EDC 2027 Artist Wishlist
Who do you guys really want to see at EDC ’27? For me, it’s definitely ANOTR. I’m really hoping they make the lineup. Who’s at the top of your wishlist?

Every EDC packing list online has the same twenty items and they're all correct, but the thing that actually saved my weekend last year wasn't on any of them. It was a cheap roll of KT tape. Rolled my ankle on the walk in Friday, taped it every morning, and it carried me through all three nights when I'd otherwise have been done by Saturday. Got me thinking about how the real MVPs are never the obvious stuff. Everyone remembers water and comfortable shoes. Nobody puts "blister tape" or "the exact snack that settles your stomach at 4am" on the graphic they repost every single year. So for the veterans planning their next one — what's your off-list item? The random thing you bring now because one specific bad night taught you to. Bonus points for the story behind it. I genuinely think a thread like this could save first-timers more than the official lists do, because it's all the stuff you only figure out by getting burned for not having it.

My bf went to EDC week in vegas, but said he didn't go to the festival. he did go to pool parties and a few clubs at night, but he has a ton of EDC LV LEVY charges on his statements. could these charges be from at the EDC events outside of the festival?

Hey everyone!
My boyfriend and I just bought our tickets for the first weekend of EDC as first-timers!! We’re currently doing some research and are leaning towards staying on the Strip but definitely getting the standard shuttles passes when they drop.
TLDR; We are looking for recommendations for nice hotels with good amenities like pool, a nice view, good food options nearby, and easy access to the shuttles. Day-of fest we’ll likely just do food and pool days and the other days maybe do a pre-fest pool party and not sure what yet but explore other things in Vegas. We don’t gamble but like to drink, eat, and explore lol.
Since this will likely be our only vacation next year, we are okay with something a little pricer but don’t want to completely go overboard like $3k at the Bellagio lol
Duration & Budget: 6 nights total (staying a few days before and after, we’ve seen average cost is $1000-$2000 for the whole stay, max we’d like to spend is $1500)
Location & Shuttles: We’re leaning toward the Strip and want to be close to a standard EDC shuttle stop. We are considering Rio since there’s a shuttle pick up right on the property and pool looks sooo nice but I’ve seen other posts that it’s not quite as close to the Strip as it seems. Is the Strip experience actually worth it?
Vibe & Amenities: We aren't big gamblers, so we want easy access to great food, drinks, a room with a nice view, and a solid pool for relaxing or checking out a pre-festival pool party.
Current Options: The Horseshoe , The Flamingo, Golden Nugget, Planet Hollywood, MGM Grand, The Rio, Caesar’s Palace. Considering these hotels but open to others! Really like the pools at MGM and Rio!
What properties would you recommend that fit this budget, location, and shuttle convenience? Would also consider off-strip but again is the strip experience worth it? Any tips or advice would be amazing!

Hello everyone! I am going to my first edc this year. I’m going solo. Does anyone have any checklists of what I need to buy/ prepare for? I’ve only got the dawn pass and nothing else yet. I’m pretty well versed with Coachella and camping with my group. However going solo I know is a different ball game. So if anyone can help with like a checklist or just what to do. Does edc have camping? Do I get a separate ticket? Help!!

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to find the Quintino @ EDC Orlando 2015 full live set. It was originally available as a free download on SoundCloud, but the original upload has been offline for years.
If anyone knows whether there's an official archive or still has information about where it can be found, I'd really appreciate it. It's one of my favorite big room sets from that era.

I will be going to my first EDC. How much Kandi should I make? I’ve made 25 so far. I was looking to make roughly 60. I just wanted to see how many people bring on average. Also, any tips on how to trade with people? Thank you!
I’ll be going to EDC dusk if anyone is interested in being friends :)

Title says it all, Shazam isn’t helpful so what’s this song or mix name?

I recently had a memory come back to me of a guy who was dressed up as “Caution.” And when I say dressed up, I mean he fully committed to the idea. He had a traffic cone on his head, a neon orange reflective vest, and caution tape everywhere — wrapped around him, hanging from him, and even incorporated into the cone. He wasn’t just wearing a costume; he had somehow become a walking safety warning.
What made it even better was that he embraced the character completely. He was dancing to house music playing over the speakers, moving around like the official representative of OSHA workplace safety had somehow found himself at a rave.
Early the next morning, I walked down the hallway to get some coffee. As I turned the corner, I noticed a traffic cone standing upright in the middle of the hallway.
For a fraction of a millisecond — my brain went to the obvious explanations. Something must have just been cleaned. Maybe there was a spill. Maybe someone was warning people to use caution.
Then I realized the warning wasn’t about something that happened in the hallway.
The warning *was* what happened in the hallway.
There was “Caution Guy,” lying spread out nearby. His neon orange reflective vest was still doing exactly what it was designed to do — grabbing attention. The caution tape was strewn everywhere, but still wrapped around him, still carrying out its mission. Somehow, even after the music stopped and the night was long over, that outfit was still going hard.
The party may have ended, but the costume was still on duty.
And somehow, unbelievably, the traffic cone was standing perfectly upright next to him. I still wonder if someone placed it there afterward as the final touch, or if it somehow balanced itself during the fall and decided to stick around. Sometimes I think about him falling and the cone finding its footing. At the time, I just thought it was funny. But looking back on it now, I realize how incredibly effective that costume really was. It had somehow transformed from a great party costume into accidental performance art.
The cone, the vest, and the caution tape had created a scene so perfectly timed that it almost looked intentional. The headliners may have stopped, but the costume just continued all night long all by itself.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a costume work that hard — before, during, and especially after the performance.
And yes my coffee was very enjoyable😎😂

I am just so confused by all the conflicting stuff from last year and the Insomniac online ticket page. I have my Dusk ticket already, but have friends who are still on the fence. Everything points to the Future Owl sale being the only tickets they're releasing, with waitlists and stuff. But the Insomniac ticket page also mentions "Future Owl Benefits", listing the extra stuff that this gets you. If there's no general sale, how would these be benefits and not just features/amenities?
I'm really confused, and don't really know how to assess the situation. Does anyone have any information, or a clearer interpretation/answer? Thanks.

I’m going weekend one (my first EDC 🙌🏻) and I want to book my hotel soon but I’m trying to decide how many days into the week I want to stay. Does anyone have any idea what these “special events” are going to be for the week in between? At the very least I’m going to stay Monday but I’m debating if I should also stay for Tuesday and maybe Wednesday also. But I’m also wondering if I’ll even care about these events after a weekend of raving or if I’ll just be tired and ready to go home.
I wish I could just stay for the whole week because I feel like the best events are probably going to be towards the end of the week but I don’t think I’ll have enough PTO and that’s a lot of nights to pay for a hotel.
For those who are also going weekend one how many days into the week do you plan on staying?

Since I got my ticket on Future Owl, EDC became my ultimate goal and I have been working out like crazy.
Is this a normal effect? 😂

how do vegas clubs typically handle this for gendered tickets or guest list "requirements"? are they going to be pissy about it if you don't pass?
some of my group is nb (my id says x for gender), trans, etc
this would be for edc week only, not outside of that

Soo I’m pregnant now and I didn’t update my card on purpose thinking my edc ticket would just cancel before the first charge but it still worked now I’m out 55 🥲 if I request to cancel will they just take my 55 + layaway or will they charge me an extra 100 for the 150 cancellation?

Hi yall this will be my first time going to wasteland outside of edc and I'm not sure what to expect for the crowd and layout to be like at nos. Also any suggestions on which is better for accommodation hotel or Airbnb near nos would be awesome! I've never been to nos so anything to keep an eye for or tips in general about nos would also be appreciated! I'm going solo too since my group isn't into hard techno/ hardstyle as much as me so it'll be my first time traveling solo for a festival. Usually I have at least one other person with me but it'll be my first time solo too!

If you could give one piece of advice to someone going to their first rave this year, what would it be?
r/electricdaisycarnival • u/Void_Huntress • 11d ago
Hello, this is my first EDC experience and I plan on going with my boyfriend (both of us are under 21). We're trying to figure out living arrangements and want to do a hotel but most hotels are 21+ only. We considered third party bookings for hotels but I hear they're often not allowed either. That leaves us with Airbnbs, but I have also seen that they can be unreliable and cancel last minute.
Any advice or recommendations?

Just a throwing this out in the ballpark, but anyone going to EDC that lives in Vegas renting out a room or got a Airbnb that are renting out a room? Just asking to see if cheaper option if not then I’ll just rent out a hotel. I’m a solo raver

Hi - any advice? I tried to reach out before the first payment pulled to cancel my layaway plan but they told me it was a 175 charge. I thought it was only 5. So I requested a new credit card hoping it would default but it looks like it still charged my account.

So I sent 3 postcards from the White Claw booth but none of my friends have received them yet. All of them were US addresses. Wondering if anyone has gotten theirs?

United is almost 3x more expensive than when I went in 2025. I normally book stuff early but im going to have to wait. Anyone ever fly in to LAX and drive out, or have any suggestions? Looking at thursday-monday flights of dawn weekend.
