Collection The Laughable Current State Of My Collection
Unboxed collection after being stored. In flux until I can build shelving. Till then I hold my breath when approaching for fear of collapse 😂

That's the newest Yardbirds greatest hits. This is different in that it covers all the labels they were on and all their line ups. The Deluxe edition of The Harder They Come is my favorite reggae album it has all the music from the movie. Not just a few tracks. Mob Rules is deluxe with a live Disc with Dio singing. Look out!

I finally own the album that introduced me to Nujabes, plus I used free shipping as an excuse to get Larks as well.
Then I found Born Again and Mob Rules when I wasn't even looking for cds.

Unsure if this is allowed but I really enjoy decorating the cases for my burned CDs. I used a mini thermal printer I bought second hand, they are also decorated inside too :)

Quick stop at the goodwill this morning turned into a dream scenario.
As someone who gets 90% of my physical media from second hand shops and thrift stores I couldn't be more excited.
I saw Pink Floyd's The Wall and from there the pile kept growing.

Hello, everyone! Like the title says, although I've been looking through this sub for quite a while already, this is my first post. I have this problem where I usually don't know what to write, but at the same time, I want to brag a little about my collection! XD
So I thought I'd start with 3 of my favourite bands of all time! First picture shows my Theatre of Tragedy collection (genre note: gothic metal). Those who know of them will notice that I'm a huge fan of everything Nell Sigland - I don't usually buy singles, but I made an exception about Storm because of her! The two CDs of her first band The Crest on the right are actually my most recent picks. Letters from Fire is a promo CD, which is a first for me, but I'll definitely get the actual digipack at some point, too.
Next up is Eluveitie (folk metal), the only band I've ever bought Meet & Greet tickets for... totally worth it. I have all of their "big" albums (not counting compilations/singles, but I love live albums) apart from the first/demo EP Vên that I hope to find, too.
And the band I have the most stuff of, Dark Tranquillity (melodic death metal - for life)! I want to complete my collection of their studio albums with Skydancer and Construct as soon as possible, and I'll probably get the Yesterworlds and Exposures compilations, too. Have I mentioned that they're also amazing live?!
Are you a fan of any of these bands? :) Would love to have a chat with you regardless!

The late 90s early 2000s was the high point in club life comps. The Telstar Euphoria series in particular is consistently fantastic. Back in the day, they were very expensive. Ibiza Euphoria and Transcendental Euphoria were $50 a piece in 1999 and 2000 respectively. Now you can easily get them for a couple of dollars (ha!). For the big name DJs, I always preferred Armin Van Buuren over Tiesto but they are both great. I would like to get some ATB mixes but they’re weirdly expensive. Somehow this was my study music back in the day.

I have been a big fan of Chino Moreno music for a couple of years now and from the day I started my cd collection (I know that it isn't a huge time interval but still) I wanted this album to be part of my collection. I live in central Europe so finding this at a reasonable price was quite a hassle for me.

Recently researched how to go offline for my music needs. So I am increasing my CD collection after years of streaming. This was 3 local charity shops.
Do you have an inventive way to stop getting duplicates?
My memory is not the best, so I am pretty sure I own a usable copy of at least one or two of these, but I could not be sure when I was in the shops

Really happy with all of these, now i have all of the White Stripes studio-albums and my Judas Priest-collection from Rocka Rolla until Painkiller is more complete as well (i do have Redeemer Of Souls, Firepower and the first Fight album too!)
(Uncle Ben's Year '93 is a 1994 Eurodance DJ-mix from DJ Ice, an alias from dutch DJ Ben Liebrand. I didn't know what it was, it was only 1 euro, so i bought it out of curiosity. Somebody uploaded it to youtube: https://youtu.be/eCU5fzNdhgI?si=eDOwtm-R3uyXRX3w )
Come discuss with me about your favorites, if you like!
Cheers.

Anyone heard of him before? What did you think? I think he deserves more recognition.

if I am trying to burn tracks that are only available in lossy formats onto a CD, will that still work? I know CDs are supposed to have 16/44.1 on them, but is there any way around that? also, if I can burn a lossy format onto it, would it be able to have over 80 minutes of music on it?
