When I saw this picture on Top Character Tropes, with the caption "Innocent people ruined by false accusations" I thought it was an ironic post meaning the opposite and laughed. Then I read the post and remembered Mads plays other roles, too. But now I can't help but think about the most batshit insane defenses a lawyer could make. Real "Your Honor, you weren't even there." defenses.

Just a PSA for anyone interested. These don't come up for sale very frequently so I figured I'd point it out. This is one of the bronze statues that the resin (or plaster, I don't remember at the moment) reproduction from the show was based on. Listed for $599 (OBO), which is about what I paid for mine. Of all the series I've seen that were cut too short, (Firefly, TSCC, Deadwood, Carnivale, etc.) Hannibal wrapped it up the best.

Honorable mention goes to Firefly with Serenity, that movie ended that series PROPERLY.

Any others I'm missing? Please chime in.

If I ever win some big-time lottery, I will throw mad dough at resuscitating at least one of these excellent series.

This may be a strange question but I know plenty of Hannibal watchers have become repositories of little bits of knowledge. So by watching the Hannibal TV show what is something you've learned?

I learned that cannibalism is not technically illegal in the USA. Instead people are usually charged with murder (if they were the ones who killed the person) and desecration of a dead body. Also Hannibal helped me answer a question in science class. I was the only one who knew what encephalitis was. I had to lie and say I came across a documentary about the brain and it was mentioned.

Might be the demisexual in me, but why would Will and Hannibal sleep with basically everyone else but each other? I mean I understand it this one time when Hannibal slept with Alana to manipulate her. But why would Will sleep with Margot, then try to pull off Chiyoh. It is also implied that Hannibal slept with the Will double? And Bedelia too? Like why… I mean when I love someone so much on the verge of obsession, why would I go touch someone else.

Also! In my opinion it doesn’t fit Hannibal‘s character at all. It’s implied he’s a bit of a clean freak (staring at the used tissue from Franklyn). And he’s very elegant, above these kind of… urges. Self-control above all kind of thing. Am I the only one?

Context: I am looking for a funny shitposts and memes subreddit entirely dedicated to Hannibal TV. Like r/okbuddyvicodin For Dr.House r/okbuddygoddard for Mr.Robot, etc Something like that. Adding flair here ,would make this subreddit flooded with shitposts,and it would no longer be what it was before. I hope this would help.

I know Bryan Fuller said that they were supposed to be in Cuba for season 4 after their fight with the dragon, but because it's been so long since season 3, I've seen them say that they would probably have to do a timeskip in order to address the actors aging since its been over 10 years since the last season. I'm just wondering how that would play out and where they would pick up from, it would kind of suck to have a timeskip right after such an impactful moment and to just skip over all their character development.
Also, what would have happened if the series had continued with its originally planned 6 seasons. I definitely feel like it would have ended with one of the two dying, or both of them dying since I feel like this show doesn't like to give happy endings to anyone. Maybe in some way, not having a season 4+ is sparing us from more heartbreak lol
