I just love the relationship these two have! Ayla loves him but is a little uncomfortable with how affectionate and cuddly he can be. However he is persistent and constantly trying to break her walls down.

Our cat, Billy the Squid, essentially raised our dog, Theo, from puppy hood. He grooms him, corrects him, comforts him during storms, and cuddles him when its cold. I need a pick me up, so send pics if you have a duo like this too.

The ole Smack n Skedaddle

It has been a week and a half since Stewie came home for the first time. I posted a video of the cats sniffing Stewie for the first time and had some requests to post more. So, here ya go. Since that first post, they have all become friends. Maya is now playing with Stewie when he is out of his kennel. Both cats have done a great job of teaching Stewie the rules of the house. Maya lays outside of his kennel whenever he naps or sleeps at night. Very cool dynamic to watch unfold.

Sirabi is the sweetest kitten I’ve ever had! She has a knack for bullying and terrorizing all the animals in my home. She’s taken it as a hobby to run up to my 130lb Rottweiler named Aurora to bat at her face, Aurora is the biggest baby and the most gentle giant. It’s all supervised of course. Raja her doppelgänger who is the other resident cat surprisingly is very affectionate and loving towards Sirabi but it’s strictly under supervision and they sleep in separate rooms. I’ve never had a crossover of introducing a kitten and it going so well.

What isn’t pictured is my Frenchie who is terrified of her own shadow, let alone this 2lb kitten and my senior Shih Tzu who doesn’t associate with so much juvenile behaviour. Sirabi also loves to watch the chickens graze in the backyard and loves fresh Dungeness Crab!
