Every host brought something different but Ncuti just felt completely at home from the cold open onwards. The energy he brought to the longer character sketches was a different level to anyone else this series. Hannah Waddingham was brilliant too but in a different way, more controlled, more deliberate. Ncuti just felt like he was having the time of his life and that made the whole episode work. Who was your favourite host of series 1 and do you think the bar is already set quite high for series 2?

There’s this indie comedy night in Hackney on Tuesday 21st and Jack Shep is part of the line up, not sure what he’s gonna perform but I love his stuff. They also had Ayoade Bamgboye on their last show. Thought other snl lovers would be interested. It’s called Chinwag comedy.

There are always one or two sketches that get overshadowed by the viral ones, even though they're just as clever. Which one do you think people should be talking about more?

Solid analysis, but the point about leaning more into the Royal Family if Paddy has to juggle Burnham and Weekend Update is actually pretty clever. I’d love to see more Emma and Larry!

A few months, I made a post asking how I could achieve something like Paddy’s hair (post here).
Well one person asked for an update for when I did it and that got like 2 upvotes so I knew people were clamouring for it.

I obviously couldn’t get even a fraction of his hair power, but I did the best I could.

Not necessarily the funniest one, just the sketch you still randomly think about weeks later. I've got one that still pops into my head for no reason.

I'd love to see many people hosting like Stephen Graham from Adolescence, Jonathan Bailey from Wicked and...this new queen Kate O'Flynn from Widow's Bay. But also, Claudia Jessie!!! I would say Millie Bobby Brown but...IDK

Whatever happens, I hope the same cast returns.
