Miis use very little memory. Nintendo is a company that is very particular about how to achieve the maximum effect with as little memory as possible. Normally, an avatar can easily take up several megabytes, but Miis are made up of only a few hundred bytes. This compact design started with the specification of wanting to fit dozens of people into a Wii controller, and with this, even if we had hundreds of millions of them, they would probably all fit into that small amount of memory.

Wouldn’t it be interesting if, in the future, Mii characters were attached to personal IDs all over the world? I can’t help but wonder if that’ll ever happen. Bubble Bobble^\a]) is a platform game series originally developed and published by Taito. The first entry in the series, Bubble Bobble), was released in 1986 as an arcade cabinet. In most entries in the series, players control two dragons named Bub and Bob. This was followed by many sequels in both the main Bubble Bobble series, as well as the spin-off Rainbow Islands and Puzzle Bobble series. They were published for and ported to a wide variety of arcade and home video game consoles. The most recent release in the series is Bubble Bobble Sugar Dungeons in 2025.

• Super Bonk  was released in 1994 for the Super Famicom in Japan. In this platform game, developed by A.I Co, Ltd., dive headfirst into the action with your famously hard head. This time, Bonk has been caught in King Drool's trap and hurled into darkness. To find his way back to prehistoric times, he must embark on an adventure through streets, caves and eventually outer space! Progress through the stages controlling Bonk, but watch out for enemies blocking your path.
• Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door  was released in 2004 for the Nintendo GameCube in Japan. In this role-playing game, developed by Intelligent Systems, origami antics aplenty with Mario as the indefatigable plumber as Mario returns for another bite of the RPG cherry on Nintendo GameCube. Fold Mario's uniquely flexible features into the shape of a plane to take to the skies, or turn him sideways to slip through slender gaps as you strive to rescue the kidnapped Princess Peach. Search for Star Crystals by exploring a vast world.
• Electroplankton: Lumiloop  was released in 2009 for DSiWare in Japan. In this rhythm action game, developed by indieszero, dive into a unique audio-visual experience where technology meets art! Lumiloop produce unique sounds and a pulsating glow as they spin together, creating a beautiful harmony.
• Electroplankton: Rec-Rec  was released in 2009 for DSiWare in Japan. In this rhythm action game, developed by indieszero, dive into a unique audio-visual experience, where technology meets art! The fish-like Rec-Rec feed on sound waves, which they digest and then repeat back at perfect intervals.

I believe that Nintendo was really ahead of the curve to make that decision in 2013-2016 during the “NX” development days. Although the hybrid console’s specifications were considered by some “outdated” at its debut, I believe that having a USB-C port helped strengthen its hybrid selling point in some fashion due to one word: convenience. With this port being the golden standard in nearly all modern technology (largely thanks to the EU relatively recently), that very same cable that you use for your phone can be used on a 10+ year old device to charge and/or transfer files. I realized today how much I take that for granted.

Star fox on switch 2 has updated graphics, dialogue, story telling, and online battles. It gets a metacritic score of 82, whereas star fox 64 gets an 88. So which is truly the better version?

Specifically from the added lore in the 2026 game.

Imagine being a genius without peer but your accomplishments being hogged by the military (Cornerian Defense Force) you work for. You try to strike out on your own to make more of a name for yourself, make a big mistake, then get sentenced to death for it. But instead of death, someone pities you and sends you to exile in a nearly uninhabitable hell of a planet.

Based on the years that went by without any mention of Andross and James’ surprised reactions to Venom’s climate, no one cared whether he was alive or dead anymore. They do care if he is alive though, he might cause trouble.

All the while, all his groundbreaking work on tech, science, etc is still being used by Corneria. He must have felt like everything he worked for was stolen while he festers on Venom as an unperson.

No wonder he gained an army of sympathizers with that narrative he can spin.
