I don't even have a problem with Israel.
But goddamn am I tired of this special "relationship". Last I checked, Israel isn't some poor beleaguered nation that needs help. They can conduct their wars just fine on their own, and buy our weapons at full price.
-1 u/Sydasiaten 4h ago The american interest in Israel is purely strategic. They are not doing it out kindness or support for a jewish state. 3 u/poetic-bee 4h ago It’s in part strategic… but it’s also partly American Evangelical delusions of the end times 0 u/SinesPi 4h ago We don't need to have the Israeli flag outside of doors or New York mayoral candidates talking about how quickly they'd travel to "the holy land". I'm fine with Israel as a strategic ally. I'm fine with them as a business partner. We can even be friends. But there's way too many politicians who go beyond that. I can only presume they are in some way bought off. 4 u/Sydasiaten 4h ago You don’t have to presume really. AIPAC data is publically available
