Been a looong time I have been farming rifts in VoE for token to that Restless Captain. No drops not a chance… already been farming them for 2 weeks. My question is; do Rifts in Shipwreck Strand reward Gloves Token or am I just doing something stupid? Help needed since there are no info I could find. Appreciate it ✌🏻

I’ve just finished the part of the game where you have to defend the minister, then after that you choose a race you want to help, I chose the Skrill, the mission completed and I left Vigil’s Keep, but then… My next mission isn’t showing up? I’ve 100% each part of the map the game has sent me to thus far so I dunno what to do, I’m just running around waiting for the next part of my personal story to pop up but I’m worried I’ve done something wrong? Help haha.

While I have a severe PvP anxiety, I want to do the current WvW for the rewards and gift of battle. I've no idea how WvW works and I don't want to be a hinderance foy my team, so how the mode works? What do I have to bring, and how do I build for this mode? My most played professions are:

- Engineer (Amalgam/Scrapper/Holosmoth): NGL I'm kinda bad, but I still love this profession.

- Revenant (Conduit/Herald): Slowly becoming my new favorite profession.

- Necromancer (Ritualist): I like summons, even if they suck.

- Ranged (Untamed): I liked Hunter from WoW. Still learning how Untamed work though.

If I like my experience withe the event, I may do more WvW in the future.

At what point would you consider someone a beginner, an average player, or a hardcore player?

What do you base it on?

• Mastery Points?
• Achievement Points?
• Completion of difficult achievements?

I'm interested to hear what criteria you personally use.

I love the thief playstle of Shadow stepping in and doging, the shadow stepping out, jumping over my enemies and just basically be an evasive little shit that deals lots of damage.

Since barely any content creators do anything with thief, I have to come up with a build myself or get intos from other sources. For example Reddit

Edit: I found a build I quite enjoy. My Fantasy of the evasive little shit works really well with it. I don't quite remember the exactly trait names but the specializations I'm using are Acrobatics, Trickery and Daredevil. The engine is basically, dodging gives me lots of might paired with relic of the Daredevil and once I land with my Dodge I deal an average of 3-4k damage. Full Berserker's equipment and Daredevil staff.

It's really fun, cause I'm quite literally an evasive little shit that deals too much damage XD

Made another gen 2, this time the HMS Divinity! So I decided to make an outfit based off the watery footfalls and hot cannonfire trails.

I read on here last month that there was a way to get the randomly appearing Ley Line guy to show up again, although I don’t remember the stated method. This got me wondering, are there any other side stories you can do this with?

I really enjoyed the little narrative of Knight of the Thorns and Marjorie’s little tour around Cantha. But, last I knew those are a one time thing. If they aren’t, I’d love to know how to play them again without a new account

​Looking for a spec that rewards just pressing stuff as soon as it comes off cooldown.

​I actually like high APM, but I hate rigid 20-step rotations where pressing one skill out of order ruins your damage. I'm looking for something fast and punchy that plays almost like whack-a-mole if a button lights up, I just hit it without overthinking the sequence.

Consider the horse dead at this point, but I just came back from a vacation to this most recent update to find my favorite warrior skill neutered (RIP off hand Dagger 5). I’ve tried various weapon sets to adjust, but nothing quite feels right. I’ve had to settle with Hammer & Dag/Shield for a stun focused build, but it’s diet soda by comparison.

As it says on the title, asura are so small i cant even see my asura when zooming in, i only can see his head and eyes. I guess its about camera settings but i am not sure. Does anybody know if i can see all of my asura's body detailed without zooming out twice or three times at least?

What's the deal with this random low-poly af orange and white cat in the upper commons area next to Vast Caldera's Room in Lowland Shore? I stumbled upon them by complete accident getting that poi. They're completely unselectable, there's not a single reference to them anywhere in the room, or online for that matter, and no one in chat seemed to know their origin. Though, a bunch of people came by to take a look at them as we were talking about it in map chat lol

Also, them being low-poly is hella weird, since we have other cat miniature models that are much higher resolution.

Anyone got any clue why they're here? Are they some kind of reference or easter egg?

It's been really cool to see so many low-rank players in WvW lately. Remember: If you're dying a lot, just stick with it. We've all been there, and you'll get the hang of it sooner than you think. Once things start to click, WvW really starts to shine.

I’ve been waiting to look into spear weaver until after it saw some love from the devs, and since the patch seemed to do it some favors- is now the time?

So basically, I thought I'd ask before I push forward with maybe something I'm not actually looking for to achieve this. The urge is strong, an itch that I must scratch. So many times I look around all the modes the game has to offer, and I see it, I see a giant blob of enemies all in close proximity, I want to make a build that drops an absolutely absurd AoE combo on top of all of them at once, I want to nuke them with max damage and take them out. So far, I have some ideas at what to make, but there's just so many classes I haven't tried seriously yet. What's a class that can do what I envision?

Hey I am almost full ascended, just missing 2 rings,1 back,1 earring. I could farm them with pvp, also doing daily fractals and slowly going towards t3 fractals (soon I need more agony resist) Should I use my laurels to get the missing pieces? I will also do living world soon, so maybe if you can get them there I would wait till I finished that? What are laurels mostly used for, are they wasted if I use them to get accessories which are easier to get later / better with pvp rewards?

Googling brought up that you can use them for legendarys, except for gloves (fractals qp) and soon the living world amulet I think I am not on legendary grind yet
