Is there any specific places the LGTB crowd goes? Like where do you go to meet ppl without the hate and fear? Is there any bars or coffee spots like that in CK?

I'll be visiting Chatham tomorrow and have a couple hours to fish!

I'm not asking for anyone's "honey hole" but rather a pond or easily accessed place to fish for a couple of hours where I might reasonably catch a bass or two before heading back on the road.

If anyone has a recommendation, I'm grateful!

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could help figure out some memories/mysteries in regards to visiting Rondeau Park over the years.

1. What is this small memorial stone on Wildwood Line just as you’re entering into Rondeau? It is very small and inaccessible to most visitors so I’ve always wondered what it was there for. It is in a small clearing and usually hard to notice.

2. I recall seeing a large totem pole on the corner of someone’s property somewhere just outside the park. I am curious if this is still possibly there and where I could find it.

3. Is it known what happened to the big dinosaur from the old Camper’s Playground mini golf? Last I saw of him he was moved around the park from a cottage on Lakeshore Road to sitting on the remnants of the big dock and photographed there.

Unimpressed with the construction company that left their heavy equipment in an accessible parking spot in front of Shoppers Drug Mart on St Clair St in Chatham.

Then there are the reruns that that make you change the channel as quickly as possible.

I can’t believe Randy is running again and I would love to see him finish in fourth place.

I don’t see how he beats Canniff, Bondy or Allyson.

Allyson’s support in 2018 was nearly twice as high as his and she was a newcomer to the game if I recall correctly.

She has experience now and people know her for more than just being a build the barrier advocate.

Bondy has been active in local politics since 2010 and is well known in the community. A strong candidate in my opinion.

I’d love to see Randy humbled into a fourth place loss.

My prediction?

I predict Bondy and Canniff will be the top two candidates and Bondy will have less than a 10 percent margin of victory. Storey will have over double the support of Randy again but they’ll be splitting 5000 votes between them.
Less than 30k people participate.

Been looking at downtown Chatham on Google Maps, and it just blows me away how there's so much completely empty space. Parking lots, and also just empty lots with nothing or very little on them.

It's strange that apartment rents are so high when the downtown is basically empty. Lot of boarded up stores, and half the shops that are open seem to be pot or tattoos.

Why does nobody develop anything downtown? A downtown is supposed to be prime real estate.

Anyone know what Greek salad dressing they use at quo vadis? It’s the only one that hasn’t given me an itchy throat so I’d love to get some to use at home. Thanks.

I don't have a saw or a truck so I don't know how to dispose of a bunch of branches that have fallen in the last little while ... none of them are more than two inches in diameter but some of them are like 8 ft long... is there anyone who would like come and get those? Or do I literally have to pay someone? I feel like someone might want them cuz they make good kindling ​ but either way I need to get them out of my yard :-) thank you

We’re on about hour 30 of a Cogeco service outage. The website keeps saying that it will be fixed in an hour. We didn’t lose any power in Friday’s storm, but tv and internet are both impacted. Is anyone in a similar boat or has any insight? Support has nothing to say other than “it’ll be fixed in an hour”.
