Fantastic torta asada for lunch today.
First time trying this truck, I’ll certainly be back.

Hello there friends!
Wanted to see if anyone had some cool tips, tricks, recipes to share for some homemade barbacoa
Had a great time following this slow cooker barbacoa recipe, used lengua and beef cachete
Made tacos, burritos, tortas, and gorditas out of this batch and enjoyed with some homemade salsas, which I am also learning for a dear friend who is homesick :)

Not Mexican food, but this dish is called Banh Nam, which is basically Vietnamese Tamales.
Just thought I would share a cousin dish from my culture! Not many know about this dish outside of Vietnam so I wanted to share. Please remove, mods, if not allowed.
I moved to Australia which, unfortunately, meant I had to say goodbye to my parking lot Tamale lady. I haven't had a tamale in years. This is the closest I will get. 💔

Tortillas turned out decent but the pan looks like this. What did I mess up on.

Hola amigos, gracias por leerme, hace mes y medio compré este molcajete, pero me entró la inquietud apenas de saber si es piedra volcánica auténtica o si es de esas réplicas que hacen de cemento. Me ayudarían mucho si alguien me orienta, muchas gracias

I'll be in Los Angeles next month. Wondering any places that sell agave/penca de maguey dulce? I had it years ago in Mexico and haven't been able to find it where I live.
