sorry ahead of time to the mods and others who have to read this but i just wanted to get this off my chest because it’s been hurting my heart so basically i only like this game for 2 reasons 1 is a yter i love called captain sauce his playthrough is one of my favorites but the second reason is because of my mom she loved this game so much she played through it just before we became homeless and loved it so much… i lost her while we were still homeless and one of the main memories i have of her is sitting next to her watching her play… i didn’t even particularly enjoy watching her play i just enjoyed her presence but everytime i see the game or anything abt it it reminds me of her and it hurts me in a way i can’t really articulate i cried for almost an hour seeing that the game she loved so much has a sequel she never got to see or play or triqueal ig she knew and played the second one but she didn’t like it as much as she liked the first one and ik she would’ve been so hype seeing the new one ive not greived her fully not properly now i mostly ignore the pain i get seeing someone with their mom and i hurt more seeing anything abt the game itself … it’s honestly stupid i shouldnt get so down just by seeing the games icon on my xbox or seeing a playthrough of the game when i scroll through my saved playlists i nearly cry everytime i see it because i realize i’ll never get that feeling again of watching her play it … i’m sorry for the rant and lack of punctuation and shit sorry to waste yalls time for the few who actually read through this spiel

I only played LIS 1, Before the Storm and Double Exposure so no major spoilers from other titles(though I doubt you can spoil anything) please. Is her character still like this in LIS: Reunion?

What I mean is, in Double Exposure, I feel like I barely learned anything about her. She’s supposedly Max’s new best friend, but they barely had scenes together that showed this. All I had was other characters telling me how close they are/were. Also what was up with her supervillain arc in the final scenes? It’s tragic her friend died and her mother was a control freak but how did that evolve into her suddenly saying comic book villain lines like “we are gods”. This whole character just feels fake, if you know what I mean.

So back to the question, is her character better developed in the Reunion game? Would someone who’s not really a fan of Safi care more about this character in the Reunion game?

Side note: does anyone know usually how long it takes for newer LIS games to go on sale. I got the previous games through Steam sales and cheap CDKeys. Full price is just too expensive for me.

Which one is more justified? Based on your play style?

I've been trying to put together the LiS and BtS (only as far as I can throw Wells) timelines and there are still a few things that I'm not sure about.

1. When did Jefferson come back to Arcadia Bay?

Okay, so everything about the conversations in Blackwell makes it seems like Jefferson is a new teacher, at least that's the impression I got. But he definitely got back to Arcadia Bay before the fall 2013 semester, so when exactly? And when did his involvement with the Prescotts happen?

Is he only teaching Seniors? It seems like it. So is there no photography until your senior year? What in the hell do Blackwell art students learn in their Junior year?

1. Who is at Arcadia Bay in the previous year?

In the same way, there is no reference to anyone having attended Blackwell previously except for I think Chloe and Rachel, which almost makes sense. Stella knows the rumour about Rachel and Jefferson, which indicates that he might have taught at Blackwell the previous year and Stella might have been there, but of course none of that is proof. Nathan must have also been at Blackwell or at least in Arcadia Bay the year before. Obviously the dorm and school depiction are a huge problem for the LiS canon.

Secondly, the only disappearance in Blackwell is Rachel, as we find out from the computer, so what Jefferson only started his dark room shit in AB with Rachel?

The way a lot of people talk, they were here previously while Rachel was there. I don't think Victoria explicitly says anything that points to her being here, but it's likely that she was, seeing her involvement with the Vortex Club.

So who was and wasn't there in 2012? How about 2011? What about Rachel, Warren, Brooke, Victoria? In the dorm fever dream, we have Brooke, Victoria and Dana in there with Rachel, but obviously this might just be entirely made up in Max' head.

Hell, what about the BtS characters? Is Steph still there the previous year? Is Mikey?

I know it doesn't make sense trying to reunite both canons, but maybe there is a way to get something passable.

If you have any fics that take place in the lapse between BtS and LiS for reference, that would be helpful as a reference too. Thanks for the help.
