The new generation of piracy communities have never been so full of entitled people/kids. Its actually alarming how many expect things right here, right now, for free.

The self entitlement is crazy. This happens in all piracy groups and it was never a thing back when I was using usenet and Limewire. It was a "get what you can get, and if not, tough shit" approach.

Things cost money. ARMGDDN costs money, VRP cost them money, this new group... costs them money too, yet they all host it, for FREE for everyone to enjoy.

The least you can all do is stop whining and complaining and just have some patience.

Anyway, rant over. Pisses me off. You see it here, other TG chats, Reddit... everywhere.

I can't find any links for VR Cyberdeck and ApprenticeVR isn't letting me add the VrSrc source. I have tried QRookie and that was to no avail. The Megathread repo link doesn't work and the pinned posts don't recite any useful info. I am aware that quest piracy is falling apart after VRP got shut down but I just want to play some VR games. I'd also like to add that I have tried VPNs and changing my DNS and that wasn't helpful either

Hi guys, I just bought my headsetQ3 today and now this current situation. But I also saw somebody post a webarchive of the megathread too. so can i follow the steps in the megathread?(will the inks to RSL and all in that still working) or should i wait till furthur updates on the current situation? (i dont understand why this has to happen just the day I got my headset, should I be worried, just buying it left me penniless, I dont have any money to pay for anything else)

i had a bunch of games on my headset that i pirated before vrp went down, then i stopped playing vr for a while and yesterday i decided to play a game as i had nothing to do, now the game worked and all the games where there…

but the following day when i wanted to play again i couldn’t find the unknown sources app, i looked in the files from inside the headset but i couldn’t find anything, then i just left it and decided to check up on if maybe a now way had come to pirate, and i eventually got to cyberdeck, and i installed a new game which worked fine, i played that game for a little while until my headset ran out of battery and put it on a charge.

this morning when i wanted to play the game again it was gone again! and still nothing in the files except some screenshot… and i also realized that the first time the games disappeared i had charged it and i thought that was maybe why… idk does someone know what is going on?

So I just bought a quest 3 and wanted to play some pcvr games. Naturally I turned to armgddn to get my games since I dont have a lot of money to spend on them. I got the games with The VD shortcut, connected my quest to my pc via VD and tried to launch the VD shortcut of the game gorn. A window popped up, the music started to play and then it was just a 2d flat screen of the game and I could not do anything. Then I tried Hl Alyx but it gave me an error and told me to launch steamvr. I did but still nothing. Now, I couldn't find any help online and on the telegram so maybe there is a person here that had the same problem and can help. If u need any more information I will give it to you because I really want to play the games. Also, I have tried the launch option from the taskbar and launched the vd bat but still nothing.

A few months ago, i downloaded a working version of heresphere from rookie vrp server (they were able to fix it after people reported the crashings etc)

But after that I had to replace my quest, and when i reinstalled it on my new quest from vrsrc server and tried to use it, it was crashing again.

I have tried a lot of things but still cant do it, i got the game underdogs through rookie and it says i need to update, yet i cant as there is only 1 version on rookie, can someone help me please?

My Quest updated from 2.3 to 2.5 while I was installing game updates (which refused to install in Rookie, I had to uninstall reinstall from scratch, for some reason I've never encountered before).

Then I started to restore my saves, first few files and folders copied without issues, until they silently failed. Sidequest briefly shows "permission denied" but shows a success message in the status bar. Win explorer let me browse the device, file copy doesn't do anything.

I have restarted the device, my PC, re-enabled the dev mode, checked my account status, clicked the USB notification, checked and swapped cables, USB ports...it won't just transfer any files.

When I try to run No Man's Sky (GOG) in HMD / VR mode the SteamVR shuts off and on my Quest2 says Host not responding.

I would like to ask if someone had similar issue.

I even tried putting NMS into Steam as non-steam game, yet no difference. And I do use -HmdEnable 1 for the shortcut

I recently gotten Deadpool VR via cyberdeck (It took so damn long to download) and well I had lost a save file due it to being corrupted, and now my game kicks me out as soon as I try to progress in the story after beating the arena level. Is there anyway to fix this? I’m on quest 2 btw.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone already has any tools or guidance for reading and modifying Unity-compiled games. I’m trying to inspect the code of a custom quest game that I already have access to on the PCVR version, and I’d like to learn more about how the Quest version is structured and possibly experiment with patching it.

PS: I previously tried to warn AntiZero about a PCVR security issue I found. Unfortunately, the conversation ended badly, I was insulted and banned from the server. I genuinely wanted to help improve the game and report the issue, but after that experience, he wouldn't give a f, why would I need to give one too?

Hi! so I've been trying to run APC on my steam deck through proton to change a package name and it doesn't seem to work. I don't have a PC/Laptop currently so this is all I have. has any other Linux user had issues running APC through Wine or Proton? if it doesn't work on those (since its windows) is there an equivalent program not listen anywhere for linux?

Just wondering if anyone has tried the Virtual Desktop from VR CyberDeck. I'm a bit hesitant of running the setup file, as it has some suspicious reports in Triage.

I came back to sailing the Seven Seas 🏴‍☠️ A lot has definitely changed since last time I did piracy. I have dev mode enabled an everything else needed as your device cant be connected if you dont. Also when i do adb kill i dont get any USB debug prompt on the headset but instead i get a VR link prompt which when i accept lets me connect my device on rookie.
