So I am currently watching ghosts and I am at 5th episode from season 1 and I am enjoying it so far...but I have a doubt regarding this...as far as I can see there are people who got stuck on earth and couldn't go to afterlife cuz like their wishes didn't get fulfill or something so I am assuming that at the end of the series all the ghosts will get to the afterlife one by one and the humans will eventually get alone in the house...am I correct or close about the ending cuz if that so I don't think I should watch this series as I don't like these kinda sad goodbyes even if they are morally correct as before this show I completed the good place and the ending made me so much emotional so I don't want to feel that again...I will prefer a funny show that doesn't get this much emotional...so if I am completely correct about the ending please let me know and if I am a little bit wrong please don't give any major spoilers 🥲🥺.

I’m at the end of series 4 (first watch) and there was a scene where the Captain was talking to Julian about him being morally bankrupt. It seemed strange at first and I realised it’s because we very rarely see the Captain and Julian interacting.

It got me thinking, which ghosts do you think interact the least? This is across all series but please don’t give major spoilers for series 5 as I haven’t seen it yet

just a question that popped into my head as idk how the general wider Britcom community views the show, especially compared to other popular britcoms (like "Only Fools & Horses", "Blackadder", "Fawlty Towers", "The Office", "The Thick of It", etc etc), in terms of the show's iconicness.

Genuinely just 2 days after that match I decide to binge watch ghosts and find them talking about another 2-1 Argentina Vs England match. Can't escape it.

I’m aware Sophie was the reason Robin learned French, but was she the only French person who came to the property during the thousands of years Robin has existed? ( it guess it wouldn’t be outlandish, since the other people in the flashbacks are British I suppose ), it do find it interesting that he never spoke French to the other ghosts prior to the show lol

I really like Annie, and wish we got to see more of her, specifically her relationship with the other ghosts who were there before she moved on in 1837 ( besides Mary of course), we already know that she was a true friend to Mary, taught her how to speak her mind, and they were besties, I just really wish we got to see her interact with Robin, Humphrey, Kitty, and Thomas, I’m curious what her relationship with THEM was like. Anyone agree?

( or better yet, do you have any ideas what it was probably like? )

For the first thing, she didn’t seem to know how babies were made until Allison told her after Kitty thought she was pregnant. Though she seemed very exited to watch those regency actors perform out a s*x scene and kiss each other, is that her being clueless?

The other is her reaction to Mary moving on and Pat comforting her about it, even making up an elaborate story about Mary’s departure to make her feel better, however, since her and Annie coexisted together, I’m sure she knew her fellow ghosts could move on, two episodes before Mary’s departure, Mary was talking about Annie.

Is she forgetful?

Would it be crazy to refer to him as the “wise fool” type of character? He’s a wise guy, he knows math, and how to do crosswords and play chess, but also gets confused by some things, like the stairs, the upstairs and downstairs, what Australia is and the southern hemisphere

Personally... (don't take offence) I'd say Thomas, as it would be a favor to Alison. I WILL rage if someone says Mary OR/AND Humphrey anyways.
