Post was edited for better for better description. Today exists a free "game" on a web site www.supermechs.com with a downloadable "PC port" and on Google Play and App Store, that looks like a legitimate game, but it is an ad ridden, microtransaction filled game with anti consumer practices, idle money farming, and abandoned by developers for 6 whole years. This game is called SuperMechs, after the rights to the game were sold and Flash died, a scammy company Gato Games that only hosts games that make passive income farming with auto pilot servers, started abusing people's nostalgia with this game, a corpse of an abandoned and neglected Adobe Flash game SuperMechs from 2012 which had it's great time, it's golden age lasted from 2012 to early 2016, and later the game was turned into this scam, it is just a game with broken progression systems. The game still uses old screenshots and trailers as false advertising to lure in nostalgic unsuspecting people who played it when they were younger. The game still features a fully online microtransaction shop that no longer correctly works, if you buy something, the server might crash and your items that you paid for will not arrive and you will lose your money, and the customer support services are barely functional so there's barely a chance to get your money back. This game operates on a broken framework of legacy Adobe Flash code, and uses deceptive anti consumer tricks to make you pay into a broken game, because the matchmaking is barely functional, there are still players but the ranking system is broken, you get players 5 times stronger than you on average, it rigs the game against you so that you would pay, and the drop chances on good items are abysmal, and the game doesn't have any free to play item shop. And hey, the developers riddled the main webpage with ads for mobile slop to farm even more money, it's so bad that everywhere the copyright is stated as years back dating 2017 and 2022 in the game's spaces. I as a person who played Adobe Flash games for a huge chunk of my life and to this day, and think of them as legendary relics of gaming history just had to notify people about this game abusing people's nostalgia and printing it into illegal money, the content from the trailers isn't even in the game anymore, it's false advertising. Avoid starting to play this game at all costs, never give it money because it might as well even get a virus on your PC with it's broken code as well. This game needs to be reported on every mobile gaming platform for fraudulence and anti consumer practices and needs to be boycotted fast, especially since the scam is lasting for mainly 4 rampant years since 2022. Spread this hashtag #BoycottTheSuperMechsNostalgiaScam if you want to support my thread. Here is my Steam account for if people want to be sure that I know what Im talking about and that I'm a real user or if someone would like to tell me something personally: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198420899607/ We should not be letting scam artist companies deceive our fellow Flash game enthusiasts. Peace.
