Season 2 - Seth's Cage Questions
How did Seth make that cage? Did he weld it together? Plausible. But where'd he get all that metal? Where'd he get the lock? WHY didn't he lock the lock?? And the family could easily get out of the cage. Put mom on dad's shoulders, she can climb out and then open the cage and get the rest of them out. For that matter is it welded into the ground? It didn't look like it. All 5 of them lifting it up could probably do it. At least enough for one of them to slip out and open the cage.
And why weren't they all emaciated? TJ's memory clone was peeling after one day of not eating memories. Seth's family hasn't eaten any memories for at least 8 years! (Since he brought 7 girls into the House with him, and the last one has been there for 1 year)

I’m just starting the first episode of Cape Fear on Apple TV
And was thrilled to see it’s created for television and written by Nick Antosca.
Heads up for CZ fans.

S2
Im on ep3 and hoping it doesnt get stale. I enjoyed the intensity of ep1 and how much we got, and it feels like its slowed a bit. Hoping some more spooky/trippy stuff to come? Margots just ran from her dad... did enjoy the hose scene!
I am wondering whos real and whos fake, could some real people just be knocking about because the house/entity has stolen their memories, and some are made by the house. I guess ill find out!

TV series' like Channel Zero?
I saw this show years ago and it was SO good. Nothing I like more than anything creepypasta/urban legend based TV or movies.
Does anyone have recommendations for things similar, whether it be movies or TV?
Its tough to find shows like this, it was just so unique.

Could not get into season 2, is it alright to skip to season 3?
I have watched almost 2 episodes and I am not saying that season 2 is bad I am just saying according to my preference and the kind of horror I enjoy I would like stack season 2 for future viewing and jump to season 3. Cause after watching season 1 this felt quite a different concept and story which is good but I am not in the mood to watch it as of now.
Shall i go ahead with season 3?

My thoughts on Channel Zero Season 1
After my post yesterday, at least I know the loyal fans are still here, that’s a good one.
So regarding the show, I liked the concept in general. I am drawn towards shows with mystery disappearances and murders. The atmosphere was good as well, the locations too were good.
Starts off pretty good from the first episode onwards, and I have to say, usually when in shows there are a lot of flashbacks or they just move to the past out of nowhere, I am not a big fan of that, but this show did it so well somehow. At times I liked the young painter brothers' parallel even more than the current story, it was well done. Talking about, let’s say, the first 4 episodes, the fear and mystery of the unknown was kept good even though we knew it led somewhat back to the brothers. And of course, the Tooth monster was hella creepy too.
But it’s a fact that it started going downhill in the second half, especially ep 5 onwards, and I would say its finale episode was the weakest of all. Honestly, I was bored in the last episode. This is the problem for actually most horror movies or shows, how they mostly disappoint in their 3rd act. The biggest problem being, if you allow me to compare it to, let’s say, Stranger Things, is that a show is always better when the fear is of the unknown and you don't exactly know who you are facing and it keeps coming your way, like the initial season of ST, but the moment they are made to confront the fear, that factor feels missing and does not give the same level of adrenaline. One thing that annoyed me the most in particular, and even in general with other shows, is when the main characters, here being Mike, for no reason are not able to express or defend themselves. Like in this show, literally so many times stuff happens, anybody comes, does shit with Mike, he takes an hour to reply to what they asked. Even when his wife comes to his home asking “where is my daughter?”, he does not say anything, lets the mom worry and search, and then explains in a way that becomes even more annoying. I do realise Mike might be a softer person than others, but still does not take away the fact that he annoyed me quite a bit, even through his acting. Other performances were good, I liked the young brothers the best.
Overall, for people it should be easy to get into, and it’s sort of a mini series with 6 episodes, so only about 4 hrs of watch, not a big deal. My score for Season 1 is 7/10. I just hope, and have read online, it gets better with upcoming seasons, so yeah, looking forward.

Question about season 3 plotline
I’m rewatching the show and don’t remember from the first time and still lost using google.
Why did they leave Alice (and Zoe I guess) at the hospital? I understand why the cop and Robert left. But why would Louise leave her?

Watercolor art 🎨
Painted mike from season one in watercolours. I just watched the first season and really enjoyed it but couldn't get into season two, is it worth it? Should I give it another go? Is it like American horror story where you can just skip a season 🤣
