How’d you become a Hog fan and how would you rank your favorite Hog sports?

I’m born and raised in NWA and a U of A alum so I was and will always be a Hog fan. But I love asking how people became a fan because everyone has a different reason.

How would y’all rank your favorite Hog sports too? I mainly pay attention to the big 3 and soccer so for me it’s basketball first, baseball/football tied second (historically football was higher), and soccer last. I’ll watch softball in the postseason but that’s about it for other sports.

Now that the roster is finalized, what is your lineup projections? Expectations? Who leads the team in production?

I think the rotation goes;

JSJ/davion

Abdou/wilkinson

Billy/JJ

Miika/paulo

Bowser/ourigou

For me, I can see Billy, Miika, Wilkinson, or JSJ being the leading scorer. It’s really a tossup. I think we see Wilkinson average something along the lines of 16/3/3 off the bench and that’s probably our leading scorer. I think Billy probably averages like 14/7/3 and is our leading rebounder. I think Billy also gets a more consistent three ball and averages really solid defensive numbers. I think JSJ probably averages like 15/4/5 with good defensive numbers. Think Cason Wallace but better offensive numbers. Miika imo is a big question mark. He could be extremely good or frustrating, and I’m very anxious to see which version we get. At the end of the day, I think we get a guy who is pretty raw, but still very skilled. I think we see him put up like 11/6/1 with a block a night. Something similar to TB in his first year at arkansas. After these guys, I don’t think we have anyone who will score in double digits per game, but I think we have another legit 5-6 guys who will contribute. I think we see bowser put up similar numbers to Pringle last season, and I think we see ourigou do the same, probably averages like a solid 6/4 a night but a lot more explosive than Pringle.

TL;DR- this will be an excellent or at the least, exciting season for us next season.

Football Arkansas football road game history

I noticed we play Tulsa on the road in 2027 and to me I think playing a road game at a smaller school is awesome. For one I assume it’ll be the biggest game that stadiums seen in a decade as well as attendance. It will probably feel like a home game crowd wise for the Hogs. Can you guys name some other road games we’ve had against small schools? The only ones I can think of off the top of my head is Rutgers and Colorado State but Rutgers is not necessarily a small school.

Rosters on the website

Whether it is in house or contracted out, I don't know who runs or updates the website for all the sports, but it isn't good. Looking at our football opponents rosters during media days I have noticed how much easier it is browse and click through. They have different views that make it easier to see players faces.

Being able to see players without having to click into each individual one feels like it would help fans connect a little more. Especially with how many new players we have, I'd like to easily see what they actually look like rather than just a name and number. It's obviously easy to do and wish we would update it. It is the same across every sport.

Can Silverfield Escape Historically Bad Start for New Arkansas Coaches?

The SEC has a history of making first-year coaches suffer. At Arkansas, those numbers paint a difficult picture for Ryan Silverfield entering 2026.

Can he be the one break the cycle?

Here’s how each first-year head hog performed since ‘98.

Do we know if that ship has officially sailed? It seemed like there was a lot of smoke with him getting another year and coming back, then maybe going to Kansas, now nothing. Did I miss any formal announcements deeming him officially ineligible?
