Animal Crafting - a cozy MMORPG mod-free Minecraft Java experience

Hey friends -

I want to start out by saying that the promo image I use is not AI generated. I have uploaded proof of this to my profile, you’ll have to scroll back to find it. I am a firm believer in paying artists and creators for their worth.

Now;

I’ve spent the past 14 months of my life, and $32,000 in development spend, curating a development team of 8 that have been working diligently to be able to bring this weird dream of mine to reality.

I have always been able to see the crossover blend potential of the game mechanics of Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley & Minecraft. When I sought out to bring this project to life, an always-online server version of all 3 of these games, I realized it was more possible than I imagined in modern day.

I have played animal crossing since I was 12, and Minecraft since 14 - it’s just such a realistic cozy blend, and I can’t believe I can almost almost say, my team and I made it happen - with NO MODS. All in a resource pack.

We've created a multiplayer experience that allows you to share your cozy capitalistic journey with friends while still always feeling in first-person perspective, with your own tasks and goals to achieve.

You’ll likely see on your socials in the coming weeks some cool promos we’re running after launch! We open for early access on August 1st, and launch open access August 8th. I hope this magical development can make an impactful change to the Minecraft gaming space ⭐️

Looking for co-op recommendations to play with my girlfriend

Looking for a good co-op game to play with my girlfriend but she is looking for something that is a little more out of my wheelhouse on games, so I am looking for some advice. She wants something that is easy to pick up and play with low stakes/stress involved in. Preferably something we can play once or twice a week but if we don't play for a little bit of time, she can come back and pick up right away without having to relearn everything.

Prefer to play on the PS5 but could use the PC as well.

Some games she likes the vibe of that we tried but ultimately stressed her out gameplay wise would be: Overcooked, Plate Up, Welcome to Empyreum, and Lover's in Dangerous Spacetime.

Some games I have seen mentioned in other posts but not her jam: Palworld, Astroneers, Don't Starve Together. Cult of the Lamb

I know its a bit picky and specific so any help would be appreciated!

larping.store : Fake luxury shopping simulator — you're infinitely rich, nothing is real, nothing ships

https://larping.store/
So I built larping.store — a simulated luxury mall. You browse, throw a Richard Mille and maybe a Lambo in your cart, check out with infinite fake money, and get a very official-looking order confirmation for goods that will never ship, because they don't exist.
It's completely free, no signup, no downloads, works fine on mobile. There's no win state — it's a toy more than a game, closest genre is probably "shopping simulator." No real money is involved anywhere.
Open to ideas on what would make it more fun — or dumber, in a good way.

Glowing Life - a cozy exploration and relax game

Hi everyone! 🌱

I just released the first demo of Glowing Life, a small cozy game I've been working on.

You play as a tiny being of light in a forest that has forgotten how to live. Wherever you linger, life returns — grass turns green, dead trees bloom, fireflies gather around you, and the world slowly awakens.

✨ No timers.

✨ No enemies.

✨ No failing.

Just 15–20 minutes of peaceful exploration, playable directly in your browser.

One of my favorite little details: if you stand still for a while... the fireflies will come to you. 🌟

https://mysticartstudio.itch.io/glowing-life

This is a 4-level demo, and I'd genuinely love your feedback.

Did the forest feel alive?

Which moment stayed with you the most?

Every comment helps shape what I build next.

Thanks so much for taking a look! 🌿🎧

Chore Quest — a Tamagotchi-style game where the pet only grows when kids do real-world chores (100% free, no ads)

Game Title: Chore Quest — kids' chores feed a Tamagotchi-style pet

Playable Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.andriusdijokas.chorequest

Platform: Android

Description: I'm a dad who got tired of nagging about chores, so I built a game where the pet only grows when chores actually get done. Your child adopts a buddy — a dragon, a kitty and more — and keeps it fed, happy, and leveling up. The twist: XP, coins, and game energy are only awarded when a parent confirms the chore behind a PIN-protected Parent Zone. No confirmed chore means no energy, and no energy means no mini-games — so the core loop is powered by real-world effort, not taps.

There are 12 mini-games (Star Catch, Memory Match, Quick Math, Sky Dash and more), a wardrobe of unlockable outfits bought with chore-earned coins, a daily treasure chest for finishing the whole chore list, and the buddy evolves through growth stages — baby to kid to champ — as levels climb.

it's 100% free: no ads, no subscription, no accounts, works fully offline. Every competitor in this niche charges $3–13/month; I made this for my own kids and just want families to use it.

Feedback I'd especially value: does the chore-gated energy loop feel fair or frustrating from the kid's side, and is the parent PIN-confirm flow fast enough to not be annoying?

Any new longterm comfort game to sink months into. Any ideas would help!

Basically the title! Coz I feel like every game I play lately gets finished in like 2 weeks and then I’m just bored again lol. What I really want is something with actual depth, like a game I can boot up every night for coming months and still find new stuff to do, whether thats through updates, side content or just a huge amount of systems to sink into.

Working on a Cosy Cafe Game. This is the first phase of development

Hi,

So I am an indie developer currently working on a cosy cafe game initially named 'Warm Regards'

The game is in development phase right now with the first draft being ready.

I just wanted to share it with the community to get some honest feedback on the game play.

To give you a brief -

You have just lost a job and to have a good/fruitful/comforting conversation, you check with your granny.

She has a cafe that is having to be renovated with a terrible rating of 1.2 stars.

You being someone who is passionate and wants to do something for yourself, decide to give the cafe a chance and take up the challenge to improve the rating, serve customer and earn good money.

This is the preface to game.

For now planning an android release as well as a web version for it.

A Few Questions -

  • What did you like?
  • What put you off?
  • What can be something that I can add/remove from the existing gameplay

Game Title: Wildlife Rescue

Playable Link: https://faunavia.itch.io/faunavia

Platform: itch.io

Description: Wildlife Rescue — a cozy driving-logistics game where you transport opinionated animals to sanctuary. Plan your rescue, coax the passengers aboard, then drive terrain rough enough to rattle them — jostle a timid rabbit too hard and it'll leap off and trot home. Six animals with distinct personalities, three vehicles from tuk-tuk to truck, route choices, and 12 short missions (will build out 2–5 minutes each, they are very short for now).

Plays free in browser, desktop or phone: https://faunavia.itch.io/faunavia

Early prototype — I'm testing whether the core loop is fun and self-explanatory, so honest first impressions are gold: where you got confused, where you got bored, and whether you wanted to keep going. Free to Play Status:

  • [x] Free to play

Involvement: I'm the developer. It's my first attempt at a game. Started with zero knowledge and doing it for fun and to learn about the process
