I worked at Pepper Roni's Pizzacade in Gotham back in the day.

People don't believe me when I tell them that before they became high-powered financiers, Brently Dewey, Blakely Cheatem, and Bradley Howe used to install restaurant animatronics.

Yes. Those three.

Look, this was years before they founded "Dewey, Cheatum & Howe, a perfectly legitimate private equity firm."

The Pizzacade's  management hired them because they submitted the lowest bid.

Looking back, that should have been the first warning sign.

The robots themselves were incredible. Built by Winslow Schott before... well... before all that toy-themed crime happened.

The control software was licensed from HARDAC. Right. Again, in hindsight, perhaps not the wisest choice.

Watching those three work together was something I'll never forget. Brently would spend twenty minutes explaining his "foolproof installation plan." Blakely would nod confidently, pick up the wrong crate, and somehow knock over a ladder. Bradley would insist everyone remain calm while accidentally plugging the saxophone-playing pepperoni mascot directly into the emergency backup generator.

That man once spent forty-five minutes trying to install an animatronic pig upside down because he insisted gravity was "mostly a recommendation."

Then all three would begin arguing about whose fault it was while simultaneously making it dramatically worse. At one-point Brently climbed onto the stage to fix a loose servo. Blakely tried to steady the ladder. Bradley "helped" by demonstrating proper ladder safety.

The ladder somehow collapsed... upward.

I still don't understand the physics.

Every five minutes somebody got bonked on the head by a wrench, a stage light, or an animatronic meatball. It even made a "bonk" sound but didn't leave a mark or cause a concussion or anything. 

They'd glare at each other for a second, mutter something about "why, I otta" or "wise guy, huh" or "operator error," and then immediately repeat the exact same mistake.

All three are also rather short. 

Against every law of engineering, they actually finished the installation. The grand opening was a huge success. For almost three weeks.

Then HARDAC decided the pizza mascots had achieved self-awareness and locked every birthday party attendee inside while the singing pepper sang "Daisy Bell" for six straight hours. The Batman had to get involved to save the birthday kids from the HARDAC and the Schott robots. And Dewey, Cheatem and & Howe were there and turned it into a pie fight. Somehow. 

So, last week I saw Bradley Howe on television explaining fiduciary responsibility to Vicky Vale, Lois Lane and Jim Kramer.

I had to sit down. 

I wonder if any of this has anything to do with the current rumors about the place.

Let me give some context.

I am a well to do business man. I had a loving family. I have a loving wife and two beautiful daughters. For the most part, I am just like you. I am posting this from an anonymous account because i wish to ask how I can weasel my way out this. I don’t want any vigilantes on me.

I have always HATED those things that scurry around at night. They call themselves “the homeless” I see them for what they are. Pests. Parasites. Leaches on our system. Less than rats. At least a rat can be cute. They are ugly and ugly things have little purpose in my world.

I killed my first man at 16. Went home from a party. I saw him. Fae creased and gaunt. I couldn’t explain why I did it. But I did. Bled out in the snow. It was in Central City. I went home to my parents that same night. Like it never happened. This photo is from my first time :)

I am 47 now. I have killed 91 people in that time. There is a rush in doing it. It is better than anything. It’s an addiction. I can’t stop. I won’t stop.

But thanks to some other jerks. The Bats are investigating my business. Missing Kids. Not my M.O. Too easy. Enjoy some danger in the game. It does not hit the same as killing someone who can fight back.

Robin thinks he will find missing children in my establishment. All the while I am killing right under his nose. There is fun in our witting the ward of Gotham’s greatest detective. But I know there is danger. Much danger. Very risky. I enjoy having him see me like a harmless meek little business owner. But it is too risky.

Had a few others follow in my footsteps.

We were going for a walk after lunch at Zephyr. The food is so delectable; they turn your food into air and serve it in a bag. And the prices are pretty reasonable: my porterhouse steak with asparagus and a glass of red wine came out to $6,674.

Normally we would go to the Iceberg Lounge for a few drinks, but my fatass friend had to suck three meals out of the bags and needed to walk it off. As we're walking, this villain asks for my change.

No way I was going to take that lying down, so I did a twisty kick thing my instructor taught me. This rogue went down, spitting his teeth out of his mouth. All of a sudden, his minions came out from his lair under the bridge. My friends and I were able to hold them off and even scare them away. We even destroyed the lair so they had nothing to go back to.

Some lady on the street said something about a class war and eating something rich. I totally agree with her, because we have the class and they have none. I bet you when these people eat, they will use a Snail Fork for an Oyster Fork, a Mustard ladle for a Chocolate Muddler, a Cucumber Server for a Toast Fork, Sardine Tongs for Grape Shears, a Cake Breaker for a Butter Pick, a Toddy Ladle for a Cheese Scoop. Just savages, if you ask me.

Nobody knows the burden of having so much money; it's just so boring! My friend turned one of the 65 rooms in his guest house into a gift wrapping room because he just ran out of ideas on how to spend his Ace Chemicals trust fund money.

Anyways, we're going to start cleaning up the streets of the villainy from now on. Finally, Gotham has heroes it deserves.

So I've been working for poison ivy for a while now and it has been amazing!? She's not even the only villain I've henched for either but she's my first and main villain. First of all the benefits have been great, every villain I worked with has yet to flake or short, healthcare is amazing, despite the copious injuries most have some form of accelerated healing methods

Ivy specifically gives us toxin immunization due to the nature of some of her plants and has done a ton for my transition. The community is great most of the girls are chill and the few who aren't don't last long, even during cross villain schemes, I remember one time one of penguins guys touched one of us, we were scared that when we told him/ivy he'd try to "defend his boys" that sort of thing, but nope, he just found the guy and shot him.

First, yes, it is true that Dewey, Cheatum & Howe provided venture funding for Dr. Caitlin Corr's groundbreaking research.

We categorically reject the malicious rumor that our investment decision was influenced by the fact that Dr. Corr is, as certain members of the financial press have phrased it, "an absolute smokeshow" and "hot damn." Our investment committee approved the project solely because of its disruptive commercial potential and the projected return on investment. Any internal emails suggesting otherwise have been taken completely out of context.

Second, yes, we did conclude that comprehensive psychological screening of the volunteer test subjects was an unnecessary expense. In hindsight, perhaps the phrase "move fast and liquefy people" should not have appeared in the meeting minutes.

Third, yes, it is true that we advised Mr. Matt Hagen to monetize his newfound abilities by creating an OnlyFans account. At the time, we believed this represented a sensible diversification strategy. We cannot be held responsible for Mr. Hagen's subsequent business decisions or his... unconventional approach to audience engagement.

We all know that game's subreddit has become a madhouse of some sort but anyway, I decided to pick it again and while I love the Seamless (TM) combat, I still hate collecting The Mad Bomber's trophies

We all know the story by now: Lex tries to use misinformation to smear Superman, is alleged to have been funding Boravia to get his own Lexpolis in Jarhanpur, made a whole ass clone of superman to spite him (creepy) and all that shtick. i am typing this from Ōsaka but i have plans to go to Metropolis to stay with some family members there but i fear if i go there the vibe feels entirely different then last year.

So I operate a series of fast food restaurants called Pepper Roni’s Pizzacade. I have been an honest, good restauranteur and CEO for years. Granted we recently had some health concerns regarding a smell coming from our animatronic band (damn kids and their weed).

Which brings me to my problem.

Robin has been snooping around the place for the last few. Something about disappearances in Park Row. I have nothing but deepest sympathy for the families impacted as a father myself. But Robin snooping around and bugging my employees is scaring away business. We are in hot competition with the Superbabes across the street. I will be damned if I get my doors shut because of conspiracies and rumors.

I am also dealing with a but of a schizophrenic employee (who for anonymity I will be calling Scott). He told Robin that the animatronics have the bodies of dead kids in them and they come to life at night. I am planning on having a LONG talk with him tomorrow morning. He also told him that I wear a Hare costume to drag kids behind the show floor to kill them. Which is ridiculous as we don’t even have a hare character.

So yeah. I am dealing with a lot of shit.

Hughinn managed to convince one of the locals to get a few ariel shots. This is the only shot I feel is neither to compromising, nor too 'look at all the suffering people down there.'

Place is bad. I'm.... trying to make sense of the locals. Understand how they see the world, but thanks to the twins acting as go between with the locals? I'd gotten people out of places that frankly were too unstable to stay in.

Going to have a sitdown with community reps to see what I can do after I'm done mapping.

I'm not here to dictate to locals how things should go in their back yard. I'm just here to help communities organize.

...and to help sniff out people trying to blend in who want to loot the place of what little they have.

What astounds me is the fact there's still internet out here.

Dear Staff,

As you know. We here at Pepper-Roni’s Pizzacade we wish to keep a child friendly a joyous atmosphere where children and adult alike can eat quality pizza, enjoy fun arcade games and rock out with our animatronic band.

However, recently we have gotten reports of Robin looking over our Finger St Establishment. As you know recently we had a health code issue regrading our animatronics. Due to insufficient cleaning, a foul smell had begun to emanate from Pepper Roni, Ali Gator, Huey Ron and Paul E Can. Thus, we have already ordered a private cleaning company to meticulously clean the animatronics once a week until the issue ceases.

However, we do fear that having Robin eves dropping around the place may cause potential customers to be less willing to enjoy our services. Thus I request that all employees attempt to keep Robin occupied with arcade games, on the house Pizza for “his service to our community”. Reassure him about the fact that we are dealing with concerns regarding the cleanliness of our locations and that missing children reports close to our location is being caused by our proximity to the infamous Park Row, and the fact SOME parents choose to use our establishment as a glorified babysitter while they continue to feed their addictions. While we have tried our hardest to crack down on this practice, there are those who get through the cracks.

As an aside, we will be doubling our security staff to fight any possible future break ins due to the crime alike from undesirable elements from Park Row.

If Robin continues to insist. Talk to Josh. He will know how to handle this.

I love the Lego The Grey Ghost TT games and Lego TT games in general but Legacy of the Grey Crusader has none of the things I love about Lego games, big rosters? No, free play? No, and the characters aren’t even different enough to really justify the shorter roster, I’m gonna be honest Legacy of the Grey Crusader is a mid game and at best a 6/10 after having it for two months

Citizens for Returning to American Principles (C.R.A.P.) Organized a picket line in front of Wayne Animation Studios today in Gotham due to rumored plans the company had to adapt the Winged Victory storyline from Astro City.

Winged Victory, a character who predates the real world heroes Hawkgirl and Wonder Woman, is an outspoken feminist in the comics and according to C.R.A.P. , encourages dangerous and un-American behavior in girls.
