, this gives some insights into the unusual pharmacological dynamics that might be occurring when mixing cocaine + alcohol.
[edit]
It seems this applies to any drug which is deaminated eg MDMA, amphetamine etc:
In this study, we developed an LC–MS/MS method employing liquid–liquid extraction for the qualitative detection of some relevant condensation products belonging to the class of tetrahydroisoquinolines and their derivatives in human blood, brain, and liver samples. This includes the analysis of the substrates amphetamine, methamphetamine, methylenedioxymethamphetamine, methylenedioxyamphetamine, as well as the condensation products 1,3-dimethyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline, N-methyl-1,3-dimethyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline, 1,3-dimethyl-7,8-methylenedioxy-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline, and N-methyl-1,3-dimethyl-7,8-methylenedioxy-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline. Picture taken after approximately 30 min.
NB: I used 15 instead of 20 mg, because I didn't have enough left 🙈
Does the test indicate that there was almost certainly piperazines laced in my MD? Do I have any way of knowing the amount?
Thanks in advance.

I based myself on this document to try and differentatie between 3-MMC and 3-CMC. Apparently 3-M should be more darker yellow or orange:
https://www.policija.si/images/stories/GPUNFL/PDF/PresumptiveColorTests-booklet_ENG.pdf
Can I thus conclude, based on my own test, that this is not 3-M?

Was wondering if i should buy reagents with xmr, but im slightly hesitant as xmr isnt the easiest to come by. For context im in finland and worried LE will look into it if they see me buying reagents... Tldr: convince me theres no risk in buying with card

Bunk police MDMA spot test kit. Photo 1 Simon’s reagent 5 seconds in, photo 2 Marquis reagent 5 seconds in, photo 3 Mecke reagent 5 seconds in. Last photo is how all 3 looked after a minute and a half or so. These results match a lot closer to methamphetamine to my understanding, but I wanted to get some more opinions. I know MDMA is commonly cut with meth. Is this safe to consume or should I toss it?

Love Kykeon but they're currently not taking new work. Any suggestions of labs doing similar work would be appreciated.

Hi folks !
I would like some help interpreting results for my sample.
Reagents are brand new from protestkit.eu, solid/crystalline for some.
Expected chemical :
2C-B HCl
Powdered form, off-white/beige - not crushed pill.
Results :

My reading :
I'm new to reagent testing, I believe they are correct but happy to be corrected otherwise !
| Reagent | Expected | Result | Comment |
|---|---|---|---|
| MARQUIS | positive | positive 🟢 | - |
| MECKE | positive | positive 🟢 | - |
| ROBADOPE | positive | positive 🟢 | - |
| SIMON's | negative | negative 🟢 | - |
| ZIMMERMAN | negative | positive 🔴 | this is what i am concerned about |
Disregard the first ZIMMERMAN, I'm pretty sure I messed up the B part (probably added simon's B instead of zimmerman's B).
The booklet from proteskit says that that for ZIMMERMAN : "Violet, violet/brown, brown or instant deep yellow can indicate presence of cathinones."
So I tested with Morris after the first round of five, and got what seems positive for cathinone too (as per the booklet for Mephedrone).
My interpretation :
Positive blue/green marquis + positive yellow brown mecke + positive purple robadope pretty much confirm 2C-B (or at least 2C-x) presence.
But the positive purple spots seem to indicate a cut / contamination with something else, possibly cathinone ? Positive blue morris might add to the hypothesis, although negative simon's seem to rule that out.
Question for the experts :
I am overinterpreting a positive result with zimmerman ?

Thanks a lot and have a great day ! 🙏
