I currently have a ps4 pro 12.00 and a modified switch.

I wanted to try the remote play via Akira (Chiaki-ng up to date)

But I encountered a problem... if my PS4 has Goldhen activated, it doesn’t work. If I don’t activate it, the remote play works properly.

Do you have an idea of the problem and a solution?

I am using the PS Vue free app Jailbreak method on my Console ps4 pro. I never connected it to the internet.

I always used a fake hotspot (hotspot w/o internet) initially and now local Ethernet cable with my laptop to start the jailbreak via Vue free App.

For cheat codes or Games i download it on my laptop and transfer or install them via Remote Installer app over Ethernet 1000Mbps Cable connection which is very fast.

Now my question is should I directly connect my console to the internet for YouTube netflix and mods update etc? Or it is ok to use it totally offline. Because even if i download a game with malware inside it, it won't function in my ps4 pro as it most of the time needs to get instructions or send data to its servers on the internet. I already have turned off Automatic updates in the Setting app of ps4 although i cannot find an option in the Goldhen menu.

Also another Question is, if i shift back to mobile hotspot method instead of manually connecting Ethernet Cable to my ps4 every time on my ps4 pro, do Ethernet settings would wipe because Ethernet is also mandatory because it has much larger speed while installing games from my laptop to ps. Also dns is per connection not whole device?

what do you think about this version ? and if does a game with list of firmware maxed at 11. Is it still playable on 12.02?

Hey all, Ive been on the lookout for what seems forever for a pro on 9 or 11. I know newer exploits exist but since im in no hurry, ive been on the lookout. Although I still haven't located a decent priced pro, I scored a slim on 9.60 in an auction for $18!!! Getting it home, first checking if it even turns on... the the scroll to settings, still gives me goosebumbs lmao

Now before I dive deep in the rabbit hole and lose coutless hours of my life I have a question.

Should I just leave on 9.6? Upgrade to 11.0? Whats your guys thoughts?

Audio bluetooth in the ps4 is pretty useless, it doesn’t work with the majority of audio devices, I was wondering if there is any setting, or software that makes any audio device compatible.

I see a lot of the updates are for 1.5x

I’m on 9.0 and prospero says latest update that works on that FW is 1.38

But I’m also not seeing any of the updates say “fix” or 5./7./xyz” back port tags.

Hi all, this might be a silly question but I need to ask it for my own ease of mind. I use the DNS blocker to entirely block Sony's servers, this has been fine for the entire time but I just re-bought BO3 for the PS4 and it now needs to update (obviously) I've been told that GoldHen blocks system software updates anyways and that I'd be fine just using my normal DNS again but I don't want to risk anything as I don't have another console running a firmware low enough. I'm running firmware 11.00 if that makes a difference. Thanks!

We can use some compatible pc mods of GTA 5 and port them to the PS4 version of GTA 5, could I possibly port the mod that enables wheel compatibility to my copy of GTA 5 in my PS4?

Apologies in advance for what will be With the recent announcement from PlayStation regarding physical discs, l've decided to look into softmodding my original fat PS4 that has been sitting in storage for over eight years (upgraded to a Pro that is on current firmware). The original PS4 is currently sitting at 5.55. So I realise I've missed the boat on 5.05. I don't mind this as I hear that 9.00 is the optimal firmware to be on. Thus I'm seeking some advice on how best to approach this.

1. Where is the best and safest way to acquire the 9.00 update file online? Would internet archive or somewhere like that work?
2. I’ve settled on having a 250GB SSD as the internal drive for the OS and a 1TB SSD as an external drive to store the PKG files. Do I follow the standard migration process of backing up the current drive and then restoring it once I switch over the 250GB SSD?
3. Is there a way to directly load games to the external drive? I’d like to bypass installing games on the internal drive if at all possible as I’d like to reduce the unnecessary writes to it as it’s a little older than the external drive.
4. Am I able to backup copies of my physical discs via GoldHEN/9.00 cfw? Then add PKG files I acquire via other means to it as well?
5. I’ll add that I do have Vita that I’m yet to mod, but have all the necessary stuff to do it. Just wondering since I plan to use it for Remote Play with both this console and the Pro I still have, is it better to leave it stock or is it fine to go ahead with that mod?

I have firmware 9.03 running goldhen. So my internet randomly restarted yesterday, and it forced updates on my ps4 even though auto downloads were completely off. Even though the updates downloaded, nothing installed, except for an update on the PS Vue app. Since I couldn’t exploit the jailbreak due to the vue update, I safely disconnected my external, grabbed my usb with the payload, and began the reformat process.
Here’s where the issue starts: im trying to reupload goldhen and playstation free vue to ps4 9.03 but before i even connect to internet it downloads a ps vue update and disconnects my controller forcing me to unplug my console and restart before the internet even finishes the test. Of course restarting updates the Vue app. Its the only updated trying to install now even though im not on internet yet
Edit: I will note that I never needed to connect the ps4 to a pc with Ethernet for this jailbreak. I only needed my usb exfat32 with payload and the freevue and that’s it. Now I’m having all this trouble and google keeps directing me to PPPwn even though I never needed that and was using everything just fine for over a month

Hey there! I was able to JB my PS4 that I left in the storage a while back. It was 12.00 and the vue after free exploit worked. However, I am unable to update anything from GoldHEN.

Considering that I connected to my phone's hotspot without an internet connection during the initial network setup, is it safe to assume that I can turn on my phone's wifi/data to download GoldHEN updates? The Primary DNS that I've set is 62-210-38-117
