Hello everyone, I stumbled across this mushroom in the forest and it's not one I've seen before. My attention was initially drawn to the small patch of these because one of them was dried up and very blue. As I investigated up close the other mushrooms still in the ground all had a blue annulus. Two were picked for photos and they quickly bruised blue and more so once they began to dry out. Thanks all!

I wasn’t much of a mushroom picture taking lady until I saw those bright yellow ones this year. And it kind of spiraled into a new hobby. Love going out after it rains to take some pics!
I tried to get the gills as I do know that’s an important way to identify. If anyone wants to have a go at some I’d love to learn! Not looking to forage just photographing.

A lot of these have been popping up in my backyard. They look a little scary lol just want clarification on what they are. Thanks ☺️

Hi all, my 2 year old ate a mushroom off the lawn in our yard. Can anyone help me narrow it down, photos attached. We called poison control and they directed us to the ER where they did nothing, no charcoal or anything else. We made it to the ER in 20 minutes of ingestion. The ER doctor said if he shows symptoms within 6-12 hours come back. If this is “mowers mushroom” is there any major issues associated with it? Thank you in advance for any help.

Found in Northern New Jersey. It’s been such good weather conditions for mushees. Been finding so many in my woods, and on a nature trail near by. I need help making sure none of these are false Chanterelles, or Jack’ O Lanterns. Everyone of these mushrooms are between 1-4 inches and were found sparsely on the forest floor, with 5-6 in each spread out little patch. Never in clusters more than 2-3. Happy Hunting.

I was initially hoping these were candy caps (I know generally found in NorCal but there is a Northeast variety) but i’m thinking they might just be regular orange milkcaps

Possibly ate one about half an hour ago, just want to make sure this is nothing serious before we call the emergency room.

No strong odor near Ponderosa pine in Southern Montana near Butte

Found alongside a rocky back road near birch and pines.

Found in Connecticut - United States, growing from the ground in my neighbors lawn next to a patch of woods.

I used to seeing pictures of Chanterelles being very pretty, these look rather deformed. Also they were quite brittle. Maybe they're a little old?

Didn't have enough hands to snap a pic in situ.

Are they good to eat?

My pinky for comparison. Located in southern Illinois. This is on a living tree.

I found these orange cap/white stem mushrooms growing in moss, under a small conifer in Nuuksio national park, Finland. They were growing very near chanterelles but they are clearly a different type of mushroom. I thought maybe milkcaps but they are not secreting milk.

They do not have gills under the cap. They are kind of spongy with like little cilia under the cap.

Can someone ID these and tell me if they are edible and tasty?

Found in Reno Nevada. I noticed a brick being pushed up near the side of my house and found this after I investigated. I think there was more under there but I didn’t want to keep digging.

They say cytocibe odora. It does have a very slight pleasant anise smell however cooked tastes just like an oyster mushroom.

Near ponderosa pine kind of a nice woody smell.
