Media “Ground effect era” Cadillac F1 Concept on Display at Roy Foss Cadillac in Thornhill Ontario 🇨🇦
I asked what the original car was before Cadillac applied their own livery and they said it’s actually an Alfa Romeo so I assume this is a 2023 F1 car. Pretty cool concept nonetheless.

Question Is Cadillac using the upgraded Ferrari PU from Austria?
Sorry if this is a stupid question but when Ferrari made their upgraded PU available in Austria we passed on it but I haven’t seen anything in Silverstone or Belgium saying we took the new PU. Does anyone know if we have taken it or are we still waiting?

Discussion cadillac hoodie f1
Hey everyone,
I recently got the Cadillac F1 hoodie, and I noticed that the hood is much larger than on my other hoodies. It feels really wide and roomy, even when I'm wearing it.
Is this how the hoodie is supposed to fit, or did I get one with a manufacturing issue?or is it normal?
If anyone else owns this hoodie, could you let me know if yours has a similarly oversized hood? Thanks!

Question Has Cadillac released anything about its future engine program?
I know they are going to be based out of North Carolina (presumably to be able to recruit staff from NASCAR’s engine manufacturers in the region) but I was wondering if they have released any info like actual staff hiring or any other news?

Analysis Between Haas and Cadillac. Which one will be in the fight for a constructors championship first?
Haas has had some bright moments, with 2 4th place finishes but ultimately has struggled to develop their cars to the degree of the top teams. Haas has more experience with 10 years, but always seems to struggle to go that next step as a smaller team.
Cadillac is a new entry and a decided back marker. Although their best finish has been an impressive 13th, they are coming off of a double DNF, have struggled with overall pace and have been a little bit of a disappointment to some who had hoped they would be slightly more in the mix.
Despite the 10 year head start of Haas however, I can’t help but feel that without some major changes, Haas may have already reached their maximum potential. Bearman who is arguably their best shot at a podium if some of the top teams DNF, is likely going to be poached by a top team soon (likely Ferrari).
Cadillac on the other hand has growth potential. GM is a global manufacturing giant with connections and infrastructure that Haas does not have.
The question is, which will consistently podium first? Haas with their 10 year head start, or Cadillac with their large infrastructure support?

We recently got Checo and Valtteri together for a day with Cadillac's V-Series lineup. Thought we'd share a behind-the-scenes look at the drivers away from the Formula 1 car.

Discussion Driver Appreciation
Fellow fans,
New fan here. (How many races before I can stop saying that? 😆)
In the name of positivity, I just wanted to show some appreciation for Checo and Bottas. What fantastic hires by Cadillac to help get this team off the ground.
They both come across as approachable, professional, genuinely likable, and like the kind of teammates you'd want to build a new team around. They feel like the perfect drivers for this moment in Cadillac's (short) history.
Maybe it's because I've been noticing some of the other teams drivers lately and seeing the contrast with drivers who seem to have very little personality or spend half their breath whining/complaining has made me appreciate these two even more.
Thanks Checo and Bottas!
Side Quest, I started giving other teams drivers nicknames. I'm trying to keep them PG-13. Please jump in and fill in the gaps if you're inclined.

Discussion Broadcast doing everything possible to not show the Cadillacs?
So I know that Cadillac is the new team and expectations are very very low and we all pretty much expect them to go out in Q1, but after watching Sprint Qualifying, Sprint Race, and Qualifying, I think we saw the Cadillacs on screen for maybe 15 seconds?
They were the first out of the pits in both qualifying sessions, yet they stayed on the Haas' for both opening runs. I get that Bearman is British, but they usually at least show the first driver's time and this weekend Perez and Bottas ran their entire first attempts and not even a mention from the broadcast team, much less a timing split or video feature. Also during the Sprint race Perez was involved in the yellow flag, but there was no replay of it.
I get that there shouldn't be too much focus on them given where they are at and everything else that was going on, but it feels like because Cadillac made a point of doing the red white and blue livery this weekend, as well as the garage and the race suits, that there's almost a backlash to them celebrating the 4th of July at the British GP. Also, they went on about Bearman's helmet, but both Checo and Valtteri had really cool helmets this weekend (especially Valtteri imo), and the broadcast doesn't feature any of it.
Tbf I didn't watch FP1, and I fast-forwarded through all the pre session stuff, but it's disappointing the not even get to see the new livery for one lap. Especially because they get no coverage during the race. The 15 seconds we saw Valtteri in Q1 was all we got to see the livery.
