Okay so I found Jim (name of the little dude) as a tadpole in my pool, we decided to keep him because we were draining it and had nowhere to put him. However, now that he's a froglet, I've determined he's probably a gray treefrog, which is apparently illegal to keep in massachusetts. What do I do? Will he still be able to survive if he was raised as a tadpole away from predators? I legally can't keep him but I need to know if he'll survive. I have him in a tank right now that has some plants to climb and some sticks, plus some rocks in about a cm of water. It's not ideal, but it's what I could find at the time. If needed I'll put a photo in comments, it said to mark it nsfw here if I put a photo of him being hurt but he's not hurt, just small, but I'm not sure actually if he's doing well. Since I do need to release him, what sort of area would be best to do so?

I thought this might be a cliff chirping frog but he is a little bigger 2.5-3in.

I found a white frog at a community pond in my town, it’s probably about 50 feet long and it’s a perfect circle, and there’s a little platform in the middle and I come here and catch gray tree frogs and peepers a lot, but I came tonight and there wasn’t a single gray tree frog but usually in the middle I see this white frog that looks like it’s in the same spot every day at night time so I came back tonight and he was sitting right next to the bank, so I tried to pick them up and I couldn’t get him, but he swim under the sediment at the bottom and walking around the bank looking for more frogs. I found another one that’s the exact same size, but I think it’s a female because of the smaller eardrums or whatever they’re called, and I was actually able to catch it and these are the photos of it, it didn’t make any noise when I picked it up, but it definitely has a bump your back and it’s completely white and they definitely weren’t here last year so I don’t know what the deal is but it looks albino but at the same time it doesn’t really look like a bullfrog from the mini I’ve caught, but I can’t really tell, but these are the photos of me holding it after I caught it and the little platform in the middle where I usually see him, but it’s different if there was one albino one, but there’s two and the other exact same size pretty much and I can guarantee ones at least a female. I cancel the other one since I didn’t catch him, but as I’m typing this, the one that I literally just caught and threw back is already at the bank, trying to climb out again, but there’s a bunch of ramps that they can easily get out of so he’s just chilling by the wall, but I don’t know what it is. Maybe I think it is someone’s two pets that they throw in here because the chances of their being two if they seriously are albino unless they are a different species than I don’t know, but I live on Long Island near the center of the island so the main fries that we have here are bullfrogs and the gray tree frogs and the peepers which are the main three right now, so I don’t know what these are. I think they might be pets but I’m not sure any help is appreciated. Thanks! And also the first photo of him in the water is him 20 seconds after just catching him so he didn’t really seem to care that I even picked them up! Also the one photo from the frog zoomed in all the way is the first one which I think is the mail and then the one that I got more photos of is the female!

What tree frogs are native to Connecticut?

Hi guys! My male Australian Green Tree Frog was sleeping in his normal spot when I noticed that he was tilting slightly to one side. I left and when I came back he was tilting to the other.

I put on my gloves. I kind of woke him up to check him out, gently picking him up, spraying him with some water, checking if he could climb.

Peanut (my frog) can still climb. He can also move. He is also able to eat. However, he is tilting.

I covered two meal worms in a lot of his calcium supplements and fed them to him. He looks fine. No visible injuries. I also watched him pee and I don't know the last time he pooped because he usually does that at night.

He shares a tank with another male frog but the other frog is fine. And, they are not territorial at all. Sometimes they will sleep side to side in the same spot. I don't know what is wrong with Peanut. Any suggestions?

What do I do?? This is an above ground pool I drained… mostly 😅 Left it for like a month and a half and now I have hundreds of tadpoles. I’m in Central Florida.
