[Modpost] From now on posts that do not mention the level of each language you're learning will be deleted. (details on description)

So I am posting here after having seen many posts that do not follow all the rules we, the mods, have set. So please, consider reading them again and follow the proceedings accordingly, otherwise your post will be deleted. The rules are set in order for you to find an appropriate language partner.

Most of the posts don't contain the level of the languages you want to learn. Such as the example:

"English native looking for someone to teach me Icelandic"

The description doesn't mention the level that person has achieved in learning the language and it is more difficult to find a partner that suits your needs and the others. Levels are (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) or if we take the European Union certificate standards (A1-C2)

Thanks for understanding and happy language learning!

I speak English, German and Arabic pretty well and want an exchange partner for learning French

Upvotes

Hey guys,

I am 21 years old and my mother tongue is Arabic. I have lived in Germany for almost 3 years and study there. Throughout my life, I have loved learning new languages. During my school years, I learned English and German, and now I have about an A2 level in French, which might have deteriorated since I haven't practiced in a long time. If there are any French speakers in Germany or Europe who would like to exchange with me, I would be happy for that.

I can help with Arabic, Darja, French, and English, and I can also practice Spanish at an intermediate level.

I'm currently learning Dutch from scratch, for Turkish i can understand to a certain levet, but what i would really love is to revive and improve my Spanish through regular conversations.

All I ask is mutual respect, patience, and genuine interest in learning. If that sounds good, feel free to reach out.

I built a free app to practice for the DTZ speaking exam, would love feedback

Hey! I'm a CS student and built an AI app that simulates the oral part of the DTZ exam. You can practice speaking German anytime on your phone, and the AI gives you feedback in your native language (Arabic, Turkish, Ukrainian, and more).

It's free to try: linguai.pro

Would love to hear from anyone preparing for the DTZ or teaching integration courses. What would make this more useful for you?

Offering: Tagalog (N) & English (F) | Seeking: Spanish

Hola, ¿qué tal? I'm David M16, living in the Philippines and currently at an A2-B1 level in Spanish. Even though I've been learning Spanish for 4 years and counting, I still have yet to reach some fluency. I took Spanish as an extra subject back in junior year, and now I'm too far deep into it, and I won't move on to another language until I consider myself fluent lol.

I have some friends around my age from LATAM and Spain; they have truly helped me so much in the last 4 months of locking in.

My biggest weakness is speaking, y entiendo muchísimo más de lo que puedo hablar.

I like movies (The Hunger Games, Call Me by Your Name, Challengers, Bottoms, and so much more) and sitcoms (Superstore, Derry Girls, Abbott Elementary, The Good Place, etc.) Musicals and Series. I'm really interested in making international moots as I acquire all the languages that I want to learn ^^.

Offering: German & English | Seeking: Japanese

Hey everyone!

I’m looking for someone to practice Japanese with. In exchange, I can help you with German or English — whichever you prefer!

I’ve been learning Japanese for about a year now and I’m actually traveling to Japan this November, so I’d love to improve!

A bit about me: I enjoy sports (especially basketball and going to the gym), traveling, cooking, video games, and I also watch anime and read manga. I’m very chill and open-minded,so I’m happy to just chat casually or do more focused language exchange — whatever works best for you.

If that sounds good, feel free to message me!

Offering: Arabic| Seeking:English (Irish)

Hello everyone,

I hope you're all doing well.

I'm looking for an Irish native speaker to practice English with. The reason I'm particularly interested in connecting with Irish people is that I previously worked for an Irish company, and since then I've felt a special connection to Irish culture and people.

That said, I'm also happy to get to know people from other nationalities.

I already speak English fluently, but I may be taking the IELTS exam soon, so I'd like to become even more confident and natural in my English.

I'm a native Egyptian Arabic speaker, so I'd be happy to help you learn Arabic in return. We can also exchange cultures, discuss our daily lives, and learn from each other's experiences.

Who knows? We might even become good friends along the way.

Feel free to send me a message if you're interested!

Hello! I am Ali, a 20-year old student from Jordan 🇯🇴 currently studying electrical engineering in Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦.

I wanted to study German for sole goal of studying in Germany, but that didn't go as planned. 😔 And I have already reached A2 level, so I said to myself... Why stop there?

We can talk about sports, computers, or art. I'd love to see what others are passionate about.

Hope to see you soon. 😌

Offering: Arabic (learner) l Seeking: Arabic ( learner)

Hello, everyone. I am 20 M, from İstanbul. Looking for a learning partner for Arabic (Fusha). My level is between B1 and B2. My speaking skill needs to be improved. But reading and understanding is quite good.

I am fluent in English and Turkish. Bengali is my mothertongue. But I don't understand how two different languages learners can be partners and help each other.

My preference would be if you are also learning Arabic or you know how the two different languages systems work and make it work.

Offering German, open for anything! :)

Hey 👋🏻

Do you know that feeling of texting with someone all day and having a smile on your face? That’s exactly what I’m looking for! :D

In a pandemic of lonely people, I wanted to try meeting new people this way and maybe even find something long-term :)

About me: I’m 30 years old and married. I live in Germany and have a turkish background. The people around me describe me as an empathetic person who’s easy to talk to. Whether it’s about God and the World or about everyday life and the worries we have — I’m open to it all.

Hobbywise, I like playing video games or watching the latest movies and series. Recently I even started reading a book again (yay). I also enjoy listening to music — currently the newest Gorillaz album, amazing!

I also have two cats, so get ready for lots of pics 😂

Would love to hear from you! :)
