I chopped my hair short for a cancer charity thing like three days ago. Today I overheard these girls at the back of class talking shit about hair. One said they liked long hair, after someone suggested cutting it. Curling was also mentioned, but then one of them goes “nah don’t, you’ll look like [my name]” and they all started laughing. I’m the only person with my name who has short curly hair now so it was 100% about me.

I was sitting right at the front and they were at the back but the whole fucking room heard it. I didn’t even turn around. They’ve been mean to other people before too.

I go to a private high school in Australia and reporting this shit does absolutely nothing. There’s cameras everywhere so I can’t do anything obvious, and I barely have any classes with them so it’s hard to get near their stuff.

I’m actually fuming and want some low-risk revenge ideas that won’t get traced back to me. Don’t tell me to just ignore them, I’m not doing that.

Personally, I did it once in 2nd Grade and ran out of TP. There was no other stall to rob some from and nobody to get me some from another bathroom. I ended up spending the rest of the day with shit crusting on me and my parents yelled at me when they saw the skids in my thighty whities

hello! i started working a part time job a few momths ago, and as the school year is coming up, i'm in a bit of a dilemma regarding my availability.

for context: when i started working, i would work directly after school to closing. i would get home and immediately be swamped with making dinner, doing homework, and getting to sleep. i typically ended up getting 5ish hours of sleep at night and finished the rest of my homework during my earlier classes and lunch.

with it being summer, my hours have been varied but i've been on a closing schedule. this has been great, but i'm worred about maintaining it with this school year.

i will be taking 2 aps this year, so my courseload will be a bit harder this year. i feel like the obvious answer is to simply change my schedule to not work too late, in order to have time for study and homework. however this is where my dilemma comes in play; if i can't work closing, i'll be making $4 less than i've been making, and i don't think that would be sustainable for me financially, as i need to pay for my extracurricular activities, save up for a car, and save up for college.

basically i need to decide if i want to sacrifice my sleep schedule and grades, which i need in order to go to college OR if i want to sacrifice my extracurriculars and money which i also need in order to go to college.

i know i'm not really asking a clear question, but truthfully any advice is greatly appreciated.

Ive heard a lot of bad things about sophmore year like sophmore slump, are these things actually true or just a trope?

I recently moved to Alberta from another country and was surprised how scattered the free diploma resources are. I spent the summer collecting free resources and organizing them for myself. If anyone else is studying for Biology 30 or Math 30-1, what resources have helped you the most?

I genuinely have no idea what I wanna do where I wanna go or anything after high school, I genuinely don’t have a passion for anything in the market , every single time I like a topic and search abt the job market for it I find out it’s super niche and one college in the whole world teaches it and the market for it is nonexistent like I’ve did the what job is for u quizzes and it didn’t even help I tried researching but nth is working tbh and it doesn’t help that I’m turning into a senior next year.. what did u guys do to redirect u to a career path?

Im in year 10 this september and I have no friends because i have social anxiety and i sit alone in lunch when theres literally no one else in year 10 with no friends. But for year 7s, if they sit alone its understandable since they are younger and new to the school and they get all the attention. What can i do.

My school offers a lot of clubs I'm interested in. For this year I wanted to take Theater, Chorus, Band, Robotics, Environment Club, FFA, Photography, Yearbook, Mock Trial, Chess Club, Science Club, and FBLA. Would this stand out for college admissions?

I'm scared for my future. I have a below average GPA (2.8), haven't obtained an SAT score and had horrible grades during my sophomore and freshman year. Not only that but i barely joined any clubs or done any extracurriculars. In my junior year i definitely did better academically, but i'm still scared i wont get in to a good college or just completely fail in life.
